Absolutely the worst run campground I have ever been too. Toxic campground Supervisors that carry out vendictive penalties to anyone not their friends! No way to spend precious family times!

We have spent an enjoyable season at the park. The park is beautifully and professionally run by Brenda and Joe. The people in the park are friendly and our neighbors were awesome.

I am mystified by some of the earlier complaining. The changes made the new owner to this park have born fruit. A real community is growing in place of what sounded like an out of control situation. Good riddance.

Keep going new management you are doing a great job!

If you are thinking of joining this community just do it!

I would never recommend anyone stay in this park. It was a great place to enjoy your weekends, then they hired new management who patrol the park every half hour on their golf carts and glare at you while you are sitting on your deck or yard minding your own business. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life! The rules change constantly you are now given only 1 and final warning before being evicted. One guy was suspended for a weekend for having a beer can left on his lawn overnight. The season fees are always increasing and you get nothing for them the park has nothing to offer. Of you complain about anything you are told to leave. The communication by the owner to the tenants is terrible at best nor respectful.

This campground is the best, it is well maintained, beautiful and peaceful. The site manager really knows what he is doing. I recommend going here as soon as you have a chance!

NEW MANAGERS ARE CREATING A CULTURE OF FEAR. I have been visiting my cousin who has a seasonal trailer here for a while now. Since my first visit three years ago, I had always enjoyed everyone who owns a site and invests their money into this park. The tenants here are kind-hearted, community-driven hard-working people, who love to fish and deserve to kick back and enjoy their investment property. Unfortunately, since the new managers have taken over the park, they are treating these responsible loyal investing adults as children and criminals. As a seasonal camper for the majority of my life, I had never experienced such a level of authoritarian overbearing behavior from park management. This year I experienced these managers spying in bushes, standing nearby my cousin's site on a dock arms crossed with angry expressions paired with recent threats of kicking them out of the park. The reason.wait for it.laughing and enjoying themselves with their fellow park neighbors around a camp fire. I mean how dare these campers have simple harmless fun right? They were not disrupting neighbors, there were no complaints. In fact all of the neighbors were at my cousin's place very much enjoying themselves in a very responsible way. That is right ladies and gentlemen, over 3K a year in park fees, and this is the high disgraceful level of unreciprocated loyalty to expect as a seasonal tenant at Otter's Edge. Overall I feel bad for each seasonal camper, because to add to this oppressive management style which apparently has happened all season, many campers have been kicked out or left to the tune of over 100K in revenue loss for the actual owner. Now, I am all for not tolerating terrible tenants as a landlord myself, but in all my years of visiting I have never seen any behavior that would dictate such an action of permanent removal from the park from not just a few, but many of these very loyal community-driven tenants. This has also spiked many to leave as their community is being overrun by management's decision to kick out many of their friends. I am taking the time to write this in hopes the actual ownership can look at this from a business standpoint of revenue loss, and realize you stand to loose even more money long term with the reputation damage your hired management is causing Otter's Edge. I know these hired guns are touting their good work of strategically cleaning up the mess of all the "drunks" in the park, but the reality is people like to drink, and these campers are very responsible. By being treated as criminals and children from your current management, they are driving away business and word is getting out that Otter's Edge is not where you want to spend your hard-earned money. One last item to note, there is also a priority issue that needs to be mentioned. The weekend I was visiting there was a very large temporary weekend group of over 20 tents, they were given many passes from the regular rules from your current tyrannical management over that of your seasonal tenants. Seasonal campfires that had larger groups having a few laughs after 11pm where policed aggressively with stare downs and hovering on nearby docks. This apparently frequent passive-aggressive action from management forced these loyal campers into being scared that they would get kicked out if they did not disband. Meanwhile, the 20-weekend tent group was very loud until the wee hours of the morning with nothing but smiles and gratitude from management. So I guess the question is, ownership needs to decide and quickly what management style and type of tenant you want at Otter's Edge, and will this decision or lack of making one impact your bottom line revenue even further? Yours truly, as a hard-working business owner, landlord, fisherman, friend of many great people, and overall concerned loyal guest and family member of a loyal seasonal tenant that this once great park is on the verge of forever being ruined. PS you should think about building another bathroom with more than two showers if you are charging over $3K a year.

My family and I have stayed here many times over the years and this year has been the best. Thankful to see the park cleaned up by the new owners who are friendly and accommodating. Much more family-oriented and relaxing than in previous years. Looking forward to our next stay. Thanks for having us folks.

We just stayed at Otter Edge Estates and it was great. The new owners/managers have definitely cleaned up the park! Very personable; great service and family-oriented (versus years ago when we stayed and were disturbed by the party goers). Will be back!

Very poorly managed park, great people but new ownership along with the management team are killing the place. The place was always a "it is what you make it" kind of place but the new owners are all about money and literally have put no effort in making the park better for its tenants, if it doesn't make them money then the place doesn't have it. You can get alot more for less elsewhere.
