Loved it, never been here before, I was there for an office meeting with 70 people and the view is outstanding, the food was tasty and the servers a pleasure to talk to

Gorgeous facility with an incredible lakefront view. Amazing food, attentive staff and large enough to accommodate concerts, conventions and weddings!

Palais Royale is a Toronto gem. From the planning to the event day, Jacqueline and the team were courteous, responsive and understanding of our needs, and above all, extremely professional. With beautiful views at every turn, the venue was spacious, well laid out, and beautifully decorated. The meal options were delicious, and service was efficient and mindful of guests with dietary restrictions, which was very thoughtful. Thank you, Palais Royale!

We had our wedding here this summer and have been in awe of our memories! With almost 300 guests all of them have been saying it's been an unforgettable event. Everything went as smoothly as a wedding could go due to the work of Christine, our event planner, Darell (Staff Manager), and technicians. We loved the pyrotechnics! We're very thankful to everyone. Two weeks prior to the wedding, we were all over the place but Christine kept us calm and sorted. She helped us carry out our seating chart and talk through our schedule. It made my husband and I feel very supported and relaxed. We're so happy we added on the full day event planner. She kept things on time and we were very impressed because ours was a cultural wedding but she knew the drill. Thank you, Christine! Finally, the venue is gorgeous and breath taking. A great place to get married in Downtown Toronto.

I would not personally go for the view, but the staff and facility make for a wonderful venue. Catering was very good and the facility is clearly well taken-care of.

Excellent Venue, but the DJ was poor.
Lots of young people, and no music for them, so they resort to drinking.

Coming to send regards to Palau's Royale and specifically to the staff member one of them is Mackey, perhaps, helped out a lot when I had an accident run into a kid and his dad riding a bike. The staff heartwarmingly brought out first aid kit and help resolve the accidents. They went far and beyond to help out people outside the venue. Kudos to them! Will consider having my wedding here!

I was hired by a client to DJ at this venue. Such a beautiful venue and it was a pleasure to work with such an amazing staff. Special shoutout to Rob for his professionalism, knowledge, and kindness.

The food here was incredible. Nice view of the lake. Parking is weird but we figured it out. Overall nice experience.

Venue is in a great location, and perfect for functions. Food was quite nice, servers were lovely and attentive. Some repairs to the facility are needed, such as locks on bathroom doors.

Having our wedding at Palais Royale was the best decision. From the moment we reached out to enquire, Chantelle was so informative, responsive and really trying to make things work for us from the very beginning. At our tasting we knew we made the right choice as the food and service was so good - and this was the same on our wedding day. The patio where we had our ceremony was perfect and the views were amazing. I really wish I could do it all over again!

Terrible service from staff. Very rude and condescending. Would never return or book this venue.

My wife and I had our wedding at Palais Royale and we got to work with Chantelle leading up to and on the big day. We hired Chantelle as a day-of coordinator and we highly recommend you do the same. She basically set up the entire event hall for us and it looked stunning. The rest of the staff at Palais were also great to work with. Everyone there was extremely kind and made sure all the guests were taken care of. The catering company they used was delicious as well, and managed to accommodate all of our guests weird and wonderful dietary restrictions. Good food was very important to me and my wife and they did not disappoint cooking for all 70 guests! You get the entire venue as opposed to a couple rooms and it is right on the waterfront. The views are stunning and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you again Chantelle and the whole Palais Royale team!

Went here for a wedding and everything seemed beautiful. Amazing view of the lake, friendly staff and the food was utter perfection. Where this place lost one star for me was only having two bartenders with a wedding of several hundred. At times it took over 20 minutes to get a drink. Usually when one of them probably went on a break or lunch or something there is only one bartender nobody came to help or fill in. I am not blaming the bar staff whatsoever. I believe the venue needs to be a little more on point for something like that. I would go as far as saying the bar situation would have been an utter disaster and been a very negative talking point of the night if the bar staff wasn't so incredible, fast and professional. These people were making drinks in the blink of an eye and made them very well. My table had espresso martinis rolling half the night and once our order was in I had those Martinis in my hand in under 30 seconds then you how to make every drink they were asked they knew where all the supplies were they needed my compliments to the poor stuff backup bombarded you guys handled it like bartending champions!

We had our wedding at Palais Royale a few days ago and we could not be happier. The venue is stunning, the food was delicious, and the entire team was professional and an absolute pleasure to work with in the months leading up to the event and executed everything flawlessly day-of. We are especially obsessed with our coordinator Lauren - Lauren is a total superstar and made the entire process fun and easy. Thank you Palais and thank you Lauren!

Five star treatment at Palais Royale. From the food & beverage service, late night food stations, gorgeous views of lake Ontario and big dance floor, the Palais Royale had everything we were looking for. This day wouldn't have been possible without our co-ordinator Chantelle, she is worth every penny! Chantelle is very professional, presents your options and provides recommendations. She is with you every step of the way through the planning, guest list, food menu and decor options. During the pandemic, we had to post-pone our wedding by a year, Chantelle was so positive and it really helped get us to the finish line. Amazing, efficient, Memorable! Words cannot describe how amazing the entire Palais Royale team are! Love the art at this venue, but the front appearance is very dismal. On the other hand from what little we saw of the interior it looked fabulous. Our kids had prom at this venue.

Great space, well maintained & clean. Parking lot is located between the eastbound and westbound lanes map it out first.

Amazing views and service.salmon on the tastes delicious. Ends of the roast meat taste a little funny but I like the wide variety of roast vegetables.

Hosted pre-wedding reception/Sangeet for our daughter earlier this month at Palais. Right from the time of initial venue visit for selection to actual event, we had nothing but positive experience.

Located right by the Lake Ontario, venue has amazing ambiance. Added to that, impeccable service by everyone took away a lot of stress that comes with organizing such an important event.

Food and drinks totally lived up to the expectations.guests enjoyed the variety in the menu and taste as well as the cocktails.

The best decision I have ever made was to have my wedding at Palais Royale! The service and hospitality made a Covid wedding x1000 better! Although we had to experience a much more intimate wedding, my whole experience with Chantelle and planning our Hindu ceremony was such a breeze! The day could not have been any better and all of my guests were in love with the outdoor ceremony views and the lunch, yum! If you are thinking about having your wedding here.just go ahead and don’t think twice.

We hosted our wedding reception at Palais Royale in October 2021 and had the most amazing experience! Our guests were raving about the food, views, and the amazing service! We could not have been happier. We worked with Chantelle, and she was such a gem! This was during the pandemic, and despite all of the uncertainty associated with restrictions and last minute changes, she always made us feel like we were in good hands and gave us the confidence that our reception would go off without a hitch (which it did!). She sat down with us multiple times to go over our timeline, set up, and made sure every last detail was perfect. We knew we wanted a venue with excellent food, accessible and convenient location for our guests to drive to, and professional service. After just one meeting at Palais Royale we knew we found our spot! We would highly recommend Palais Royale to anyone looking for a wedding location. We had our wedding at this venue and if you are looking for a venue for any event, look no further. This place is hands down the best place in Toronto. The view of the water is SPECTACULAR, the food is better than most Restaurants in the city and five star quality, and the coordinators are spectacular. Christy is heaven sent. We had our wedding during the pandemic, and she worked with us so well to give us the best possible wedding we could have with all the restrictions. They made all our wedding dreams come true. All of our guests couldn’t stop speaking about how nice the venue was and how good the food was.

We had our wedding here and can't say enough about Palais Royale! First of all, the team here led by Christy is unbelievable. Christy goes above and beyond preparing things for the day of and cares so much about the wedding as if it were her own. The staff on the day of the wedding were all such amazing hosts and true professionals. The food was incredible, and to top it all off the views from the venue are second to none in the city. Palais Royale is such a beautiful venue on its own, but it's Christy and her team that really push this venue over the top as the best. Our guests keep complimenting the venue, staff and food! We're so glad we had our wedding here and couldn't think of anywhere else we'd recommend to anyone for a their wedding or event! THANK YOU Palais Team!

We got married at Palais Royale in August 2021 and it was the most beautiful, joy-filled day, largely in part thanks to the wonderful staff at Palais Royale! Planning a wedding during any circumstance is often stressful and filled with emotion, and even more so during a global pandemic.

The staff at Palais were incredible and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a spectacular day. They were very accommodating when we had to push our wedding date out by a couple of months due to the pandemic restrictions. Our wedding coordinator, Chantelle, was amazing and really worked to understand our vision for the day and to help it come to life. We had the chance to have a delicious tasting on the terrace prior to the wedding, and we were blown away by how great the food and wine was (true restaurant quality!). Andrew, the head bartender, was so much fun and provided the best wine pairing recommendations.

The venue itself is spectacular, with a large and gorgeous patio that overlooks right onto Lake Ontario - the perfect backdrop to say 'I Do'! If you're looking for a wedding venue, stop right now and book at Palais. It's a definite 12/10 and a decision you won't regret.

We had a beautiful wedding at Palais Royale. Our wedding coordinator Rebecca was very attentive and even with COVID we felt that everyone at the venue was very flexible and considerate. We also got our sit down with the chef for our dinner where he came up with some really unique ideas for our dessert and we really appreciated that personal touch. Would recommend 20x over. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to, it was absolutely gorgeous and the views from the deck are just unmatched by anywhere else!

Very difficult location to get to. They need to improve on their parking. Parking is way too far from the venue. They need to put better signage that people coming from the east end or west end of the city know where they're going. I was attending a wedding there tonight an circle the place two times before I was able to find the parking lot, other guests had the same problem with traffic on the Lakeshore Boulevard being so busy this is very dangerous. The facility once we got inside was very beautiful and they did do a good job with staffing and presentation.

Our Wedding Venue- wouldn't have changed a THING! Best decision we made was choosing Palais Royale as our venue, and getting Chantelle as our day-of coordinator. She went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT and helped us through what could've been an extremely stressful time (we delayed one year due to the pandemic). Instead of it being stressful or challenging, she made it easy and fun. The whole staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet, and our guests had an incredible experience. Food is absolutely delicious. Service is unbeatable. Price is fair. Ballroom is stunning, the patio (where we had our ceremony) overlooking the water is breathtaking. On the actual day, Chantelle was so helpful and always appeared before or just as we needed her to answer a question, fix something, grab something or just reassure us that we are on track and everything is flowing smoothly! We had our wedding at Palais Royale in 2021 and it was beyond all our expectations! After having to postpone due to the pandemic, Chantel our point of contact worked with us tirelessly to ensure we were happy. They were very understanding of our situation and allowed us to be flexible with our wedding date within the pandemic. We were in constant contact back and forth over the rules and regulations during the pandemic. Finally the big day came and we couldn't be more happy! All staff at Palais Royal were fantastic, Chantal was our day of planner and she had everything down to a T. The wait staff and managers all made sure we had an amazing night! The food was phenomenal, the scenery was amazing and there is nothing we would change at all. Our wedding was perfect and we are so happy we chose Palais Royale. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Enjoyed a bridal shower here in August on the patio. Food and service better than I expected. And expectations were high. A gorgeous place for a summer event in sure inside is just as nice.

It was amazing! The staff was pleasant and diligent in their work, very friendly and definitely made the atmosphere memorable. 10/10 in my opinion and I would highly consider attending another event or even booking one myself. Thanks Guys!

This place has great views of the lake. We attended a weeding last time and it was a great party. The food was chosen by the groom and bride and was perfect. Flavourful options and great entertainment

I've had great experiences with Palais Royale. Great venue, friendly staff and amazing food:) Just did my parents' 25th wedding anniversary over there not too long ago. Everything ran smoothly and all of our guests admired the patio lake view so much! Very professional and respectful towards the new guidelines for gatherings. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering hosting an event!

As a wedding planner I have been lucky and privileged to be working with Palais Royale and their other venues for many years and I have to say that this is one of my favourite venues in Toronto to work with! Their staff is absolutely amazing, very helpful, friendly and accommodating, their food is one of the best food I tried in Toronto and they have so much variety. Their location and the view from the patio is just incredible, feels like a destination wedding.

I would highly recommend Palais Royale and their other venues to anyone who is looking to host a wedding, a social or a corporate event.

Toronto’s best venue! A gem right at Toronto’s beautiful lakefront. Food and service is exceptional!

We had our wedding at Palais Royale’s patio on August 21,2020. It was a beautiful location and placed a setting for our intimate wedding. Rebecca was our point of contact and she was so helpful and attentive to ensure we were on top of everything leading up to the wedding. To provide some colour, we changed our venue a month before our wedding due to COVID. Rebecca communicated with management on what we wanted to do and she worked well with us and our wedding planner specially when we asked for specific things to happen. She managed to get approval for a lot of things to what we envisioned our wedding to be. Aside from having a great point of contact, food was incredible and we only received positive feedback from our guest. Chef Jowow (no sure if this is the correct spelling of his name) listened to all our feedback during tasting and executed changes we requested on the day of our wedding. Food was flawless to say the least. As for audio, we had our family friend play the violin and we received praised from their long time AV person. He was able to help our family friend when all their equipment failed. We were so happy how everything turned out. Also, all our vendors praised Palais Royale’s AV system and the man behind it all. Staff were also incredible, Antonio, made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the night and all worked so seamlessly. All in all, Palais Royale is an incredible venue ran by wonderful people who are professional, passionate, and experienced. We can’t wait to come back here and celebrate other milestones ️️️

Palais Royale was absolutely outstanding from start to finish for our charity event. Jacqueline was our go-to and she was so easy going and incredible to deal with. I have to say it was an incredibly positive experience. The venue allowed for our staff to set up early, which aided with the overall smoothness of the event. The servers were wonderful with ensuring the food was set up on time. The food was absolutely amazing. Overall, I would 100% recommend this venue for all types of events!:)

One of the absolute best venues in town. The waterfront view is amazing. Picture a wedding with a gorgeous sun at dusk. Service great. Food, OMG. They have a resident chef that takes it very seriously!

Our family celebrated a 100th Birthday with a Luncheon / Afternoon Tea at Palais Royale last week with approximately 150 guests.

The venue, food and service was exceptional together with state-of-the art audio visual equipment / software. A special Thank-you to Jacqueline, our coordinator and Rob, Senior Technician, for accommodating all our requests.

The feedback our family received from family and friends was over the top.truly a 1st class venue and afternoon.

Palais Royale is a 'hidden gem' in Toronto, with a rich history dating back to the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. It is a complete and memorable venue to celebrate any special event.

We would highly recommend Palais Royale, and the entire team, for their organization, professionalism and genuine level of caring towards their guests. We were married at Palais (ceremony, cocktails and dinner) and from start to finish, the evening was extremely well run. From our initial meeting with Jocilea, and the year-long planning with Chantelle and their Chefs, to the day-of execution from Chantelle, Antonio and Katie, we always felt like we were in good hands all the way through the process.
I can't overstate their attention to detail, and how that translated into such great feedback from our guests; excellent food/drinks, coordinated event management, and service with a genuine smile.

We ended a week long celebrations of our Indian wedding with our Reception at Palais. We had initially signed with Palais because of the intimate single-event hall and the breath-taking waterfront deck. Over the year of planning, we realized the importance of having good vendors and we can truly say that Rebecca, our coordinator at Palais, made the organization and communication process a breeze for us. Rebecca you ROCK. Thanks for being so organized and available, you really stood out in the planning process across all of our events:). On the day of the Reception, Antonio and the team made sure everything ran smoothly with our 280 guests really well! The venue was set-up so nicely, we got the exact intimate feel that we wanted (even with the number of people we had). The chefs perfectly incorporated all of the comments from our food tasting to ensure that the Indian food on our Reception day catered to our tastes. The fire show that the bartenders put on had everything gasping. Our guests (and us) were truly in awe with not just the venue, but the hospitality that was prevalent through out the night. We had a BLAST! I highly recommend Palais if you want an amazing wedding!

Was a guest at a reception here and service was great! Bartenders were awesome. Views on a very large deck was beautiful. At night it was well lit.

We went july 11 for my birthday. I bought tickets in may for what i thought was the same dinner and dancing we enjoyed last year. The organizers failed on this as the lineup at the door seemed unneccessary for those with tickets. The lineup for the food was insane and not neccessary as the tickets should have included this as in the past. I was shocked to learn i had to pay 20$ for the worst value for food i have seenin some time. Greasy, slow service, cold and tiny portion for amount charged. The dancing was nice but the room frigid. I dont know if there was a dance club there or a proliferation of young girls with sugar daddies or customers.
I loved it last year and was so disappointed. Not sure if i would return.

Great views. Excellent audio visual set up and the food was great. One of the better halls I've been to in Toronto. They also have a parking lot.

Beautiful venue and conveniently located. Parking available on the opposite side of lakeshore, as well as extra pay parking in the parks by the lake.
Also, the 501 streetcar can bring you into Roncesvalles, and it is only a short walk across the bridge to the venue.

So, firstly, let me preface with the fact that I am an employee at the Palais Royale. Having served at many different venues, I have to say this is not only a one of a kind workplace, but a truly unique venue for any event, large or small.
The team they’ve accumulated over the years, from the AV department, to the BOH chefs and kitchen staff, is as dedicated and accommodating as it gets. Our servers at the FOH work as a cohesive team, which I believe greatly enhances the guest experience. Our sole mission is to make the guests feel welcome & comfortable.
The venue itself is so beautiful and I’m amazed by its versatility. It can be decorated so many different ways, wether inside the ballroom or outside on the gorgeous patio.
Food and bar are of course a huge priority and I’m always excited to see what the team has prepared. With dishes ranging from dry-aged steaks with hearty sauces for the meat lovers, to a delicately assembled and highly flavourful eggplant Parmesan for the vegetarians, the cuisine is inspired, satisfying and always exciting.
The same can be said about Palais’ delicious signature cocktails, including the new Queen Bee’s Knees with Empress Gin & Honey Rosemary Syrup.
I really hope guests at Palais can see the heartfelt work put into each aspect of the event they attend and will keep having reasons to visit us in the future!

Been a couple times as a guest to numerous functions and have always been impressed with the service, quality and the overall venue. Booked it for a personal event and was totally blown away with the level of service, quality of food and the care from each and every staff member.
