Worst receptionist I've ever seen she's a c u next Tuesday refuses to make appointments threw my health card at me

Horrible horrible drs office. Dr Nadia Quidwai does not follow up with her patients. She does not understand medications or mental health. I was sent to the hospital under her care and finally diagnosed properly. She will laugh at you and belittle you and your problems. She caused me to have a panic attack during a drs appt then prescribed me 2 Ativan for afterward and never followed up again.
I needed her to fill out an important letter for MTO, she filled it out wrong and charged me for it. If you continue reading reviews you will see she is a big problem.

The receptionists there are very unfriendly and incredibly unorganized. I am in shock this clinic is still open.

If anyone struggles with mental health I strongly encourage you to find help somewhere else and get the proper care you deserve.

UPDATE: she refuses to refer me to a psychiatrist when I have been diagnosed with bpd and am on antipsychotics that she knows nothing about.

Also forced me to do a video call outside and would not allow me to do it inside my parked car. Then said if I want my meds those are the rules?

Dr. Nadia Quidwai is the best doctor I've ever seen. She is so patient, never rushes you out, and ensures all health concerns are properly investigated and managed. Excellent doctor.

The front office have always been rude and unprofessional, the senior person always speaks with an assertive high pitched voice as if I am being scolded and punished because I continue to come here with my family, while the junior one is straight plain rude. I was accepting the rudeness because I liked Dr Arumugam, she used to be caring and a good listener (I am talking about pre-covid in person visits and some early COVID phone calls) Sadly she is making me think of moving on to another family doctor who actually cares about patients and not just about maximizing the money they can get from the patients, because in my last general check up appointment with her, she refused that i tell her about my headaches and asked me to arrange a new appointment by phone just to discuss that particular point, like seriously? ! So that she gets paid twice? !

When Dr Quidwai first opened her practice she was a patient and knowledgeable doctor. Over the years that has changed. I realize everyone is tired and overworked and that this is a serious problem with out medical system in Canada. That, however, is no reason to lie and treat you patients poorly. I came here for years from out of town because in my region it is extremely difficult to find a practitioner. By the end, she spent almost no time with me, lied to me on several occasions regarding my son, and her front office staff were hostile towards my wife and myself. It got to a point were you would come in for an appointment and you would be the one suggesting what tests and solutions you wanted. Also, as said in other reviews, Dr Quidwai is almost never in the office. I sincerely hope she can return to the way she was when she first started, as she used to be a great doctor.

I don’t recommend this place at all. It doesn’t feel like anyone truly cares what kind of health problems you are dealing with. ‘Careless’ is the last thing doctors should be. They are so quick to bypass you, my doctor literally calls and it’s like she’s in a rush to get off the phone. I swear you could ask for any prescription and she’ll give it just so she can move on to her next task. No follow ups on any health problems. And the receptionist is the same. If you don’t have compassion for people and their well being in the medical field then you’re in the wrong business.

One of the worst place I have been. The person at the reception was so rude that I decided to walk out of the clinic. If there was a head office for the rudest persons it would surely be the this place.

@Charu/Usha- what comes back is what you give. So it would be really nice if you can be a little considerate.

I really like Dr. Nadia Quidwai and Dr. Arnumagan, but their reception staff are absolutely the worst in the world. But for Dr. Nadia I would have kicked this Center out of our lives. Dr. Nadia you've got to do something about these people you have at the reception and those who pick up the phone. They are pretty much the worst examples of "good bedside manners" so important for medical services.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Arumugam since she opened her practice in Burlington and followed her to her current location in Oakville. Highly recommend her.

Doctor arumugam is a great doctor but this practice is not well managed. Since march 2020, all of the appt have been by phone. You have to call to indicate you want an appointment. Rarely anyone will pick up the phone and you have to listen to a long recording before the tone sounds to leave a message. What's especially irritating is that often the voicemail box is full so you cant even leave a message. There is no website or email. Other people have doctors that have an email address that is accessible even before covid times. I dont want to waste anyone's time. I just want to email to say hi, please call me back with an appt or hello, you are 2 h behind so can I reschedule? Carey was an excellent receptionist. Is she gone?

It just seems to me that dr arumugam's practice hasnt managed to keep up with the times. Once you schedule an appt, the doc will call you. However, please be advised that call will be 1 to 2 h behind schedule. I am really dissatisfied after waiting by the phone for so long. 30 minutes behind I can accommodate but 2 h! I can't even call and speak to a receptionist to find out what the heck is happening. Ugh. Not impressed arumugam. You have let things go downhill and it isnt fair to the patients.

The four stars are for Dr. Quidwai herself. Caring, takes time to talk to you. A warm person. I miss going to her in person. Her staff on the other hand, the one who answers the phone, is totally incompetent. I asked her to fax over very confidential information to my workplace, which is hospital records and I told her who to send it to. She sent it without a cover sheet, just my info and it went through three of my co-workers hands before ending up in the right place. If she used a cover sheet this would not have happened. What part about confidentiality does she not understand. If she worked for me she would be fired.

Usually people don't enjoy going to the doctors, but I always look forward to seeing Dr. Quidwai for whatever my ailments are. She respects the fact that I'm also a health care provider and isn't demeaning (like my previous experiences with other doctors), and we have great intellectual conversations discussing what the next appropriate steps for my complaints are. I've been searching for a new family doctor for years, and I'm thankful I'm able to have Dr. Quidwai as mine and my husbands.

Doctor at this clinic Dr. Karan Johor has zero ability to refer patients to specialists. Let’s them sit in pain and agony while he does nothing. Avoid this doctor, you’ll end up dealing with health issues for years where other doctors could guide you to a much better outcome.

Dr Quidwai is a great doctor I've seen her for a few years me and my children have always had a great experience with her

Terrible experience, the receptionists don't know what they are doing. Everyone gives different information everyone you call. I am in the process of changing my doctor now.

I had a terrible experience today, i was there for meet and greet with Dr. Nadia. I was having a paper from Government to fill and she refused to fill it complaining that it is not for my situation despite of my name is written on it and it was directed from Government and she asked for explanation letter from Government why they want it!
The other thing is that the owner came to solve the issue but he made it worsened, his justification was contracted with what others saying like it’s the first time to see this paper and i need to do research to know what to write and a lot of other justifications.
Finally Dr. Nadia refused to get me as her patient because i am asking her for what i cam for and said you’re not reasonable and demanding patient.
Finally, reception is not knowing what they are doing and never call you back for a response.
Never ever going back there and I transferred my file to another clinic.
