Please don’t go there. The clinic supervisor, as she introduced herself, was very rude and refused to let us talk to the clinic manager.
The way she treated a new comer orthopedic surgeon, who came to do his medical exam, was unprofessional and unacceptable. Her excuse was he didn't have an appointment.
The way she was talking to him as if he was not a human and not worthy of her time or service.

I booked an appointment at 7: 30 am for my father's immigration medical examination and received timely reminders. However when we went to the location there was only one person and we were made to wait for an hour. The nurse practitioner arrived at 8: 30 and conducted the examination. The people are good, polite and professional. Faith, the receptionist was very courteous and Tara, the nurse practitioner was very understanding. However their system of taking the appointments early in the morning and not preparing to serve is very disappointing.
They also did not have the x-ray machine working on Mondays and we were asked to go to another location 25 kms away which was very inconvenient.

What a chic and neatly organized clinic. From the time entered, was professionally handled by the front office, nurse and the doctor. In and out in no time. Fabulous stuff!

Booking was very easy lots of slots available. All tests were done at same place. Easy in and easy go. Highly recommend

I was completely disappointed when I got to the Shepard location and they told me I had to go to another location to get the X-ray. When I booked (a month prior to the appointment) they did not tell me the X-ray machine was not available on Thursdays. They also called me to confirm the appointment the night before and never mentioned this. I was only told when I got to the location that I had to go to another location for the X-ray. When I got to the other location, they made me wait over 45 minutes because I didn’t have an appointment.

This process was discouraging and unorganised.

I had a very comfortable experience during my medical examination. Online booking appointment was easy, slots were easily available. No waiting time at the clinic. Everything except X-ray was over in less than an hour. Staff was helpful.
Doctor Avani Mehta is gem of a medical professional. She put me at ease instantly with her kind words and answered all my queries.
I would recommend everyone to go to this clinic for their medical exams.
It would have been icing on the cake if X-ray facility were available in the same building.
Also, please speed up the time to send the reports to IRCC. Mine took 15 days.

Even though they text and call you to confirm your appointment time, their appointment system is just not working. Been waiting for an extra hour.

Visited this place for PR medicals of our 16months old baby. Very helpful staff at the reception. Doctor took good care of the baby and examined her patiently. Overall excellent location.

Extremely well-organized from even before attending an appointment; the website is excellent and has a straightforward UI and it’s beyond easy to make an appointment and complete the necessary steps without any hassle. Within the examination time, the staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to address any questions or concerns, all while going ahead with the process and splendidly collecting the necessary information. The examinations before the doctor’s presence are very quick and require little to no difficulties, but the staff’s immensely helpful demeanour doesn’t do anything but make the procedure even more stress-reducing and tranquil. As for when the examination with the doctor is, the procedure is just as organized and facilitated through a very modern and clean environment. I’m glad to be over with our process here, but with how spectacular every aspect was, I wouldn’t pass the opportunity to go through here had I not done it already. Thanks a ton for bringing such a wonderful experience to a greatly stressful situation.:)

I called 3 times in a single day to get an update about the medical examination report. But the customer people were looking for excuses to NOT help. Totally wasted my time! Now I need to physically visit the clinic in Scarborough to get the updates! The worst experience I had in Canada.

This was my first time to booked appointment in here, I'm usually went to finch but just find out this location more near so i booked it. The staff very helpful n doctor was good. Just a little bit nervous n stress because just me in there, immigration and the elevator at that time not working so i have to took stairs.

Lower cost as compared to other affiliated physicians in the Scarborough area. The service was fast and the staff are courteous. I also like that they do follow-ups. However, I was referred to an X-ray clinic not within the building and they charged $50. Kindly update your website.

This is my second visit there. They were quick and efficient in attending to me right from the receptionist/nurse to the wonderful doctor. I would recommend if need be.

My experience with my mother was very pleasant from start to finish. The staff and Dr. Avni Metha were super helpful and efficient. My mother dosent speak and understand English so well but they allow me to be with my mother during her examination as interpreter and to explain. My experience was very pleasant from start to finish. The staff were super helpful and efficient. I'm afraid of needles and the nurse practitioner was understanding and careful to ensure it didn't hurt.

The site is easy to book, the environment is clean and tidy, and the doctors and staff are patient and gentle.

Very respectful staff and notification to make sure clients are reminded for their appointments.

Really nice and professional nurses and doctors. I especially love how sufficient they are with everything! I am finished with everything within an hour while to be honest I was expecting much longer wait time. Definitely recommend this location for your PR medical test!

From the booking of the appointment to the medical check up, everyone was friendly and helpful. The appointment went smoothly and everything was explained thoroughly. We were not treated as if we were just a number but with patience and courtesy.

If you live in Toronto’s east end then this is a good location to go to for your immigration medical exam (IME). However, you will have to go to another location to do the chest x-ray for an additional $50 to the listed fees.

The booking procedure was easy and efficient but there is no “family booking” option so each member of the family has to have their own booking. On the day of our appointments last week I was pleased to see that the waiting room was clear and the persons at the reception desk found our bookings right away. We then got taken to a room where we could fill out the forms comfortably. The staff were very attentive and were on the ball with making sure we knew how to fill everything out and confirming if our information was correct. They were pretty courteous as well so I was pleased with the customer service.

The other little things I noticed were that the entire space was clean and tidy, especially the bathroom However, I did feel like the AC was off in the room we were in while the rest of the building was at a nice cool temperature.

Our weights, heights, blood pressures, and vision checks were done by the staff, which may not be medical professionals, but for those tasks you really don’t need to be. The staff also gave us clear directions for what to do to get our urine samples, which was easy enough to do. That didn’t leave much for the doctor to do so our interactions with him were brief. He checked our lungs and took our blood samples. He was just as courteous as the staff and easy to talk to. Also answered all our questions and told us about the next steps in terms of him submitting our reports to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

I was definitely pleased with the service and the price but having to go to Markham-Lawrence X-Ray & Ultrasound to do the chest x-ray at an extra cost did detract from the experience. Would be better if everything could be done at one location with one payment.

Excellent service when you go to the Birchmount- Sheppard location however you have to travel another 10 km or so to get the X- ray done. I acknowledge the service provided Dr Avani and crew.

Giving a 3-star because of the service I got from the clinic where I went to take the X-ray. Staff here have very poor customer service and communication skills. Didn't explain me what to do properly, but commenting "I don't want to repeat " while taking the X-ray again and again.

My experience was very good. The staff was very courteous and professional. My family was treated very well. The process flowed quickly, though it took about 2 hours to do everything. All services were carried out in the same location, except for the X-ray which wasn't very far away. I highly recommend this place.

I'm writing this review knowing that the COVID 19 pandemic is placing a strain on healthcare and wait times will be longer than normal. Please be patient with the staff as they are trying to get through a long list of patients and have 1 doctor on site.

That said, expect the process to be several hours - for me, it was about 3 hours of waiting + exam time. My appointment was scheduled for 10: 30AM and I saw the doctor around 1: 15PM. The waiting room follows COVID guidelines for spacing (or at least tries to), so seating is every-other chair. There was not enough space for everyone to sit, so some of us ended up standing for a good amount of time in the hallway outside the waiting room. Staff will call you up at different times to verify information and do pre-assessment vitals. Again, be patient, as you will be spending the majority of your time waiting. When I finally saw the doctor, she was very nice and welcoming. The assessment and blood-draw were painless and took about 10-15 minutes.

The x-ray clinic is at a different location, so give yourself another 30 minutes for driving, and 30-45 minutes for waiting and the x-ray itself. Parking is validated.

Staff overall were professional and helpful. They try to process patients efficiently and often made sure to invite people standing to sit down as soon as a seat opened up.

I took off 2 stars because they state upfront that the process will take up to 2 hours, but ended up being a bit more. Additionally, the seating situation in the waiting room was a bit disorganized, and several times people (not in the same party) were sitting too close to each other and not following distancing protocol. I was also unhappy that for the urine test, we were given plastic cups that one would usually see in a restaurant for holding condiments or salsa. Perhaps there is a shortage of normal plastic containers? I do wish that the X-ray was in the same building, but this is not the fault of anybody.

Friendly reminder: be patient, courteous to staff and other patrons, and follow all health protocol!

Nice place. The ladies at the front desk are polite and did a good job. I only wish the x-ray should not have been done somewhere else.

Just a suggestion, that indeed getting x-ray done in the same building and/or one who receives debit payments would be an excellent consideration in the near future, for this site.
