Paradigm Martial Arts

We have been very happy with Paradigm. About a year ago, we signed up our quite daughter, hoping to be able to get her out of her shell and give her more confidence. She has really enjoyed the classes, and we will be signing up our youngest as well!
Note: When initially signing up our eldest I was a little wary about the price in comparison to other clubs. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the uniform, testing fees, and belts are all included in the price.

The academy has been warm and welcoming for my son. He is absolutely loving it. Coaching staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I was seeing how much my son enjoys it I signed up myself.

I literally have nothing bad to say and would highly reccomend Paradigm to anyone interested in Jiu Jitsu within the area.

My son has been attending since covid. Started on line and loved it and has never looked back…what I love about this place is the coaches! Before one of the in house competitions, coach Jay asked the kids “is winning important”? All of them say no (as they are now trained to do in schools) …coach Jay says “winning is absolutely important! …it’s not the only thing, but it’s definitely important…we always want to win, but if we lose we learn from that experience” …it’s refreshing to see someone with the right mentality working with my son! And all the coaches share this mentality…my son is a better student since attending, and I believe a better person, as the coaches are teaching life lessons as well. If you aren’t sure about this place, try it out! You and your child won’t be disappointed. Thank you coaches Jay kyle and cam…special shout out to coach Graham too! Get better soon pal

We just recently joined and my two girls are absolutely loving it! THey look forward to meeting twice a week and I love how structured it is. I also love the respect part!

My son looks forward to his classes every week the couches are amazing and make it so fun for the kids. These classes have improved my sons patience, I highly recommend this place!

This place is awesome! Being female, I had a lot of questions and concerns but I'm glad I kept on coming. The coaches are fantastic and I feel very comfortable asking questions or voicing my concerns. I made new friends and honestly feel comfortable with literally everyone on the mats. The people that come here are really nice and you get the feeling everyone truly wants to be there. I look forward to coming to every lesson. We are new in town and thought that this is a great opportunity for our son (10.5) to get to know other kids and get out of his shell. I can say with great confidence that my son is enjoying Paradigm very much! He comes home after the training, with a huge smile on his face, sharing about his accomplishments during the training and in general his mood is very lifted. We used to go to a different place in Toronto, and he was never so excited before about the training. Paradigm has a great team, with trainers actually caring about the kids. I would highly recommend Paradigm!

We are new to the area and I can honestly that WE LOVE THIS PLACE!
Our little guy has adjusted well to the program and we have seen progress in his balance, attitude and confidence in such a short period of time. Thanks to all the coaches for making this place feel very welcoming. You are all so amazing with these kids. We watch our sons class on Zoom every Monday & Wednesday, and during every single class my heart lights up when I hear those Ninja-kids yell "YES I CAN" and when they recite the student creed. We love it, to say the least:)

My son has o ly been to approx 6 classes and he is already showing signs of better listening and helping at home. He loves going to class and has asked me if he can go more then twice a week. My son still has alot to learn and im confident martial arts will help.

The paradigm Coaches are so dedicated. I can't say enough good thing about coach Jay & Kyle and all the assistant. They care so much about their students, my grandson suppleness and self esteem grows with every lessons.

The staff and the coaches at Paradigm Martial art are absolutely amazing.

The coaches are wonderful, we love the approach they take with the kids. If you are looking for to work on focus, fitness and discipline in a fun and positive environment this is the place!

Our child has been attending the Ninja level class for a month now, and absolutely loves it. Staff are friendly, return communication in a timely manner and we have been very impressed with their COVID procedures to ensure the kids and staff are safe.

My daughter has been going to the class for a month now and loves every bit of it. I see her eagerness to go as she gets a sense of accomplishment. The coaches are super nice and fun and make each child feel valued, strong and teach them discipline the right way.
I am glad we enrolled and made this decision… can’t wait for enrolling my son next year when he turns 4.

The summer camp program was wonderful. Kids 6 and 9 loved every day and were so happy to be there. The staff was kind, attentive and welcoming. It's a great environment!

My sons have attended two weeks of camp this summer and both have really enjoyed it. The paradigm team has done a great job offering fun activities while also teaching strategies about the importance of communicating in an effective manner with peers. My boys often shared the lessons learned at home and reinforced them with each other when they are not getting along. The strategies also built on their confidence and comfort in social settings. We have registered both of them in the evening martial arts classes starting in the fall and they are both very excited!
