Paramount Animal Hospital

Unprofessional and have no clue how do deal with animals. Yet are operating a animal hospital. All I can say is WOW and keep as far away from this place as you can if you love your animals.

I had to have my child of 19 years put down the other day. The process is painful enough as it is but I felt zero empathy from the Veterinarian, to the point that I was seething with anger anytime he was in the room. I understand that it is not there job to consol someone balling there eyes out but a little bit of empathy should atleat be shown for common human curiosity. It could possibly be a good place to take a pet for a regular checkup but I would never take another one of my pets there for anything whether serious or not.

Reading the reviews for Dr. Raza paints a picture of negligence, resulting in multiple deaths, improperly performed surgeries, improperly performed euthanasias. The list goes on. He responds to these reviews, often blaming the client themselves, or claiming they weren't clients. He is incompetent, takes no accountability for his actions, and is cold.

I came in with a nine year old cat who had a "bump" you could feel on their head. He weighed her, rubbed her head, and assured a crying me that my cat was ok. Two weeks later she started going into seizures and was beyond help. I understand people make mistakes but I was adamant her skull had changed and he ordered no tests. When I brought up xrays he said it wouldn't be necessary. (In his reply to me he says no one can diagnose brain mass without mri, so why didnt he call for one if he knew he couldn't diagnose her without one? Because he doesn't care.) She suffered, and so did we. He didn't do his job. His reviews reveal he regularly doesn't.

I've reported him to the vet college board of Ontario, I highly encourage anyone who has experienced something like this with "Dr" Raza please contact the college. At the very least he gets reprimanded and added to a list so people can know what he does before they go to him and lose their pet.

I give this a 5 star, the vet was amazing. He agreed to come in after hours to look at my daughter's cat who had to drive from london. As soon as he looked at her he knew what was wrong and prepped her for surgery. We are so grateful for his help in seeing the cat and taking action when noone else would help. I would recommend this clinic as he truly loves animals and it's not just a job for him. I will be taking my pets here.

Dr. Raza was so amazing to me and my cat. On Saturday evening my cat had an emergency and nobody would take us, until we reached Dr. Raza. He told me he would come back into the clinic after hours to help my cat. We told him we were 2 hours away and he said he would still wait. He knew exactly what was wrong with her and immediately prepped her for emergency surgery. He was very comforting and he explained to us exactly what was wrong with her. I am so grateful for him and how knowledgeable he is. His love for animals is so incredible that he was willing to come in on a Saturday night, to save my baby and to help a stranger. I will definitely be bringing my girl there from now on.

Second time trying to post, thats how much I mean what I am about to say:) I am so grateful to have found Paramount Vet! The care provided has been superior to any other vet I have been to, I have been to sooo many vets. The Dr answers all of my questions, even the crazy ones lol. Diagnosis has been honest and accurate everytime, always willing to squeeze you in for an important appt. Today the doctor who was on his way home turned around to come back and help my pet. Price is more than fair and beats my old vets pricing by almost half with everything. *Receptionist/assistant is also super helpful and super nice as well. Can not say enough good about the office as a whole.

Working with Dr. Raza was a great pleasure, he took care of my needs and assisteded with the work that was required for my cat. He explained and made me understand what was needed for my cats recovery. I would definitely refer him to my friends and family. Thank you so much Dr. Raza.

If I could leave no stars I would. I brought my dog here to cross the rainbow bridge as her quality of life wasn't okay anymore. She didn't want to go outside to do her business anymore and she had a really hard time walking and getting on the couch which is her favourite place to sleep. They were supposed to do a physical exam of my dog before putting her to sleep and they just kind of looked at her. Nothing else which we paid for by the way. Then they didn't give her enough sedation to make her comfortable and she was all over the place tripping on me and panicking. So they came back and gave her more which after about 30 seconds she dropped to the ground and smashed her face off the floor. Once she was sedated they shabbed the needle in to put her to sleep and there was blood dripping on the floor from her leg. Once she was gone I sat with her for a bit before getting up to leave. As I was leaving they told me I had to prove she was my dog after they had already put her down. And to top it all off on the certificate and her ashes they put the wrong name down for my dog. I 100% wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This man should not be allowed to be a vet. His clinic should be shut down.

Really good vet and prices are unbelievably cheaper then my previous vet I was shocked when I was told the prices this is now my cats new vet. The vet was really good and gave time to answer any questions I had would highly recommend consultations are around $60ish i wanted to share the price as its so helpful to know before finding out later but obviously this can change depending when your reading this

Prompt, friendly and professional service, caught a break on to the price too wasn't charged for two of the shots.

These guys are amazing. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We had never been there before and our regular vet would not squeeze us in after years of being with them. Paramount vet let us come in right away and continued to get us in when we needed it. Let’s just say I’m switching vets moving forward. Thanks so much Paramount Vet.

Very greatful for their care towards my Odie. He was taken good care of, right from the start. Every effort was made to make him comfortable in the process of his diagnosis. They are always responsive and attentive. Thank you for taking care of my baby.

Amazing place my cats been not feeling well and it was near closing time and my aunt was in the area to drive me and the vet came in after hours to help my lil man out an check him over amazingly nice place

Once again this vet has provided the outmost loving care to another pet in my house. His care and dedication for animals is outstanding. I totally recommend his services to other pet households!

Our cat was suddenly extremely sick and the Dr and staff were very concerned for his health. They did everything they could to try and save him but unfortunately he passed as his time was up. The Whole experience was heart wrenching but the staff were very supporting and helpful during the passing of our Cat Figgaro. Our family is grateful for the support professionalism and kindness that was offered. They even refunded some of the tests that were submitted and not run as it was too late. 10/10 would recommend. We also have a golden retriever and bring him in to this vet and know he is in great hands.

J'étais stressée, ma chienne a brisé sa dent de manière assez spectaculaire, un samedi matin. J'ai tombé par hasard sur cette clinique et je vais définitivement apporter mon chien à ce vétérinaire. Dr. Tahir Raza a été incroyable. Il était calme, il a pris immédiatement ma chienne pour en prendre soin et lui donner le meilleur service possible. La secrétaire de l'établissement était extrêmement professionnelle, réconfortante et surtout disponible! Dr. Raza, un homme fiable, dévoué et qui est allé au-dessus des attentes pour justement redonner une santé à ma chienne. They were able to take my dog in right away after we found her really sick. My dog had the necessary surgery the next day and she has been doing well ever since. I left feeling that the Dr.genuinely cared about my pets health and he took the time to make sure I understood what was happening as well. Will return with any future health concerns. Will recommend to others.

Brought my cat in for an emergency visit to treat a laceration on her eye (my vet would not get her in until a week later). Staff booked us in right away and they treated her the same day, they even trimmed her nails as a courtesy. Staff and vet were very kind and professional. Clean office. I am very grateful for their help.

I really love bringing my dog here She is always excited to see the staff and veterinarian (she begins waging her tail like crazy)! Visits are quick and super friendly. Both our little dog and big dog always enjoy their visit, even being calm when receiving shots! Definitely recommend this clinic for all dog types! I cannot understand some of the reviews because the care they provide is unmatched! I attached photos to show my bigger dog after an appointment.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS TO THIS CLINIC! I was told by this incompetent so called vet that my 2 year old Boxer has Pyometra and needed to be spayed asap. She DID NOT have Pyometra! She had and still has Inflammatory bowel disease he put my dog through surgery for no reason.this man should NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE A VET!

Dr. Tahir Raza is incompetent, I don’t think he should be qualified to be a vet. He preformed the wrong operation (a spaying
) on a male cat. On the phone he told me that he realized he was preforming the wrong operation when he could not "find the uterus". When I went in to pick up my cats and he was waiting there with a consent form for the operation he did not have permission to preform. Dr Tahir Raza told me it was my fault that I did not make it clear the cat was a female. Two days prior to the operation examined my two cats and gave them rabies shots. During this examination I told Dr. Tahir Raza that I was worried the smaller cat might be pregnant because and none of the cats have been spayed or neutered. Dr. Tahir Raza examined the smaller one and told me she wasn’t pregnant and she was perfectly healthy, he also examined the male one and said he was healthy. What did Dr. Tahir Raza check? Later on he would tell me that check was just an informal check-up he was doing as a favour for us and it was not his responsibility for checking the cats gender. I do not have a personal relationship with Dr. Tahir Raza and was expecting professionalism for the services i was paying for. He then informed me the spaying is a more expensive procedure with no remorse for the damage he had done preforming unnecessary operation and putting a small cat under anaesthesia multiple times. Days after the operation Dr Tahir Raza showed further neglect to his clients by ignoring our calls as we tried to contact him concerning the healing process. Everybody makes mistakes, how you handle those times is what shows your character and intent. Dr Tahir Raza showed me he cannot be trusted to have mine and my pets best interest.

My cat was so sick, losing weight and I had no idea he was suffering from kidney failure. My cat had a so called full physical exam with the vet here and blood work done and I was never informed once of my cats serious health problems. I will never recommend this vet, this is extremely unacceptable and I learn two months later from Kingsway animal hospital that I may need to put my cat down because this was not treated in time. The vet at paramount animal hospital told me his blood work was normal when it was extremely bad. I hope that people don’t trust this place with their pets. I now am seeing a vet who has properly diagnosed my cat. I don’t recommend this place. They charge a lot of money for false and inaccurate information that can lead your pet to serious health problems.

Excellent Service! Never been to them before, but had a bit of an emergency with our youngest puppy. They preformed some emergency surgery on her paw. We will be back with all our other pets! Thank you again for taking such good care of our Hazel.

The staff at this hospital were great with my lab puppy. The Dr.was very gentle during her vacine appointment. My dog also hates getting her nails trimmed and the girls there figured out a low stress technique that worked. I haev never met a kinder group of people.

On Friday morning I went to Paramount Animal Hospital as I walked in with my lovely cat They welcomed me very nicely. Dr. Raza was Awesome and had great love with animals.
I would like to recommend my family friends this low cost Animal Hospital.

I went there with my puppy and my cat The receptionist was very nice. The Vet was Awsome He guided me very well for vaccines and Deworming. I highly recommend this low cost clinic to my all friends.

They lied about prices. And when I showed her a recording of them telling me the original cost they brought the cost up x3 the price they originally gave me. Then kicked me out for defending myself. I wasn't paying 300 for two kittens to be dewormed.

Very awful service. I don’t recommend it at all! I went their with my 1 year old French Bulldog her eyes were getting very watery the vet didn’t even examine her or touch her but yet he says he doesn’t know why it’s happening and then at the end he tells me he HATES French Bulldogs. What vet says that to a client.

Warning! Charged for an extra exam fee when already approved for a prescription. I cancelled the referral customer I got for them, and I will not be returning myself. They are interested in your pocket, not your pet.

I started going here when DR. Yim was here and she was THE BEST. But ever since she left I have had nothing but problems and negative experiences. Constantly feeling like they care more about getting your money than the well being of your pet.
