For a quick eat it's alright. The portions are small and the meat isn't always served fresh. Sometimes it's cut off the grill ahead of service. It isn't as hot and tender as it is when cut right off the grill.
Founded by Order of Canada recipient, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Mohamad Fakih, in 2007 shortly after emigrating to Canada, Paramount Fine Foods is a homegrown, heartwarming Canadian success story, aside from being the source of the most authentic Middle Eastern food in Ontario.
Their lentil soup is great and their shawarma platters are amazing.
This outlet, close to the China Town area off Spadina in downtown Toronto, is good if you’re grabbing a bite on the go, or want to sit down for a quiet meal.
The best thing about this place is, the entire menu is HMA halal certified. They have 2 options in Chicken Shawarma, regular and spicy; both are equally good. The beef option is also very flavorful. I will be returning again and try the Fried Chicken options.
When I’m hungry and craving something healthy, I usually pick grilled food and one place I order from is Paramount. Well, ordering Uber eats from this location got me so mad. There’s no way I can blame the uber eats delivery person for the mess on this so called box. Even if the Uber eats driver was on a roller coaster this dish wouldn’t be presented like the picture below. It looks like the restaurant staff just grabbed the items and dropped it anywhere on the box not caring about presentation. The kebab pieces was everywhere and cold as if they came from a warming drawer, The salad and other toppings was mixed in. I would not call it a box, it’s more like tossed salad. However had I ordered the kebab platter from the other location, it would have been nicely presented and I could see what I’m eating.
It was delicious. My buddy and I stopped here for a quick bite before a concert. We got the Shawarma, it was so good that we both got seconds before leaving. Portion sizes could be a bit bigger, given the price, though overall it was pretty good.
I'm impressed how they let such a rude person work in this place. Being the only vegetarian in the group I was, I asked for the meatless sandwich and the guy was EXTREMELY rude, I tried to ask for other vegetarian options and he was very impatient with the questions. I believe that people who work in restaurants need to be a little bit more patient when asked something about the food
Paramount Lebanese Kitchen is a destination for Lebanese food lovers, variety of fresh tasty appetizers, barbecues, sweets and. The only problem with this branch is that it is designed for take-away rather than dine-in. So if you want to get together with family and friends choose their other locations.
While the food tasted good it was a lot spicy to middleeastern food and ive lived in the middleeast for a while.
The chicken shawarma was spicier to every shawarma i have had in my life. The same spice seems to have been used in the spicy potatoes. The salad was good but overall the portion was a lot less for the price. Even after asking for hamus the guy served me a teaspoon full. Ali baba seems like a better option
I like the food but the serving staff are daft at best to put it lightly. If they open at 11: 00am don’t expect them to have anything ready. Your better off going to order at 1pm because there honestly that bad when it comes to being on time to serve. Call me old school but if you say you open at 11: 00am you should be ready to serve.
Extremely bad customer service. On Christmas Day, my wife went in to get a wrap. The guy who served her had a very stiff angry looking face. While he is doing the wrap, he kept mumbling all the time with different language, most likely Arabic. He did not want to answer he questions when she asked. He sold her two taboli salad, very small portion for $9.00. Seems like he is a radical list who doesn’t want to open on Christmas Day. Buddy, if you do not like it here, go back to where you came from. If you chose to live in Canda, learn how to do better customer services. Not recommended.
Being an Indian origin, my taste is all about deliciousness. I had a wrap and shawarma from here and I must say I never had such delicious delicacies in my life. Burhan carried out his duties wonderfully well - pleasant, efficient and unobtrusive. The food was terrific.
The wrap is plain on taste without the sauce. I could barely taste their Hummus until the green colour caught my eye. Customer service is below average the most. The menu didn’t tell you what options for wraps. When asked, the staffers only blurted out a mixed stuff of pretty much just chicken and beef.
Customer service was really nice, they were accommodating and very helpful since I’ve never been there. The store was nice and clean and service was really fast. Great food spot if you like middle eastern food! 10/10 recommend.
We were impressed by Paramount's gesture, their service and specially the food. Special thanks to Burhan who served us with a superb service. Appreciate the efforts!
We are regulars there food always been consistent and had great quality. Nothing fancy, but great for casual lunches and getting outs. Great deals for lunch! Very big menu.
Went there. Nice people serving good food. She put extra potatoes for me……very nice. The spice level was perfect and it was a lot of food. I got the “box” with 2 bases. It was a take out. They didn’t ask for a tip on the pin pad! I was really happy about that. I’d be happy going back to a place that doesn’t ask for a tip for a job that they’re supposed to do. Again…great experience. Thanks!
Definitely check this place out, if you're looking for good Lebanese kitchen! We order delivery from here regularly, and we're always impressed - it's one of the best spots we've found.
This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very welcoming and the cooking they place on your table is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.
