Avoid hiring this company.

I hired them in the past to move my vending machines. They have only one mover with an electric pump trunk and electric lift on the truck. I requested this driver and was told I would get him. However, he went on vacation, and a different driver was sent. I was not informed of this prior to the arrival of the mover.

This mover did not know how to move a vending machine. When he tried to move the machine, he dropped it; it shook a lot; the trauma was so bad that the skid broke. In the end, he was unable to move the vending machine, so he left, and a different mover came and took take of it.

The first mover damaged my vending machine by causing an internal crack in my vending machine's refrigeration, which made my drinks warm. My customers were very upset, and I had to replace the refrigeration unit.

When I called PACEX to explain what happened, they told me, "We feel that we did not cause the damage and will not refund you. " Even though the machine was new, it was working before the mover came and was placed in a secure location. They also said that "maybe someone at the location caused the damage". The location is a corporate building with 24/7 camera footage, the damage was not caused there. However they did not seem to care about that and kept on blaming the location. Also, I own several of these machines, and only this machine had this issue. PACEX was just making an excuse for their mover and needed justification not to refund me.

At one point, I was told, "It's our job to move the objects, and if it gets damaged, you are liable for the repairs, not us. " What's the point of hiring a moving company if your property gets damaged in transit?

Lastly, they still need to give me a receipt or invoice. They have no issue charging me but can't provide proof of purchase.

In summary: they will promise to send you a specific mover but may send someone else without giving you the heads up, the mover may damage your property, but the management will back them up and blame you for it. Then they charge your credit card and don't provide you with proof of purchase.

Save yourself the trouble and hire a different moving company.

Extremely aggressive drivers. If they can't solve that transportation issue they likely can't fix yours
