I went for enquiring about Interview and the lady sitting there is so rude this is the second time, last time also I was there for an hiring event and she spoke so rude.instead of talking rude to me shez saying to me dont show me attitude. The office address is 401 the west mall and she is sitting at front office.

Assault a minor and refuse to take action against someone they hired who bashed a minor and assaulted him multiple times

Horrible gaurds unprofessional and rude. I just a run in at the airport that blew my mind and made me so angry. They do not understand the rules and are nuts. Someone needs to look at them as they should not be there.

misbehaved with me her ID is 7 111, she had no patience and no respect I have the recorded proof of her wrong actions, very misbahavig with lack of respect.
The should inquire about it as no one is here to listen to their attitude problems.

Security guards hired by this company and stationed at Pearson Airport are on an ego trip and poorly trained. In particular, one guard, D Mehan, issued a ticket unjustly. As we were pulling up to pick up our family at the airport in the proper place of pickup, she told us to go to the next pillar. However, due to other cars parked at that next pillar, we were unable to move forward. Instead, we pulled up to the available pillar in front of us (where you are allowed to pull over to pick up passengers). The moment I put my car in park and my family approached my car with their luggages, she put the ticket on my car, while I was inside my car. She issued the ticket unjustly by noting that I did not "obey instructions displayed on the traffic sign", when the traffic sign allows cars to pull up in that exact spot. Security guards should not issue tickets out of ego or out of miscommunication, especially if they cannot take it back after they realize they made a mistake, which she noticed that she did make a mistake the moment my family was approaching my car with their luggages. She said she can't take it back after issuing. They should be using proper judgment all the time and not go on an ego trip. This was a very bad representation of this security company, which clearly doesn't have good reviews.

One of the better security companies out there in Ontario. Just wish they knew how to pick their clients better.

Update: I take back my current statement about this company. At this point, they have no idea what they're doing. They also don't know what their clients are saying and doing to their guards.

Update 2: This company seems to have improved over the months and I haven't had any issues with them for a few months now.

Just completed the 5 day training at Paladin. Julius, Nick and Xavier were brilliant with teaching and practical training. Learnt alot! Looking forward to working with Paladin.

Current situation of PALADIN is quite worse. Shortage of guards. No guard comes on time to relieve the guard on duty. Gaurds are not given proper break. Suggest PARAGON rather than PALADIN

Hiring people with limited English and lack of any communication / customer service skills like B. Harawy (pictured) is not the way to operate a security company. Extremely rude person lacking English language comprehension referring to people as "stupid". Screaming at women and children is not an example of security guard, one expects. He ended up calling Police, who told him to relax. Very sad. I hope he gets reprimanded for his actions. Lots of training required for this person.

I went to their office for the interview call but they didn't took our interviews and she was also very rude to us nd the girl was wearing black top and black pants.hope u talk to her about this issue.

I got an email regarding walk-in interview. I went to this place.then, not even they asked about anything just gave a paper regarding to have the immunization first. Then, afterwards you can apply online. It took me 2 hours nearby to reach this place. All the way afterwards, I was standing there. It was no more than 2 min. A lady came and asked to leave the building and go to Tim hortons in front.
Seriously worst experience of my life.

Wrong use of power from DANNY PEREIRA AND EREN SAHIN. I worked full time with them and one day they told me not to come to work untill you are contacted so i didn’t go to work the next week monday. And then on monday they called me to come in after my shift time started and i told them that I can’t come because EREN SAHIN told me not to come unless contacted. I said that i will continue work from next day. Then they disrespectfully told to not to come and terminated my employment with their own mistake.

Very bad experience.

Unresponsive, my friend submitted applications to many job sites offered by this company. No response, despite meeting all requirements. Unresponsive and rude.

Absolutely disgusted from the behaviour of one of your security officer’s. I was at Pearson Airport, arrivals terminal 3, at around 5pm yesterday with my mother and family when a gentleman pushed my mother into the trolley on purpose while uttering racial slurs and abusive language. I called airport security/police and a security officer from Paladin Security with badge number 7932 showed up. My brother began talking to him but he refused to listen and told us to stay quiet in a very rude and disrespectful way and decided to listen to the gentleman who pushed my mother first. He then told us to walk away as things seem sorted which was not the case. He ended the conversation by telling us and I quote “Go back to Brampton where you came from”! I am beyond disgusted! This statement is not only racist but demeaning and hurtful. Do better.

This company does not care for dedicated employees. I worked for this company for 8 years from 2008 to 2017. I put in 60 + hours a week in multiple facilities from Toronto to Hamilton from 2007 to 2011.
In 2011 Eventually working at the head office in opertions I was a supervisor worked my way to team leader. Did lots for the company but no respect for dedicated long term employees.
I really enjoyed working for this company until the last two years of my work there.
My son and wife gave me strength to leave this company and start my own business after many years. Can't lie it was best decision of my life.

Every private security company in Ontario is kind of legal fraud where excellent services are provided to the clients but not to employees. Employers are cutting their wage, health benefits and just using them as annual contract benefit and profit game.

I've never had a more terrible experience with a security company in all my years of living in Toronto.

A few weeks ago, my child was having a medical emergency while we were driving in the car. Therefore, I had to pull over onto a small street and tend to him. Before I could even get out of the car, a Paladin Security person came up to my car, banged on my window, yelling "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHY ARE YOU PARKED HERE? DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO DRIVE? WHATS WRONG WITH YOU. MOVE! "

As a woman, with a young child in distress, this was extremely distressing and frightening. He was very aggressive and demeaning, and scared my family.

His vehicle number is 4344 and this was on December 25,2022. He ruined my children's mood on Christmas day.

I tried providing this feedback privately to Paladin through their website and have not yet received a response after many weeks. Therefore, I decided to leave a review so that the public is aware.
Also, do not believe any of the positive reviews as they all come from employees. There's a reason why most of the most recent reviews are negative.

Another stereotype minimum wage paying typical security company. Mostly operates in Toronto and in healthcare facilities. Full of nepotism and favoritism. Disrespectful and sarcastic staff.

The site is good but i went there to get information about joining. But to my disappointment there was no clear pallet for that.

Paladin Security at the food court at the Eaton Centre are asking for Identification and your QR code is not good enough. GOOFS.

No body respond to your mails and phone calls. Worst customer service. Its been 2 months I am trying to get in touch with for hiring process, but they don't respond. Even I have 2 years experience.

I wantvto address the owner and Directors specifically. Introduce the proper training to your guards specially at hospitals. You may have connections to get contracts but after facing 4th time problems with the behavior with your guards I have to write this review. I would like to share with you a bad experience that i had today with our of your security guards at YYZ airport, as i was picking my mom, i had my vehicle parked as other vehicles on the second lane from the right and i was standing close, when this guy came screaming and yelling loudly asking me rudely with a aggressive tone on why do i have a space before me, i tried explaining that there was a vehicle that moved, but he didn't want to listen and continued yelling and screaming, so i yelled back telling him not to yet and scream as he do not have the right, but he continued as he was bashing the ground and moving the sign in from of me and threatened me with a ticket if i don't move the vehicle, my sister came to understand more from the guy what's going on and to tell him that my mom is actually outside the door and we are picking her, he started screaming at my sister's face telling her that we are not privilege and we have not said anything about that, and we tried telling him that our mom is a senior person and we are just waiting for her, my sister asked him to give us his badge number when he refused and slapped my sister on her hand as she had her mobile in her hand and pushed her.

This attitude is not excusable and i have never faced such incident through my life and i don't accept it at all.

I am bringing this to your kind attention, as I believe that my rights have been violated and this is not acceptable by any reputed company, i would like to hear from you on what kind of correction action that you will be taking against your employee.looking forward to hearing from you

When I was Working with Paladin security that time operations were good had no issue while picking or DropOff shifts due to some emrg. Reason. But Now I have to leave this job because new Operations (Night Time) and new PRC (city of Brampton) were not good as older were. I advised Paladin’s Owner to look at their rude behaviour as you can see that your guards are not working more with ur company.

Staff Rude behaviour during night time while picking up shifts is totally a joke and fun. Paladin’s Owner Must review their Rude behaviour and Check Other staff’s emails so that you will get to know why ur guards are not working right now … Unfortunately, I can’t add any recording with it.

Witness tailgating, speeding, making illegal U-turn at intersections to avoid red lights on Hwy 7 east bound in between ninth line and Brock Rd. With company vehicle Toyota Camry 4322. Total reckless and endangered driving. Have reported to police. This kind of behavior is not acceptable. And driving with company vehicle acting like this is totally disrespectful to the company and the job itself. This matter should be dealt seriously. If the company will tolerate this type of behavior, then what does it say about the company?

Wonderful company to work for. I was hired with Paladin, very shortly after obtaining my security license with NO experience (or "connections"). I worked my butt off throughout the training (due to covid, it had been compacted into 2 days as opposed to 5) and because I paid attention, I passed the training. Yes, the training was unpaid, however, I was informed prior to going and was willing to take the sacrifice, to obtain my career. If you feel they pay too little for "dangerous work", look into what a security guards expectations are and use your own judgement. I was a bartender for many years, in bars with no security, being paid less than minimum wage, if you're going to complain about having to deal with the job duties, then maybe security isn't the job for you. So your job, and rewards will come, don't expect to be handed anything on a silver platter

Paladin, I would just like to say. I had a recent interaction with one of your female guards at Mount Sinai. Lets call her sleepyhead because her customer service was so bad. Please enroll her in some sort of training. I would imagine you would if you investigate.

They don’t know how to deal with employees professionally. They give you training shift and through you out from the company as they did with my brother

The security company is very unprofessional and do not have any morals and are never true to their word.

Portfolio Resource Coordinator Deanna Kozakowski has been doing a stellar job in her role! She get tasks done very fast, efficiently and on time. It makes Paladin much more reputable when people like Deanna work for them.

I made the decision to join Paladin on my birthday March 25. Looking back, I had forgotten it was even my birthday that day I got the call. At the height of the pandemic, the in class training was condensed down to 3 days which was understood. The 2 individuals conducting the training were Carmella & Jason. I like the personality Carmella has. She can be casual but serious & call people out when they're not paying attention. I noticed that several times over the 3 days. Some just didnt take the training seriously.

Having now been in security for 13 years & counting, I am glad I quit on the spot from my previous employer to join Paladin

They will hire you and gave you some shifts and then when they need you then only call you even you already gave them your schedule and one of them Geff he is like use and throw. When he have his known then he will never think of others who save them when they need guards.

Work with several security guards companies and presently working in Paladin Security Toronto that I felt much better from the previous companies that I work.

From the training that they provide to the site where you work was excellent.

Any security firm that allows itself to be contracted out to a more than obviously corrupt certain mayor, must be lacking in morals, ethics, and integrity.

Most professional security company in Canada. Provides you a platform to enhance your career and monitoring your performance is a quotidian event. Especially, the director Paul and Manager of field operations Jay Bedi work with the team at ground level to address the issues. Employees get heard and appreciated/ rewarded for their virtuous performance irrespective of their colour, gender, nationality and age. Moreover, the mobile department is exceptionally good with a team of qualified and experienced field managers, zone supervisors, mobile officers and ARU’s.

Went to take someone to Emergency on Sunday August 2,2020. I was waiting outside all worried this Security gentleman by the name of Marek, who works for Paladin Security was so so nice by acknowledging I had been so worried and frustrated he showed, not only he’s there to do his job but also showed that he’s so caring and nice to patients, visitors etc. Just the way he talks to people makes people feel happy. What amazing service that young gentleman has. Great Customer Service for sure!

This review is based on your patrolling guard at (82 Buttonwood Avenue), the way he shouted at me was like me committed a crime, while unknowingly lighting a smoke in a public street, that I didn’t know was under private supervision. I have myself done security patrolling, but we were trained and well spoken to the general public.

The security guard that was driving the vehicle number 3000 on April 25 was extremely respectful and helpful. I appreciate those who take the time to speak to people like they are human unlike those other security guards who scream and yell for nothing. He was beyond kind and caring to everybody!

If work hard no one cares there is no appreciation for the employees. ARUs units all are useless to covered the sites clients are not impressed by paladin. But they demands on mobile patrol units

Causing traffic problems at Uber X parking lot in the airport, guards they don’t do the job properly, even they lots of empty parking spot but they are still closing the entrance of the parking, Uber drives had to wait on the street.
Guards are not wearing an obvious names tag, some guards are refusing to show their security guard license.
For sure there’s no body cares to solve any problem.

Avoid getting hired in this terrible company. They have 5 days unpaid training and a racist horrible instructor (sean). In the last day they will refuse to hire you without any reason and does not value the days you spend on their horrible training where instructor go through slides without having zero knowledge of what he is teaching. Height of unprofessionalism, racism.

Under paid staff, not willing to give raises to employees who are first responders on site, over worked and under appreciated. 14.26 an hour is the union minimum is absolutely absurd. McDonald’s employees make 15 an hour! Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Update: As one of Blah Blah Blah.you guys know your system puts people to work harder than mules, but out of desperation in this economy, they don't have a choice but to work for low wages and a night shift, or alternations between night and day shifts.

If you're looking for a security guard job, please do not apply in Paladin, you'll be miserable with no consistent hours, no permanent site, always on call, missing hours on payroll, unprofessional supervisors, and so on.
