The areas surrounding the beach are great. Park for the kids, walking and jogging paths, paid parking area. But the beach per se is not great.

As off September 2023 parking cost is $10 for 3 hours // and $20 whole day

Be aware that you can't consume alcohol on the beach, nor do BBQ, or fire pits.
There are by law officers walking around constantly

Nice little gem off Bayly and Salem area. Beach shore, park, playground and paid parking available. Path for bike, skate, walk/run. Bring beach chairs and relax in the sun and bathe at Lake Ontario in Ajax. Ice cream truck comes around too.
Dog friendly.

Worse beach ever! Like my experience was good at the actually beach because we were doing baptisms But y'all need to have parking meters so people know that we have to pay for parking! Signs are too small to notice that pay parking is required. Ending off a great experience with a parking violation wasn't fun! Do better!

Ajax's hidden treasure. Remember to register for parking if you live here. Prepare to pay for parking if you don't live here or don't register.

Lovely beach. Plenty of spots to sit down under the trees and next to the water. Not sure if it was just us but felt the beach was a lot cleaner in June than it was in Sep of last year

Parked at the Paradise Beach Park and went east, along the William Parish Trail to the Lakeside Waterfront Park. Took the shore line to east further and all the way back. It was about 7km. It was a weekend, there were quite some bikers along the way. Not much shade, cooler with lake breeze near the water. Best of all, no mosquitos.

Only issue is it's a stoney beach, town of ajax needs to remove and substitute with sand and it's overcrowded with large ethnic groups

Great place to walk around on a chilly or hot afternoon. Well-maintained and dosen't have much trash around. The beach is quiet and not too populated with people. There is a trail nearby so you can enjoy something else too.

A perfect place to bring someone you like but you didn't tell him/her yet. Just sitting there waiting for the sunset, he/she will understand what you trying to say without you saying anything.

Sadly this quiet uncrowded spot has been invaded by large ethic groups (typically Indian and Syrian from North Durham region) with no sense of shared space or beach etiquette. Groups of 20-40+ people take over large sections of the park and beach, erect tents on the grass and roast goats and other atypical cruisine on fires on the beach. The later is illegal, yet the bylaw officers are too frighten by size of the groups or intimidated by the possibility of being accused of bias to enforce the rules. I've personally witnessed such fires 3 times in the last 16 mths.and there have reports of many more incidents. And even though the park has public washrooms, the closer bushes are employed for the same function and once these groups leave there is garbage everywhere and often the remanence of still smoldering fires. I get there can be cultural and language barriers, but this behaviour should be sanctioned the size of parties limited Yet these groups - made up ofen, women and children, simply bully the local residents and law enforcement officers to let them do what they want. The bottom line, is that when not overcrowded and taken over by large family or cultural parties, this is an ok park, but it can go from a 4 star to 1 star location very quickly and Ajax bylaw just turns a blind eye.

Nice beach. Less crowded. It has parking and washroom facility. Perfect for jogging and biking in summer or fall. You will find very beautiful landscapes. Paradise Beach is located in the community of Ajax just off the shore of Lake Ontario. This beach was an important cottage destination for upper-class Torontonians in the 1920s. Some famous figures that lived in the community are T. P. Loblaw and artist Florence Helena McGillivray. Today the beach is a great place for swimming and fishing. There are volleyball courts, picnic areas, and a beautiful lakeside boardwalk for biking, running, and walking. Bird watching in the area is reputed to be fantastic, as are the neighbourhood restaurants.
