It's delicious, really delicious. The noodle is absolutely gorgeous. The menu is in Chinese - English, but that's ok. We are in Chinatown.

Absolutely delicious popcorn chicken! Perfectly fried and flavourful. Staff is super helpful as well. Altogether a favourite spot when I'm in the neighbourhood

This was my first time to try their grilled fish in spicy sauce and it was amazing! Definitely try this restaurant out for your fix of Chinese food!

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to write one here because I thought their current rating of 3.3 is unfair. I would give it a 4.3 for sure.
The Chinese style bbq fish is great! It is authentic and delicious, just like what you would get in China. We got the tilapia and medium-spicy.
For people from Canada with a western pallet, I would recommend asking for the low-spicy, because the medium was pretty darn hot, even for a guy that usually eats super spicy food. On top of that add some celtuce (on the menu it had an improperly translated name, like hard lettuce or something, the Chinese is called woju) AND add some tofu for sure (dofu pi). Add a couple other things you like and you're golden.
Typical Chinese style service. Not super out of their way to help, but they are friendly, and give a friendly wave and the waiter comes right over. I actually prefer this type of service because they are not hovering around you all the time.
I saw the waiter serving another table that only spoke English and I could tell they were a bit shy to communicate in English. So I understand why some local people think the service is not so great. Just order some fish with 4 or 5 extra veggies (for 2 people 4 is fine) and you'll be good. If you are still eating the fish after 20 mins the soup will start to over boil and everything will get overcooked so you need to ask your waiter to turn the heat off.
Pricing is SUPER fair for the fish. I think other people saying it is not fairly priced are getting dishes like frog and stuff. This is a BBQ fish place that specializes in fish. Get the fish!
I didn't give a higher rating because they didn't have Tsingtao beer and I do wish they had some better kinds of fish than the three types they have available. I'd even be willing to pay more for other types of fish.

Been here 3 times and the food hits the spot every time. First two visits tried the specialty dishes and stir fry’s. On my last visit I tried the special fish hot pot, everything was good on all 3 visits. Def recommend!

The most HORRENDOUS restaurant I’ve ever seen with SO unprofessional staff members! Their only answer is “3-5” minutes, when in fact you’re waiting more than half an hour! Furthermore, they even can’t complete the order properly, poor packaging and so on! Long story short, this place is horrible I would NEVER suggest this restaurant to anyone at all! Even this 1 star is too much for you, guys!

Amazing food! Been there quite a few times and they never disappoint. Food is always spectacular, their service is fast and friendly and the ambience is great as well. Almost every item on their menu is really good so can't pick a favourite! It's also easily accessible by TTC which makes it a really convenient place to go to.
My friends and I rate Papa Spicy as one of our top food spots in Chinatown and it looks like it's going to hold that spot for a long time!
