Great place if you want to have the authentic taste of Kerala. I love all their take out menus especially podichoru and beef fry. Food is expensive compared to the quantity you get. But it tastes like my home so I don't mind spending that money once in a while.

I'm not a big fan of Indian food but I liked it, the hygiene is good, the attention of the employees too, they serve the food very well and it's very craving my husband was delighted with the food

I bought kappa biryani today, sad to find no piece of meat in it, instead found 4 big bones. It's not the first time this happened. Also bought regular kappa, reached home and tasted it, there was no salt in it. Paying so expensively for every food item, I expect a little quality. Expect an improvement in future.

This takeout restaurant is well known for its delicious food and wide selection of groceries.

Palm valley should be one among the top south Asian grocery store that’s catered for Keralites. They have ample variety of vegetables and quite a bit of traditional snacks. The take-out food has turned from good to great to scrumptious over the years. The quality, quantity and consistency of takeout menu is superior as compared to the competitors. We ordered a party size food last month for 50 people. Everyone left the event satisfied and happy with what we served. Keep up the good work! Kudos to the chef and team.

Very expensive for products compared to nearby grocery stores. Also they put wrong price on there rack. I bought an item showing $2.99 on their rack and at the time of scanning it changes to $5.99. I asked them I don’t want it and the girl at the cash counter said she don’t know how to cancel. They are exploiting customers by over pricing the product.
Thank god still their are some better Indian stores nearby like super india.

Palm Valley offers some very tasty food and good portions. What I especially liked is their customer service and their willingness to suggest menu options based on meal type and number of people. Our friends LOVED their food. The cutlets disappeared in an instance and the mutton stew is to die for! Their beef fry is the best I've tasted so far and the fish biryani is good too.
I will definitely buy from them for future gatherings. Definitely recommend this place for tasty and authentic Kerala food.

Very Expensive but u wil get south indian especially kerala items.they have snacks take out, i bought 4 pazhampori today, very small (each 1.25). Some items price increases every week. Some items shows 1.99 then during billing it shows 2.29.when we ask about the same they will say incl tax.but the final bill doesnt show tax.i think they add tax to each item as individual prices. Last week i bought guava for 6.99 (3 guava), today same guava (2smaller size) costs 11.when i asked they said price increased lol. Staff behaves like they are giving free items to customers.not professional behaviour. Not recomended. I am not going to shop again from here,

Update: I have always been supporting palm valley. Today I had a bad experience. I was on que next to buy the food item. When I went to buy, the guys asked me to wait and called the customer behind me. Even though the customer and I said I was before them, he didn’t wanted to serve me. I was waiting on the line for a long time, I was very happy to be in palm valley, but this guy he treated me like I’m no one, when they will understand I’m one of their customers. This is not the first time he treats me like this. I wasn’t mad, I was sad.

We had a 4 days camp @ Cambridge and these guys delivered good food in the camp. Almost 60 people were 101% satisfied in the food.

We had a summer camp for four days and booked food from here, the food was totally awesome. The food was delivered with at most care and was exceptionally good. Good work team and keep the good work ahead!

My personal favourite was the mutton Biryani. The other dishes were ghee rice and chicken roast, fish biryani, appam and chicken stew and kerala Sadya with ada pradhaman. Everything was really tasty and the whole team enjoyed it. Definitely recommend to the people in the area and for catering services.

We ordered from this place for our camping at Cambridge (Camp Shalom) for a group of 60 people. The food was good and tasty. We had mutton stew and appam, chicken biriyani, fish biriyani, mutton biriyani, ghee rice and chicken roast, and Kerala sadhya. Except for the fish biriyani having less fish pieces than expected, loved all the items.

Would highly recommend this place for malayalees and for anyone who would want to try out good Kerala (South Indian) food.

The flavours of the food was good, but grossly overpriced and antonymously generous if you know what i mean.
I got curried chicken with puri, and the food was 'good' but so expensive for such a small portion size.no veggies in the sauce, just two very small pieces of chicken and sauce for $10.can find similar cuisine for better prices in the same area.

Good South Indian food and grocery store. You can find almost anything here. They serve Food as well. Good quality and price. P. S. Need to work on customer service. Overall the best place for South Indian food and groceries.

The store is all good but personally I am not a fan of a store where the store it self smells like food. It's a nice decent store for keralites and definitely for all Indian who miss South Indian food.

One of the worse and over priced shop I have been to. Waste of money to buy things from there. Teaching us how to eat the food we ordered rather than accepting mistakes on who they cook. Haven't learned their mistakes by getting closed for more than 2 months stating renovations. Most of their items available at half the price they charge at Indian stores close by.

Great store to get south Indian, especially Kerala supplies. It has a catering division as well. The food quality varies quite a bit. It's exceptional at times and can be very disappointing at others

We brought mutton roast from plam valley today evening for night party. It was too nasty. It spoiled the entire party.

Bought chicken biryani today and it was the worst i ever had. Chicken was days old and dry. Had similar experience months before. Never recommend to anyone if you are concerned about your health

We ordered Mutton Biryani and Chicken Biryani. Both were very good. The portion size was much better than most other places. The Biryani also did not have the overpowering taste/smell of kewra essence. I personally don't like too spicy food, so it was to my liking. The price of the mutton biryani $14 was really worth, since it had good enough pieces of mutton. Between Mutton and Chicken, my favorite was Mutton. I would have preferred a few more pieces of chicken in the Chicken Biryani. We will definitely buy our next biryani from here.

I liked the place, the only issue was most of the grocery item DID NOT had price displayed and because of that i didn’t take many of the items that i felt like having. This same issue happened to me when i went to the store around 4-5 months back.

Dissatisfied by their service. I have ordered food through uber eats and I did a mistake when I entered the number of quantities. Quickly I report that with the Uber eats app and they told me to contact @palmvalley which I did within minutes after I made the order. But when I contacted them they told me that the order is already on its way and they can't do anything, but when I checked the order status in the app it was shown like "the restaurant is preparing your order". They lied to me about that the order is left the restaurant.
I never had such an experience from any restaurant like this, very terrible.

Food is good! Biriyani party pack is right on budget and is very close to the authentic kerala flavor. The only minor issue that I have is the delay in getting the food ready.it’s recommended you call and order well in advance.

We just moved from Toronto and was looking for something more homely. This is the place amazing flavoured food. Everything here reminds me of back home. The owner Shibu was very friendly. Gladyson was very helpful and gave an excellent service. My go to place.

Chicken Biriyani was not worth the price lacked flavour, also they used artificial rose essence, and the rice lacked masala it was also a bit on the oily side. Wasn't satisfied at all. Went there for a second time to try and they have closed takeout for two weeks.

They have the best Beef Fry that you can ask for. And it’s consistently good every single time. They have a lot of other curries which looks yummy but sinfully floating in oil. I however stick to the beef fry every time. They also have a good amount of Malayali grocery items which are otherwise not available in other Indian stores.

Went to Palm valley with friends to experience the authentic Kerala food. We tried mutton biriyani, BDF and pothichoru. All of these dishes were amazing. All the credits goes to Mr. Manu, the chef who is good at what he is doing. If someone craving for typical South Indian food, this is a must visit place. They have a grocery store inside it- so you can have a wholesome kerala grocery + takeout experience

Palm valley is an oasis of Malayalee food in Canada! We ordered catering from them and the food was absolutely delectable. The guests loved it and enquired where we got the food!
The service is wonderful and they're some of the friendliest people you'll meet!

AWSM taste for all the items that we have tried chicken & kappa biryani, pothichoru, beef fry and fish curry + big quantities. So far this is tastiest biriyani and pothichoru we had in Ontario.

Today from Mississauga, we drove to Palm Valley Catering Service to buy lunch for Onam Sadhya. Each and every thing was very delicious. We all enjoyed it and we will definitely buy food from here in future

Came all the way from North Bay to Cambridge with my friends. We loved Beef Dry Fry which were amazing with lots of Kerala flavour.
The food was delicious especially the POTHICHORU and the beef Ulathiyath. "Chef MANU is nothing short from amazing! "

If you are a Canadian and really loves to experiment with South Indian food, then look no more. Come to Palm valley and order your sounth Indian dish from the available choices. By specifying South Indian, experience the food preferred by The Mallus of Kerala. The options begin with evr famous biriyani and for me personally the banana leaf bundled rice meals. That would definitely be a different experience for the first time triers and a take back to home feel for the malayalees. You could order something specific for your southern side specific Indian Quisines, but just make sure to call the shop before you decide on something you want to try. I bought Cassava (kappa) Biriyani for last few weekends because we like the traditional food and we were soo disappointed because there was huge pieces of cassava in it, which is hard to eat and there was full of bones with no meat at all. The taste was good but no quality at all. We bought meat curries which was full of oil dripping from it. The customers have already complained about this issues before and they never took an action. We pay money for low quality of food. Finally, You guys should also try to check the low rating reviews rather than just answering to 5 star ratings to improve your service.

A good groceries and takeout place for South Indian, North Indian items. Takeout is always busy, Biryani is the special here. Groceries store is not bad, a little bit congested can be better if well organized and arranged items. Prices are reasonable.
