I went there with my girlfriend once, and I noticed they didn't offer my favorite boba flavor (yogurt mango slushie) on the menu. When I pointed it out, the owner was very understanding and charitable enough to make a yogurt mango slushie just for me, proving he and his business prioritize customer satisfaction.
It was my first time buying a bubble tea at Palgong Tea. It was an absolute great experience, the employees where very friendly, nice, and gave me some good advice of which macaroon was good and looking at there special offers. I really liked how modern, clean, and aesthetic. I would definitely recommend to someone else I know to go there. I enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake milk tea with grass jelly. I would definitely come again.
Honestly not a fan - unfortunate, the people super nice!
Tapioca was not good. Got a classic milk tea drink - was also not great. I might try again one day if I’m feeling I have $10 to potentially waste… unlikely though. Better luck with other bubble tea in the area.
Normally I like Palgong Tea (their other locations on Steeles and in Markham) but I was not happy when I visited this location this past Friday. They did NOT honour the advertised BOGO promotion (even though they had a sign promoting it). The Palgong Tea Website claims that you:
Buy ANY drink and get a: - Jasmine Green Milk Tea - Grapefruit Fruit Tea - Earl Grey Milk Tea - Muscat Grape Fruit Tea - or an Oolong Milk Tea FOR FREE (+ 1 topping for free)!
This location was insisting that I wasn’t able to purchase ANY drink to get a free one, but I had to buy one of the “free ones” (from the five listed), in order to get my free drink. I tried to tell them that the BOGO promo was that I could by ANY drink off their menu, but they insisted that wasn’t correct (even though it’s right there on their Instagram page). They told me “we are a franchise”. While that might be true, they shouldn’t be promoting the company BOGO Lunar NY promo if they aren’t willing to honour it. I walked out and took my business to another bubble tea shop (there are certainly many to choose from in the Yonge/Finch area).
I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner is kind and friendly and always recommends the best drinks. The prices are reasonable and taste great. If you’re in the neighborhood go try them.
Just a nice little place for drinks, I've been here multiple times already and every time the lady was nice. Not mentioning the pricing is cheaper than the coco right across the street.
I love this place, it has the best bubble tea! I went here ordering milk tea with my friend, and when I took a sip. It was absolutely delicious so I decided to post this review!
We were visiting TO this weekend and had Korean/Taiwanese tea at many places but this was our favourite. This location was amazing. The owners are so attentive and the drinks are delicious.
We were out for a walk Sunday in the neighborhood. Just happened across here and lately Bubble Tea has been the craving, so we stopped in. Let's talk about customer service. Nailed it, without trying. Friendly, generous and well, 'How to gain a regular customer 101' and then some.
Did not hurt we discovered The Social Blend Korean Macarons here either, which were high on the list of treats to try, but the Yonge/Eglington area never gets visited much. And there is so much more to try here, teas and Ice Cream etc.
Would be back today but alas, closed Mondays. So, see you Tuesday and onward!
(Oh, almost forgot, the Bubble Tea is probably the best we've had to date in an area where Bubble Tea is offered at every other shop it seems.)
This store is so clean and aesthetically pleasing! I had the coffee milk tea and black sugar milk tea and it was delicious. My friend had the taro milk tea and original which the staff suggested to her and she said it was very rich in flavour. They also use real fruit crushes for their fruit tea which is amazing. I am very happy with the experience here and will come back. Turns out they also sell ice cream, can't wait to come back to try that.
Best customer service of any bubble tea shops that I have been to, especially one of the workers named Anna. She was so patient and nice when I came in with a huge order.
We got coffee milk tea that tastes just like dong ling yeung and black sugar milk tea (almost as good as tiger sugar). Forgot to use the neighbourhood discount but we'll be back!
Friendly service, good selection of tea, tasted great. Had a very friendly opening bogo special. Also have a neighborhood deal giving 20% off for nearby postal codes. I'll be back!
