Very nice lowkey place. As I’m not a huge seafood person, I still liked the place. I had probably the best Takoyaki ever and the sushi I had was also good (rocket roll #1). But I really liked the Takoyaki. Staff is very friendly as well.

Food as always was amazing and flavourful, but our server Ana rlly made our experience wonderful this time!

The restaurant's menu advertised ramen dishes served with two pieces of pork belly. However, during our recent visit with a small group, we were each served only a single thin slice of pork. When we brought this to our server's attention, they explained that the restaurant typically provides only one slice when it is thick, but this did not seem to be the case for any of us, as we all received a similar, minimal portion size/thin slice.

In addition to the bowl of ramen not being hot and almost being lukewarm, we also found that the noodle portions served by the restaurant were surprisingly small and unsatisfying, lacking even some of the common ingredients such as naruto, corn, and the promised bean sprouts and green onions that was listed and bolded on their menu. This was particularly disappointing, given the standard serving size for ramen at other restaurants. The lack of ingredients gave the impression that the restaurant was deliberately cutting corners.

Overall, our dining experience at this restaurant wasn't the most enjoyable due to the misleading menu descriptions, inadequate portion sizes, and missing ingredients.

This place was my goto sushi place, I loved it so much. It's very disappointing that tonight 4 of 6 alaska rolls had brown/grey pieces of avocado in them and 1 of my yam rolls also had the same.

I get that it's Christmas eve and you guys are busy but that stuff could have potentially made me very ill If I had accidentally eaten it.

This is a small place but has amazing food and service. If you are a sushi lover it's a great place to go. Will go back again.

I had a pretty good experience here when I visited for the first time, and decided to bring my boyfriend here again (his first time!). Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the male server this time, he was rude to us and basically didn't care about offering good service. We didn't understand why because he was just plainly rude to us right when we stepped into the restaurant. We can also sensed that the server talked to his colleague about us the whole time when we were there, which we were clueless on why because we didn't do anything upsetting. The food was okay and more at the pricey side, and with this kind of attitude from the server, it was a terrible dining experience.

I ordered a ramen soup, Good flavour but was not hot enough. Nothing outstanding in terms of flavour. The egg was just a regular boiled egg. Rolls were a little bit salty. The staff and people serving were pretty nice I will give them 5 stars.

Got the rocket roll 1 and black dragon roll. Both were really good. I preferred the rocket roll since I personally love salmon and cream cheese. Service was super quick. The rolls came out very shortly after we ordered them. You can tell the sushi is good quality and def is one of my fav places to get a la carte sushi

Ordered off ubereats. Miso soups were nothing but slightly salty and cloudy water. Nothing in it.
Garden salad was just lettuce. No dressing provided. $6ish for the salad. So just paid for 2 heads of lettuce, and instead got a cup of chopped leaves…

I came to eat last Tuesday and the service was really really nice. The food was really fresh and I was amazed how fast, and professional the servers and chefs were. I said it was my birthday and they gave me greentea cheese cake which was really thoughtful. They also packaged my leftovers with extra soy sauce to bring home. Would definitely come back.

We used to come here often as the food is really good. However, my girlfriend and I took her mother out for a nice meal (as she is from the Caribbean and we have never met after 3 years of dating) and they said they did not have seating for 3. So they placed us on a tiny bar bench at the front (which was so accommodating). We sat and waited and nobody took our order, but the group that came in after us had their order taken promptly. Then, a family of 5 came in and they told them they did not have seating for 5 and said they could order takeout instead. The craziest part is, they had 2 empty tables, both capable of seating 3 or 5 people but were holding them for even numbers of people. Absolutely ridiculous will not return even though food is great. It is a shame bad service ruins a great establishment.

This is the sushi place where I always get takeout and it’s delicious every time. Definitely been a lifesaver during the pandemic.

I would give 5 star for the sushi and sashimi. That is the best I have in London. Very fresh and BBQ eel sushi is surprising me! I really love it. You can see from the pic, the eel sushi is really good. But I ordered a spicy ramen, that is just so so, the flavor is really really light.

Great restaurant ample size portion very flavourful a small buffet on a plate appetizer main and a couple of rolls plus soup and salad we'll be back names Dan not Arnie

Nice little place with quick friendly service. I'd never had sushi before but my daughter wanted some so we're got a couple orders of yam-avocado sushi. She gives it a 5-star rating and she's had sushi many times. I thought there was a fishy flavor which is apparently the seaweed wrap. That fishy taste was faint and the rest of the flavors and textures were really good. So as a sushi noob, I'd go 4 stars, but maybe sushi just isn't for me.

Courteous and quick service. Great quality and flavourful sushi. Really nice interior decor for both ground floor and upstairs. Prices are reasonable and a great variety of choices.

Every time I get the tofu teriyaki combo and it's PERFECT. It's not cheap, but their fried tofu is delicious and perfectly cooked every single time. It's not a traditional tofu teriyaki because it comes on a bed of lettuce and sauteed bean sprouts, onion, carrot, and strings of dried seaweed, which is an unexpected delight. Overall, with their delicious veggie gyoza and 3 yam rolls, this is a hearty vegan option. They have plenty of veggie sushi as well that I've yet to try, so much to look forward to!

We liked our food. The sushi was good. The salmon teriyaki was a bit dry but still good. I really liked the takoyaki, but I think it's because I know where to buy the exact ones, wish there was seaweed in the miso soup. Also, the salad the dressing was very vinegary. There was only one waitress but she was fast and nice. I have to say I felt bad for her she did the front of the restaurant all by herself: phone, take out orders, waitressing.kudos to this girl. Cozy layout.

The extra price is definitely worth it for actual fresh, high-quality sushi. I recently ordered the sushi&sashimi boat tray. All the fish was so delicious and we even asked for no surf clam so they replaced it with salmon for us. Not many places would do that. Great customer service and extremely delicious sushi.

Was looking forward to trying here, but they cancelled order with no warning after waiting an hour and a half. Be warned if you order from here that they may keep delaying the delivery time and then just cancel.

Korean-run Japanese restaurant in downtown London - its a small establishment with limited number of seats, but the food is alright. The price of general menu is also very fair compared to other Japanese restaurants in London that are typically way over-priced for what you get when you compare the prices of Japanese restaurants in Toronto. The salmon I had here had a very strong fishy after taste (hint: Sushi is not supposed to taste fishy or smell fishy), which indicates that they may be using stale Salmon, but you don't go to these establishments expecting high grade sushi anyway. Overall, I would say it is a better Japanese restaurant than most in London and would come back.

I have never had such a bad dining experience. There were only two people so they were placed in the middle of two tables while the two people in front of them were locals and they were placed in four seats inside. They feel discriminated and the waiters speak very hard, which is not the attitude of service. And the waiters talk about us in Korean, and the worst meal experience will never come back to this restaurant again.

I ordered the spicy ramen but it was really disappointing. The ramen was just the instant noodles from groceries with attached sauces bags.

Ordered the tokyo set for takeout on uber eats because we were really craving good sushi and saw the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with quality and size of fish, especially the sashimi. Some sashimi tasted way to briney and some was even sour. Also, there was NO wasabi or ginger with any of our meals (we got 2 sushi sets). Soy sauce was too salty compared to normal sushi soy sauce.

Great food and awesome service. However, I kept smelling gel nail/manicure smell (might be from next door) and it was causing a headache. Better ventilation would be nice!

I Was going to order take out. A lady was rude with me. I ordered and paid for Black Dragon. Having come home, I found that was given different sushi - not with eel…

I ordered tonkotsu ramen regular and it’s 3/5 soup. I wouldn’t come here if you want good authentic ramen.

I ordered dynamite roll and for the price, I thought the quality would be good but the dynamite roll I got comes with old rice and standard ingredients you can get at all you can eat sushi. Therefore it’s 3/5

Although the food was good. I was completely turned off by the experience we had last week. I called ahead and asked if it were ok for us to come in at 9pm for 3 of us.and whomever I spoke to on the phone said it was fine. We showed up, we were promptly seated upstairs.also fine. Our waitress was friendly.but this is where it goes down hill. We ordered in a timely fashion.some of the requested menu items were unavailable (it happens.) we start eating our food and then the music is shut off. And then the servers begin cleaning around us. And then other servers start complaining in Korean that we are still here… (our friend dining with us is Korean and informed us of this.even though it was blatantly obvious)
As we are nearly done our food, the waitress asks if we can settle the bill so she can do her cash out.and THEN just as we’re nearly finished.we are given boxes and asked to leave. If they didn’t want us dining they shouldn’t have let us come. I feel we were cheated out of an enjoyable meal and completely rushed out when we weren’t being slow at all. Before leaving I let the entire team know about how I felt and that I will not be returning. If the team did not want to stay a little passed 10pm they should not have sat us for dinner. Thanks for taking our money and being extremely rude by talking about us in Korean. We will not be returning.

The tuna roll was really good and the service as well.
Next time I pass by London, ON I will try other items from the menu for sure.

I've been coming here for years and I've NEVER had a bad meal! I can truly say I've eaten the entire menu and this place does NOT miss. Tonight they gave me a free appetizer because they said my meal was taking a long time (in my opinion it was a very normal amount of time to wait), which was so kind. This is my favourite sushi place in the city. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is all lovely

I love Ozen, but now it changed. Sushi were burned and too salty. Stuff was rude and inattentive, no water. A lot of items from menu aren’t available. Miso soup doesn’t have even 1 piece of tofu. I wouldn’t recommend to go there now.

This is my favourite sushi restaurant but this is the 2nd time I have had things in my sushi. The first time I had a long hair all intertwined though out my entire sushi roll and the 2nd time I had a spicy crab roll and the crab must have been in a plastic sleeve and they forgot to remove the sleeve. They rolled the crab meat and plastic up into the roll. Every piece had a big piece of plastic inside. The food is usually so good but that is so off putting.

I love it. I've been going there for years. Great food, decent prices and the staff are really nice too. I've never been disappointed with anything there. With anything I've tried. Its not all you can eat. With 2 friends the total bill is like thats with sushi and sashimi $65 -75 dollars and your stuffed.

Have had takeout and dine in services from here. Best tempura, shrimp or veggie, I’ve ever had (make sure to try the veggie for the pumpkin tempura, they make it so well). Sushi is really amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had. Simply an amazing sushi spot.

My wife & I have frequented Ozen since our Western days over 10 years ago now. The sushi is just as fresh, delicious, and the service fast & friendly as it was when we went there on our very first date. We still have our personalized chopsticks that they used to hang on the wall for when us regulars came in - a nice touch that went a long way. Remarkable Sushi. Always fresh and well prepared. Very authentic. The front of house staff is very efficient and well trained. Very observant of the pandemic related health and sanitation protocols. I was very satisfied by my sashimi and tempura! This restaurant is well worth ordering from.

Great little spot for sushi and sake! Ordered salmon avocado rolls and was very surprised on how fresh the salmon was. Also got the Nagasaki udon, great flavour nothing special. Hot sake paired very well with the meal.

Great sushi, tastes very fresh! Not more expensive than bento, but tastes way better.

They have gluten free soy sauce available if you need it!

For London, ON, this sushi blew me away. I'm originally from Toronto which is a real cultural hotspot, so it's expected that you can get good quality, decently authentic food from all international corridors. Seeing this quality of sushi in London really surprised me, and I think that these guys deserve a solid 4 stars on a Toronto-level scale. My only complaint would be some of their in-house presentation of certain dishes. However, overall this place is great to order from and actually makes miso soup correctly.

Sweet place this one, Ozen Japanese restaurant, located at 607 Richmond Street, close to its intersection with Central Avenue, almost diagonally across from Victoria Park, here in London, Ontario. My wife and I really 'lucked-out' with parking. We were early in the dinner hour, and so we were able to find a metered-parking-place on Central Avenue and just walked back to Richmond Street, and across to the restaurant. My grandmother lived on Central Avenue almost across the street from where we parked, and from birth until her death, I spent a lot of time (sometimes all summer) in London visiting with my favorite grandmother. So for 81-years and counting, this is 'my-home-area' here in London.

The food here is great. That's why I hate to say that the seating on the ground floor is not great (pretty cramped). The seating on the top floor is quite nice but is often not open. The service has been ok. We prefer takeout to eating in here after several occasions where the service lacked.

The food is good but very expensive. The place is very small, not great for private conversations. Service is quick. The price is too high for the experience.

Always look forward to going to lunch here. I order them shrimp tempura, red dragon roll, seaweed salad and miso soup. Delicious.

Ozen has the best selection of signature soups and sushi anywhere in London! They are prompt, friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your experience. The location is beautiful, clean and intimate - perfect for a date!

The gum that they provide at the end of a meal is a nice touch vs.the mints that you usually get when you go to a restaurant. It's the little things that make a huge difference. The food is delicious, it's a must try! Thanks Ozen:)

Nice atmosphere in a great location downtown London. Always great service and excellent food. A lot of value for the dollar here, I’ve had their lunch special more times than I can count.

My favorite SkipTheDishes restuarant.
I always order Alaska, between 2 to 4 rolls, and sometimes between 1 and 2 other rolls.
The only thing I would say is that Alaska roll is a philly role, and it took me way too long to realize that. Philly is my all time favorite, so I expect to continue ordering Alaska for a Loooooong time!

Note: I only once did a pick up. Was 100%. Quick, easy, to the point, just the way I like it.

Got the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had from here. Never had issues with O'zen Korea though (the one in West london).

I love O’Zens! One of my favourite restaurants. The food is delicious! Best ramen I’ve ever had, and the sushi is fresh and tasty. Good prices, and it looks a lot better inside now than how it used to look.

They had nice sashimi with friendly staff. Especially their albacore tuna had nice smoke taste from torched outside. It was bomb.
