Paradise Ice Cream Parlour

This place was great a few years back. Seems to be new owners now and not the same quality. Would highly recommend a trip to Dairy Queen in medowlands.

Here is another little hidden treasure for people wanting to cool off or just enjoy a great ice cream cone. The people that run the place are super friendly and love seeing people enjoying their products. They have a huge selection of ice cream and toppings. Even tiger tail that I find hard to get. I had a scoop of tiger tail and a scoop of Spiderman. Awesome choices. And they don't give a tiny scoop, they are old school and give you a huge scoop every time. Worth the visit and definitely I'm going back soon. Lol maybe today. Just thought I'd add some pics to let you see the 100 flavors and my delicious treat of the day.

Friendly staff and a great offering of sweets! They have a wide variety of ice cream flavours, of course. However they also have a huge selection of sundae toppers (candy, cookies, chocolates, etc.) and some creative cone/waffle bowl options for their ice cream. On top of that, they have milkshakes, smoothies, Slush Puppies (slushies beverages with a myriad of fruity flavouring syrups to choose from) and snacks like Jamaican beef patties and pizza pockets.

Response to owner below: my complaint isn’t the size of the kiddie cone, it’s the size of the single. It’s the same size as the kiddie cone. (My daughter had started eating her kiddie cone, and my single was the same size) I love having you guys and you’re local to me which is why we chose to visit your establishment. As for the ownership change, I’m not in the habit of asking a place who owns them and if it has changed hands, so I don’t know how this would be relevant to my comments. Perhaps a takeaway from this is to have a diagram of the scoop sizes so that customers can make informed decisions and know what to expect.

April 2023 Update: unfortunately they’ve started to skimp out. Somehow my single scoop at almost twice the price was the same size as my kids “kiddie cone”. It wasn’t put “into” the cone and just sat on top. My cookies and crème also tasted like banana. (Last photo for size comparison in 2023)

Its pretty hard to screw up ice-cream. Its such a nice little local shop and I love taking my kids here.because of covid there isn't really any place to eat it except the parking lot. Some picnic tables in the grass would be fantastic but I imagine its a liability/who cleans it etc.

Overall, 5 stars. I'm glad to have it in our neighbourhood!

Great selection of ice creams and other cold treats. Unfortunately, under the new management, the scoop sizes are way smaller for the same price. Small scoop is equal to what someone would think a kiddie scoop would be. I recommend that the owners either lower the price of the scoops to match the quantity or increase the scoop sizes. I will not be coming here again.

Great service & fresh ice cream that is always creamy and the perfect temp! I really enjoy the variety of flavours but mint chip and cotton go are my favs! Thanks for a wonderful ice cream stop! ️

Great ice cream, affordable prices. So many options. Staff was very patient with explaining what ingredients was in each ice cream to me. Would recommend!

I’ve gone in there only a couple times, very popular place in the summer but I have a hard time going there when they are open. When do you guys open this year?

Every time I have went to this place they have been closed even though on Google they have said that they are open. I have called every time I have wanted to go and they never answer. They never have the right time on Google and when I checked the door they have a new time every week. Bad customer service!

The owner is very nice and they have variety of awesome flavours.it was my first time and will come back for sure!

I really enjoy their sundaes, a regular treat for my son and I. Only problem I have encountered twice is through ordering through an app and having my order cancelled due to store closure although within hours of operation.

Hours online say they are open but they are “temporarily closed” with a sign saying back in March. They were not open
