Great company with an amazing instructor by the name of Martin Caldwell whom is very educational and keeps the audience engaged in exciting way.

This was a simple, precise and articulated class with a good delivery by the instructor. She spoke with passion and with examples to explain further.

Priyanka is one of the worst lady in paragon I used to work in paragon she is nothing but act like CEO of the company.she was very bad in her attitude work behaviour.idk what she is doing there stil I gave her a lot respect.she didn’t deserve anything. I have very bad experience just because of that lady.

It is sad, but it is true. One of my relatives worked for a short time, before he was booted for actions that he did not do. It is a company that will use you and throw you out the door, once you are not useful to them. SHAME ON YOU, PARAGON SECURITY!

Straight away got my details and email address on iPad and all my covid and status in canada and then they told me we are not hiring…we will fire you after 2-3 days.
So beware i was a new candidate without experience.

Worst company to work. Doesn’t pay good. Don’t respect the workers. Patrol supervisors behave like they are police officers and they will never pick up the call when needed.

Why put new security in supervisor when they cannot read well. Or speak English properly this goes to 4 king street west before her there was such a nice security god bless them remove her and get someone with experience

As a person with a invisible disability a member of the public who asks to see paragon security guard license card. I have had everything from refuses to public humiliation and very aggressive guards demanded my ID. Public has the right to see license card and security guard in Ontario are required to carry it on them and show to any member of the public under PSISA.

I have been working for Paragon Security Company since December 2021 and have been working with Siva Mahendran since I started working with Paragon. I have worked with a few managers in my lifetime but Siva Mahendran has been the best mentor I had. He has all the qualities a management personnel should hold.
He would go to all of us making sure we are doing okay, if we are in need of anything, and has always been concerned for our wellbeing.
He is sympathetic, people person, team player. He also runs a tight shifts and get things done. People enjoy working with him.
I want to thank him for guiding me and others to see the bigger picture and mentoring us to shoot a higher level.
I wish him all the best and hope to see him in a position to have a bigger impact on management and movement of the company.

THE GUARDS OF PARAGON USE TO DRINK ALCHOHAL ON SITE INCLUDING SUPERVISOR. Paragon is very unprofessional with horrible business practice. For various reasons, we need to change service provider. Even after sharing the prove they are not taking action against those security guards.very bad service.they are ignoring the evidence.they kick employee who are loyal not even giving shift.not even security guards even Supervisor also drinks alcohol with guards. If you complaint to them with evidence they are not gonna give you any response.

Unbelievable and extremely rude experience in 33 Bay St condo with the weekend guards you need to train your employees how to handle customer service with respect useless company

Never contract paragon for condominium services. Or work for them.staff is immature just a bunch of kids who have no knowledge of business or customer service. Always judging tenants by their looks.upper management doesn't do a proper investigation if any internal matter occurs.superiors always try to find dings on employees to file a disciplinary report to make themselves look good. Lots of mistakes are made daily that property managers don't know about.if you are a potential client save your buck and find a smaller company that will treat you like gold. If you are a potential employee use paragon to build the experience then move to another company.

Treats their employees like trash and doesnt care about their safety and health. Expects you to show up even though your snowed in your house. Not to mention the pay is terrible. Irresponsible and immature!

They took my money for training on purpose to get hired and then never called or email me. They are not professional and needs lot or improvement

Best place to have your job done, and also the people there are very friendly and helpful that you work is not like a work and you will enjoy it.

The company has worst management. I have returned the uniform and even though I have been receiving emails to return the body armour or provide the document that you have returned it in-spite of the fact that no document has been provided to me when I returned the uniform and the document I signed you guys keep it and in the email you are saying you dont have any record. It means you guys lost it and now asking me $500 to pay. Guys dont work here. They have poor management.

I worked here for 24 hours and the pay I got was 220 So pls don’t work for this company not worth it. They pay the least in the security industry. There are many more companies who pay a lot better than them.

I have worked with paragon only for 3 months because of my health issues. I would definitely rate them zero if I could just because of that lady Priyanka parekh she is such aa manner less lady. She even don't know how to respond people.she is rude all the time.after that there is another lady her name is Simran in scheduling again she is one of the worst lady in paragon.she even don't know how to talk with people or answer their queries. I don't know what these both ladies are doing in paragon.

I had the most disgusting experience with a midnight patrol officer late this evening. As I was coming from Harvey's at 853 Milner Ave, Scarborough, ON M1B 5N6 I almost got into an accident with one of your officers who was not paying attention as he was driving. The patrol car came to a screeching halt to keep from T boning my car, if I was not paying attention this would've been a terrible situation. A couple minutes later as I pulled into the parking lot to eat my meal the patrol car pulled behind me and took down my license plate as if I was in the wrong. The parking lot said no overnight parking, which I was not doing. Harvey's is open until 2 am and I simply stopped to eat my meal at 12 am. I was in the parking lot for 10 minutes if that and my car was running as he pulled behind me. It is so sad that these are the people you have driving your patrol cars and representing your company. All I can remember is this individual had a white and silver beard. I am writing this email with the high hopes this individual will be reprimanded as this email could be me suing the company for neglectful driving, as someone driving a security patrol car you are held to a high standard. I would be terrified if this individual was working for my company.

A great company to work for. You are just not a number but, part of a team. There is great growth potential and there are opportunities to increase your knowledge thru online training. There are salary increases as you gain knowledge, experience and training. The HR Department and the Team leaders are the best that I have seen in any industry.

The worst company to deal with! My recruiter and scheduler are very unprofessional. They barely give a 5 hrs shift a week.

Paragon provided me best experience, people’s attention is only pay rate here.but I would recommend Paragon company to start your experience in security field. Good luck

I worked here for a few months and have nothing but great experiences, especially from Trevor and Tony, my superiors. If you want good experience these guys will get it for you! I was able to work as a Mobile Patrol Supervisor, Hospital Security, Concierge, you name it! Great company to start the Security career with and opportunities and reasons to stay.

It's been a couple months, since I started working for Paragon, and I have truly enjoyed the experience. Everyone from Paragon have been nothing, but kind and welcoming, which truly helped me get accustomed to the work enivorment. Both my location coordinator; Nethan and Sepand have ensure that I receive my schedule in a timely manner; as well as, taking the time to address my questions and concerns, in a kind and professional manner. Amazing working environment and company! I was initially hired for a screener ambassador position for a college downtown, Toronto. I was hired by locating commissioner Nethan Mahadevan, he was very helpful and resourceful. I have recently started to pursue my security license and am thankful for this opportunity.

I really thank Paragon for giving me this amazing opportunity to work with them as a Covid Screener. Right from interview to training, everything went on smoothly and professionally. Nethan and Sepand, my schedulers have been more than supportive to give me shifts as per my needs. The work environment is very friendly and decent. The supervisors are very accommodative and understanding. I highly suggest Paragon to anyone who is looking to start their Security guard career!

When you are training everything seems great, but after the training you are pretty much at mercy of your supervisor if they like you they give you good shift and what you want.
If they don't know you pretty much they throw you around without any notice or reason, and one of the guy in there Tony Marrow is very unprofessional pretty much doesn't like to talk to you and always late to pick up your call but when he call you need to pick the call if not you are pretty much go in his bad side.
Recommend only if you don't have another choice of work even then I recommend to go to some smaller company because they at least will care you a bit.

This is a vety good company for security jobs. My interview was conducted by Ramesh sir. He is very nice and gentle. The interview was very professional.

Easy to get working right away. Sepand and Nethan were extremely helpful when beginning the job and help get as much hours as you can do. They can make your work schedule to fit in with school schedules.

Huge shout out to the recruiting manager Sathiya Gugathasan for everything, very professional and understanding. Made sure I got hired in less than a week, guided me throughout the process. Also he replies to emails quick, answered all my questions and concerns.

The management is very corrupt. Especially Sasha Stojic and Chris Sullivan. They are totally sleeping in bed with the union. They cheat and lie to try and replace employees. After you finish your probationary period, they steal from you by not giving you full coverage for your medications. Despite many complaints against him, the scheduler Tony Marrow refuses to take any blame for anything.

If you are one of those guards that are actually there to work and get experience related to law enforcement, this is the perfect company. Your personal growth is what matters and Paragon provides the best resources for that. If you are one of those guards that are here to make easy money/slack off, choose other companies like First Service.

Great company to work, my Locating Commissioner Sathiya Gugathasan helped me get employment, great guy and very professional support, would recommend paragon security for new security guards who got their licences.

Sathiya Gugathasan Was the person who hired me on that time he told my me starting wage will be $15 an hour but when i got my first pay I found it was only $14 hr an hour and i send an email to him he doesn’t reply back for 2 weeks until i send him another email then he replied he never told that.

A scam. Had an interview there, and the recruiter kept interrupting me and changing the subject only to try to get me to sign up for a job that only pays the minimum. He told me, I'll get paid "Up to $20/hr". Where have I heard this before.

We're stuck with these guards at our apartment complex, I was going to complain to the company that they do nothing, but there's obviously no point. This seems to be cheap option, you get what you pay for and no one cares: (
Update to this, I am seeing some more actual security work being done, guards are doing actual rounds. Let's see if it continues.

Few days ago, at yonge&sheppard, i saw a security guy gave the middle finger and yelled at another Chinese guy. I don't know what happen there but it seems like very very disrespectful. Since what happen in the U. S, none of us wanna see such things happen again. Even the security also parking at the place that doesn't allow to park. The security guy still speaking provocative language. Jesus.

I applied for the job in this company in which their demand was of full time employee. I went for 1 written test, 2 interviews on different days, one day of online training and one day of in class training. I was hired after this long process just for random shifts and random sites (No full time job though it was their demand in job posting). Even after accepting this, I didn't get 1 shift within first 15 days. I resigned there after as I got other job.

Not much can be said here as a very big corporation they definitely need some changes. To put it simple sometimes it’s best to hire a smaller company. Not much else I can really say based on my knowledge of them.

My views of Paragon have completely changed when I was put into contact with Sathiya Gugathasan. He made sure that I was provided the necessary tools in order for me to achieve my goals. I've never felt more comfortable with any other security company until now and I feel secure by their extensive care for their employees.

Zero work ethics
Don't do security training from here it's just a money business which they are running.

I was promised to paid 15$/hr if I work in hospital but I was paid 14$/hr. Than I had to mail but I didn't get reply until I mailed 2-3 times. Once u deny to take a shift for ur personal reasons you'll be told that you're gonna be terminated. And than you won't get shifts anymore and they'll terminate you without informing you.

They will charge you for training and that too a very expensive training and also make false promises to you that they’ll get you a job thereafter but they don’t even care after training. You just have to find jobs on your own. They mistreat you when you approach them for a job after training. So it’s better to get training online or from other in class centres that provide at far cheap prices.

Paragon Security MUST GO! Simply Put!
They are not worth the money and their contract is due soon.
As a board member I will petition that we find better guards, because Paragon just replaced them with worse ones.
Our Condominium deserves better!

They pay try to pay you minimum wage even if you have experience and charge lot of money for the uniform, so don't buy new set of uniforms ask them for used ones if you don't want to pay around $300 for new ones. Otherwise good company to start with.

I would like to review the recruiting and training aspects of the company with 5 stars. It is a company who is totally different and way more professional than any other security company out there. The recruitment process was fast and the training they provide is taken very seriously. All instructors would go the extra mile to teach you and they make everything very interacting. An example of how a locating commissioner would always be, is Sathiya Gugathasan. He was very helpful, friendly and made all the process very easy.

This review is for the training aspect of Paragon Security.first off I want to thank Twain Escoffrey for taking the time, energy and patience in training and preparing us for the security licence exam. Twain was very thorough and helped break down the course to many peoples understanding. He was very engaged and I could see that he's was actually very passionate about the security industry. Mitch also was very informative in training and facilitating the CPR and first aid course. Mitch made the training very engaging and interesting. (I have taken multiple CPR and first aid courses in the past and found this one the most enjoyable. The administration team were also really awesome! With all of this training I recieved; I passed my license exam with flying colours. I Thank you Paragon Academy!
