Great high intensity adventure! All family enjoyed 12 and 14 yo included! Collin was awesome! Talented and knowledgeable!

We had an unforgettable rafting experience with OWL rafting. If you like a more intense experience on one of the best rafting locations in the world, I strongly recommend their Sports rafting package.

The equipment was clean, safe and well maintained. The guides are all young, fascinating and highly capable professionals that brighten up you trip with great personal stories and all kind of fun facts about the region. They always explained in detail what was ahead and checked if everyone was okay with that, which made us feel safe at all times.
Ending the trip on pontoon boat with a delicious bbq added to the wholesome, familylike feeling that marked the whole day.
Unlike many other tourist operators OWL is also highly involved in the maintenance and preservation of the natural beauty of this area. On our way down the river we came across several of their rafts with volunteers who were doing an annual clean-up action. This showcases their philosophy and the long-time connection this wonderful team has with the river.

Went with my family and had the best time. OWL is doing things right. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Delicious food.

Fantastic fun from start to finish. Easton and Derek were awesome guides in the raft and we had an absolute blast. Organized, safe and exhilarating. Can't wait to go back again!

How to give this review justice. It was amazing from the moment we arrived until we departed 4 days later. The staff are primarily made up of university students. They work hard and play hard. It watched their tireless efforts from checking in to every meal. They gave 110% every day. And it was a joy to watch them interact with the guests as they relaxed and enjoyed themselves at the days end. Bathrooms were immaculate, and I know for certain they were cleaned at least 3 times a day. Meals were standard but delicious. I only had an issue with the first breakfast as the scrambled eggs were ice cold. I didn't mention it and thought it was maybe just a one-off. Every other meal and morsel of food was excellent. The steak dinner was delicious and service amazing. We camped on the property and had a great spot, close to the bathroom and shower. The shower was an outdoor shower heated using solar heat very clean and a mice hot shower and the toilets were composting and clean. Now that is the facility. The white water rafting experience was over and above my expectations. Our guide, Colin, had me relaxed and comfortable all day. Although I was/am terrified of water, I didn't have a single moment where I felt in danger knowing that anything could happen beyond our control. It was a fun filled action pack exhilarating experience. I felt like I could have done the adventure rafting. We actually did the Sport or Medium rafting. Watching all the guides in our group of 5 rafts 2 Medium and 3 advanced. They all work together to ensure a safe and fun experience for all. If you are on the fence, you have to give Owl Resort white water rafting a try. You won't be Dissapointed.

We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights and did the medium intensity trip. We found the whole experience to be great. The facility is clean, well run, and they seem to offer everything that you might need. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Our guide on the raft Zac was friendly and made for a great experience. We always felt safe to the point where we might try high intensity next time! Highly recommend.

We took a group of 21 of our staff to OWL rafting today and had an incredible time!

Our group ranges in age from 18-62 years old. We had half of the group take the low intensity route and half on the medium intensity route. Everyone enjoyed themselves!

The crew was amazing - Alex, Hannah, Ren and many more. They were fun, patient and knowledgeable.

Highly recommend for a corporate team building activity. We will definitely be back!

The trip was amazing. We had several small kids and signed up for the easier level but everyone had a blast. The steak dinner on the pontoon boat was the icing on the cake at the end of a long day.

Our guide Wren was top notch and made our trip the best experience ever.

Our guide was great. The food was good we camped the only thing that would make it better is if we could have our own camp fire at our campsite. Absolutely loved your time. All the staff was wonderful and friendly and welcoming. Great experience tons of fun!

It was a great experience lead by raft instructor, Zac. He is an awesome guide down the rapids. Very knowledgable, gave us time to swim in the calm parts of the river, and also let me man the ores for a bit. Our group had fun.
The food was good, and the resort is well kept and cared for daily by all the staff.

Booked a 2 night stay as a mom and son road trip. We booked the Glamping tents and while they are a wee hike to the washroom, the privacy and view were so worth it! Very spacious. Beds were cozy even though it was raining and 12 degrees in the morning (beds were warm even without a heater to take dampness out). Rafting was amazing! Son, 24, did high intensity, and I (55) did the medium run. Next time I would do high intensity. Water was surprisingly warm. All staff were great, guides reassuring and so genuine. Thank you Ash! Facilities clean and band on Saturday was great! Food, ok, but they have a lot of people to serve and you can't expect fine dining in the middle of the wilderness. Already trying to get a group together to do it again next summer. Make the leap people! Do something you have always wanted to but haven't. The memories are well worth the cost! It was an amazing adventure on the Ottawa RIver and we had an amazing guide. There were eight of us that went the Family Rafting Adventure and we all loved it. Thank you Owl Rafting and Thank you Robin for taking us on the trip of a lifetime.

We did the adventure raft and resort package, which included two nights stay, a day of rafting and a day of relaxing at the resort, as well as all of our meals. We upgraded from the regular accommodations to the cabanas. The staff at owl were super friendly and the guides were very knowledgeable, which ensured everyone had the experience they wanted.

I would definitely go back to owl rafting, I'm not sure I would pay to upgrade the accommodations.

Our compostable toilet made the cabin smell like a porta potty, whereas the other couple we went with didn't have this issue. The staff were fast to act when we said something, however the solution was short lived and the smell had returned by the next day.

The food was good, with excellent portion sizes and we even were served beer with dinner from the local Whitewater brewery.

Regardless of the issues with the toilet smell, we had a fantastic time and will definitely go back - next time to do the high intensity rafting!

Shout out for OWL rafting! We went for a weekend family camping and whitewater rafting trip in August 2023. We booked this trip before my son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and weren't sure what to expect as all meals are provided, including a BBQ dinner on a pontoon boat after rafting. Just to say.the staff at OWL went over and above to provide carb counts, never questioned us or made us feel awkward. They were extremely accommodating, allowed us to pack his "kit" in the guide's dry-bag, brought it and his snacks out at the rest stops with no questions asked. Honestly, I can't say enough about how great they were to work with. This was not our first trip to OWL, but we will 100% be back again. Long story short - don't hesitate to book this trip as a family with T1D needs. Woot! Woot!

We had an absolutely amazing white water rafting experience led by an outstanding guide, Easten. Not only did we navigate through fun rapids, our guide also provided us with historical insights about the Ottawa River and surrounding area. Easten's passion and expertise, on the water made for a memorable experience. Our cruise back on the pontoon boat after the rafting was a nice touch with very tasty food. I highly recommend Owl Rafting for their professionalism, expertise and fun factor!

As first time rafters, my wife and I really enjoyed our experience. The instruction from the staff was on point, and their youthful exuberance was amazing. The overall event for us was better than we expected. We'll done to the Owl Rafting team. See you again soon!

We came to OWL Rafting (a rescheduled date which was accommodated and we were very grateful for) earlier in July, and the experience was phenomenal! My friend and I were first time rafters and felt very safe, encouraged, and thrilled all at once. All staff at OWL Rafting were very friendly and worked to give guests a memorable time. Ry was our raft staff and he was awesome out on the water all day! He explained all the rapids in detail, engaged us in positive conversations (we were 3 separate groups of people on the raft), and shared some fun stories/jokes throughout the day; you could tell he was also really considerate of his co-staff and other rafting company on the water. Also special shout out to the camera guy who was working hard to create visual memories for everyone during their adventure, a talented dude to be able to capture this for so many different people simultaneously! The bonfires were a nice touch during the evening, and we loved seeing the property pigs (a kind staff showed us them at the end of the night before we returned to our tent)! The only thing I would have liked to have had otherwise is accessible water bottles for sale. All around 5-star trip, and we hope to stay for longer next time around!

Wow! Awesome day at Owl Rafting. We were a group of 6 doing the single-day low intensity rafting and had an awesome time! Derek was a great raft guide (and took us through some medium-intensity rapids after discussing the options with us), and Steven and Graham were awesome too. We would definitely go back for more!

Not only was the rafting so much fun but every part of our experience with owl was amazing. The location is beyond beautiful, their amenities are great and their staff are top notch! The guides are funny and very knowledgeable making for a very fun and funny ride. They're definitely making sure you're both safe and having the time of your lives.

Could not comment on rooms! We have a place in Pembroke but I can tell you this place is fantastic! I have been to Owl on several occasions! In our family we have all gone to Qwl at one time or another! I am now 76 yrs.and will make this my last trip but I brought my 14 yr.old Granddaughter this time and it is her first time! She loved it and will go again next year with her mother and friends! So the family tradition continues! It is worth every penny!

We had such a great time at OWL. We did the 2 night soft adventure family package and stayed in a cabin. Our guide (Colin) was amazing! He laughed at the lame dad jokes, helped calm my frightened 10 year old, eases my concerns as a non swimmer. We had a blast, felt very safe on the water and it will be a family memory that'll stick with us!
The cabins were fine - just a place to sleep. The washrooms were very well kept. It was a great camp feel with lots of outdoorsy things to do (paddle board, kayak, canoe, hang by the fire, beach volleyball etc.). Food was decent.

Loved rafting with Owl! This was my second summer to experience it and I'm definitely going to go again next summer. Our guide, Ash, was fantastic!

We had a group of 6 and joined 6 others to make our rafting group. The guide Robyn was super friendly, knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. The best experience rafting.this company puts the client experience at the top of the list. Thanks Robyn for a terrific memory.
