A perfect place to taste the Mediterranean cuisine. It is a good place to go with friends and colleagues for a dinner or lunch

Our family has come here many times in the past but it’s really gone downhill in terms of portion size, price and customer service. It came to a head at the most recent time we went. We came with our 3 year old daughter whose meal didn’t show up until everyone was finished eating. We had to follow up numerous times with the two servers. After the first time we talked to them, we felt like we were getting more attitude than help. The only exception to this was another server/manager (?) who was apologetic. After this, our two servers didn’t return to our table and sent someone else. To top this all off, we had to pay for the meal our daughter didn’t eat because she had to eat from our plates.

Food came fast, but no one cared to come to the table after. We had to ask 2 different people for bread and we never got the bread until I had to talk to the manager. By the time we got the bread, the food was cold. Terrible service overall. Will never go back and will never recommend to friends and family.

I really liked this restaurant. I found the Mezza, the grilled meats, the bread and the rice very tasty and the price reasonable. The service was good and quick too.

I had the displeasure of visiting Paramount to eat Shawarma, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment I stepped foot inside, the lackluster ambiance screamed mediocrity. The service was subpar at best; the staff seemed disinterested and unbothered by my presence. As for their so-called "signature" shawarma, it fell flat on all fronts. The meat was dry and tasteless, lacking any hint of seasoning or flavor. The pita bread they used was stale and chewy, making each bite an exercise in frustration. To add insult to injury, the price was way too high in comparison to other high quality shawarma! So much for the promise of a flavor explosion! Save yourself the hassle and skip this establishment entirely; your taste buds will thank you for avoiding this grim culinary experience.

The food is sooooo good. Great place to take the family or meet up with friends and make great memories.

We're used to the amazing service & food of the one in downtown. Our order did not come correct, just to not be a Karen, I didn't say anything but then as we were waiting for the staff to come & check on us so we can get takeaway boxes & order desert, they were laughing & talking about us in Arabic, not a very nice behavior as you don't know that maybe your customers might understand you.

The dishes ordered are marked as one of the favourites on the menu, so we choose their beef and chicken wrap.

Do not ask me precisely which one.because the menu I forgot. Just said this one and this one.

Their salad taste fresh, the fries were not oily at all (I think they oven-cooked the fries) and the wrap were not too salty nor oily. Delicious.

I've been here 20+ times. Long waits. Terrible food. Serve warm drinks with no ice. No napkins. No water. I am disgusted by the service and lack of quality. Place is gone downhill. Prices have gone up, portions reduced, they serve their wraps with almost no meat inside. Dirty tables and bathrooms. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Bad experience with a family dinner of 13 persons at Paramount Etobicoke branch.

I born and raised in Middle East and love the Labanese Food and their hospitality but extremely disappointed with the service and pathetic policy of Paramount Restaurant to pay a mandatory 10-15% TIP on the bill is ridiculous and never experienced or heard such policy in my entire life anywhere in world. I understand why it’s most branches closing their doors in GTA, Ontario.

The food here is extremely tasty! We enjoyed the eggplant hummus that was the highlight of the meal! Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and a wide variety of options. We will be back for sure!

I used to love Paramount Restaurants for their service and taste. Unfortunately this location is one of the worst service I have experienced. Now I understand why most of the Paramount locations are closed in Mississauga. There used 3 locations in Mississauga all are closed. This location closes at 10 pm, I called and checked if they accept dining before 9: 30 pm they said yes. I went at 9: 25 pm they said that they don't accept after 9 pm insane, I traveled all the way from Mississauga to this location. The management need to fix the service else this will become the next location to lose the business.

We were at Paramount Middle Eastern Kitchen today for lunch with our Canadian Labenes friends. We ordered fes items, which were all fresh and delicious. In particular the veggie lover platter, lentil soup, falafels and fresh stone baked bread were very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful and it is very clean facility. We would certainly revisit this place and would recommend for vegetarians to try as they have quite a few choices.

Food is very little compared to the price, the food is not likely to feed an ant! They think that by providing high quality food they can give you samples. Food's quality is not compatible with the price though. Kids playing area is very dark even in the morning so Kids feel scared to play there. They have to increase the food quantities!

We went to the Etobicoke location. The service was below the standards. We order the food and waited for 40 minutes. That is still fine as it was busy that evening but food came cold which really put us down. I love the middle eastern food and I was so looking forward to it but this experience really spoilt my mood and I'm not sure if I ever will visit this location again

I always wanted to try this place. When my husband and I got in the restaurant, we had no greeting from the staffs. We had to ask two police officers where do place the order.
I believe who took our order was the manager no hello or anything like that.
The price is too expensive. We had to complain about how long the wait was. We waited 1 hour for our food. We saw people who order before us for their food. By the time we got home it was cold. We pay wait too much for the food we had, there was no sauce the food was ok nothing too fancy about! They gave us a small box of treat. I could went to another facility pay less and get better service.
I was very disappointed with this place for my first time.

I made an order today for my iftar and i invited some friends but they sent the the wrong order with Uber driver i called them to tell them that i have some guests here if they can send it again but the owner said he can keep the wrong order and come to pick up his order it was very rude answering if i can pick up by myself i am not going to use Uber

I had come here once before a few years ago and loved this place. I recently moved to Etobicoke and wanted to bring my wife however we have some mixed reviews of this place. This is a note to the management to help them improve because I genuinely (on a normal day) love the food here.

Firstly your service has slowed down tremendously. I had to keep raising my arm in the air to catch the attention of the waitress. I suggest you have a look at the number of servers you should keep.

Secondly the vegetarian food was truly amazing. We loved the pita and the salads. The hummus was amazing. The rice with lentils was superb too. However the chicken was undercooked and we had to return the shawarma. Please see the picture attached. Please have a random quality check of your chicken shawarma to see what your customers can get.

Finally, the restaurant is well maintained however you have a bug swapper above one of the tables. This is not acceptable. Please change its location to make it a better environment for the customers.

Poorly managed location.
I ordered a SIDE and it took 45 minutes. They were potatoes.
I should have just made them at home, it would have taken me the same amount of time.
When I asked the cashier to cancel my order, they made it on the spot.
You shouldn’t have to ask to cancel your order to get your food within a reasonable time frame.

Update.was disappointed.service was bad.we arrived early for dinner.restaurant was mostly empty. I was looking forward to the great bread fresh off the oven for dipping.never arrived.my fault? I should said something when we were served the food.then all servers got busy.there was a tall lady dressed all in black directing the two busy swrvers away from the dinning room.online orders? Our server was on the phone.the other one disappeared for a while. I tried making eye contact.then I started waving.finally a stressed out looking hurried young man came over.may I have some bread please? He run. Brought back ONE. One for two people.we finished the dips with forks.no one came over to see if we needed anything or the customary check to ask how food is. I dropped my napkin on the floor and rather than trying to ask the busy servers.by this time it was getting busy. I cut my wife's in two pieces. Food was OK. Sort of. Chicken shawarma was meh! Just a lot of rice. Kafta was bland. Dips and salad were small! Getting the bill was the same. I had to stand up.please train and hire more people management.look at and after your customers.

We went years ago to the Fewster location and had a great experience. Today we ordered take out. The chicken shoarma wrap had barely any chicken in it. With the two meals we ordered they forgot to add their famous bread. When I called in they said they would leave a note to give us credit for the bread the next time we ordered. I don’t know how that helps my current meal experience but the manager wouldn’t budge. The chicken in our meal was completely dried out.
So…. Paramount…. You’ve lost a customer for life. Good job!

There were 4 of us girls in total and did 2 Mix Grill Platters plus pizza and it was not enough. We ordered one with rice and the other with fries. The sides were barely enough for two people. We've eaten at a Paramount Restaurant before and 2 platters were more than enough. The quantity shouldn't change eating in/out. I called the manager today, Omar, and all he said "this is the portion, but I will see who was working and find out. I'm sorry about that". Didn't take my information or anything.: (DON'T DO TAKE OUT from the Queensway restaurant.

This location is a joke. If I could give no stars I would. I ordered my takeout food (per the staffs recommendation- mixed grill plate) at 5: 30PM I asked how long it would be and the employee stated it would be 20mins. Being a patient gal I waited around until 5: 50 before respectfully asking for the first time the status of my order. This simple task of giving me the status of the food was very difficult for the staff to comprehend, mind boggling even, they took 10 minutes to just answer my question at which they insisted it would only take 2 minutes longer. The rest of the waiting room was filled with furiously hangry people waiting for take out, we began discussing and it turns all of us were waiting for 40 minutes + on orders that were supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. Alas 6: 40PM rolls around - 1hr after the order and we requested a refund because I genuinely was not even hungry anymore. In fact I was disgusted by the rude responses, non transparent attitudes and unresponsive employees.

*Update-It is always interesting to me when restaurants reply to reviews with a trite comment that pretends they have taken the concern and intend to act on it. Unfortunately, these replies are most often disingenuous and such is the case with this reply. No one is going to review portion size. There will be no changes in customer service or the number of staff hired to address this. Management/Owners will continue to be unconcerned and rude towards customers concerns. I have read the negative reviews on here for this location and most are 1,2,3 years + old. If changes were going to made, they would have done this. It saddens me for Mohamad Fakih who started this business. He is such a proud man and is so respected. Anyway, this restaurant is what it is.
The food is sometimes very good, but often inconsistent and if they cannot address: the astounding and careless lack of customer service and the absolute absence of APPRECIATION & LOYALTY then I will not return. I am not trying to be harsh but rather brutally honest, however I do not expect that any of the things I mention will be corrected.

Service is atrocious. Wait times are ridiculous. I ordered something and the portion size was about half the regular size. I took it home and called to let them know but the owner was argumentative and rude. She refused to take any feedback or apologize in any way. I have been a good customer but time and time again I get slow service, small portions and I watch the owner sit around at messy tables near the kitchen where her stuff strewn all over the place. It looks terrible and is a real turn off to customer. Meanwhile the hardworking staff work like dogs. There were TWO cooks on a busy FRIDAY during dinner! They needed four or more. The servers are run off their feet, but the owner rarely does a thing that I have ever saw. Most owners are in there working side by side and just as hard as their staff.
The franchise/company should do something to correct the owners. They are an embarrassment to Paramount. If this is what Paramount believes is a good business model, then I wish them well but I'm done. I will avoid this location. I have also seen a customer wait over a hour for an order -I heard him say that to them. He was so exasperated. I felt so bad for him! It was a huge order for a business and once again this owner was rude to him and reprimanded him for being rude. Was this a joke? He was spending hundred of dollars and rather than express any gratitude or say she was sorry, she was just rude. What restaurant owner does this? After I saw this I should have stopped going but I have a serious labneh addiction.
"I can't even" with this location. I complained to their head office. Maybe they will call me back. I will update this review if the head office calls.

This place started out great but I noticed the quality kept going down. I've spoken to the owner multiple times to let her know my feedback. However, nothing has changed and things kept deteriorating.

From mixing up orders to getting uncooked meat. There is zero consistency.

I've been to most of the paramount locations in Toronto. This one is by far the best one amongst all. Top quality and is consistent.

Have ordered just now the cheese manakesh and mix grill platter. The cheese flavor and aroma of the manakesh is a deteriorated version of the ones made by Hamilton location. Same as the rice flavor of the mix grill is way far from their Hamilton's cooking. The cook here must be trained further by the Hamilton branch. Otherwise this restaurant is something not worth coming back for a person that can identify a good distinction of flavors and aroma.

I am a regular of this restaurant. Food is really good. But service is very very slow. Just one people attending tables. Many users asking for there food. No answer. So sad. If you can not attend your clients is better no open.

I came in on 21/11/2021 at 10: 53 AM not knowing that they open at 11: 00 AM. Nonetheless the front door was unlocked so I assumed they were. I came to the front to ask a SIMPLE question about the availability of a dish and the server RUDELY told me that they weren't open yet. When I asked him to speak with the manager he RUDELY told me she wasn't available. No wonder Paramount is a declining chain; why don't you start by making sure your servers BEHAVE THEMSELVES and TREAT CUSTOMERS COURTEOUSLY.

Worst middle eastern restaurant in town. I went to get shawarma plate. They made me pay extra for sauces then I look at the plate they don't eveb put humous, garlic or lattice or tomato. Nothing. Just plain meat and rice. The most rediculus thing I seen in Arab restaurant.

Must admit while we love the food, the value for money is not there. Especially tonight. I did a pickup order and waited for it. I did not realize that the four spicy chicken tawouk would be lumped together. Makes it tough to dish it up in front of people. And I ordered two orders of the delicious spicy potatoes (probably last time enjoying them due to qty for price). Instead of getting two boxes or containers I got one. Called the restaurant as soon as I got home. Was told them put the two orders in one large box. Was definitely not worth the $16 no matter how tasty. Really disappointed.

Amazing food, great servers, and the sweetest owners. Being Lebanese I'm really picky when it comes to authentic Lebanese food, this is a place that I highly recommend.

Great food, and great server! He was almost working alone doing the work of 4 staff, but still he did a great job (sorry I do not have his name). The food was great, however the Fatteh was a bit cold. So sad to see all paramount branches in Mississauga close! Must order the Labaneh Plate and the Halloumi Salad.

If you have a craving for middle eastern cuisine then this place is for you. The food is delicious, healthy and very reasonably priced. The staff with their warm smiles always go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need for your dining experience.

I did an order through Uber eat, in the app mentioned that buy one get one free and they didn’t specify which item anyhow I order shawarma and spicy chicken and I didn’t get that offer and received cold and saggy I called them to ask about that buy one get one free the lady was so rude has no clue about customer service she almost start to yell at me.

Went there today and hygiene of the tables and chairs and the restaurant in general was not up to standard plus the hummus had an after taste although they changed it for us but was still the same

Customer service is great. The staff are extremely friendly they go above and beyond.
I totally recommend this place, we eat there almost every other week.

Ordered a pick up order from this place via phone. The woman working the front and answering the phone was rude to begin with (still ordered because I was in a rush). Got to location, the same girl said “how can I help you” I said “I’m picking up an order I called for” she said she will check on it. She came back like a couple seconds later and was like “can I help you? ” In a very rude tone and I looked at her because she literally just asked me what I’m here for. And again she said “can I help you? ” I repeated that I was there for a pick up order and cashed out. Went over to the pick up area and waited for my food. While my food comes up, another lady says “hold on I’ll get the machine” and I told another woman that I had already paid, to which the first woman said “oh you paid? ” In a questioning tone. The food was good, but the customer service is absolute trash. Won’t go back just because of that interaction.

Food is always good/hits the spot but the service is terrible. Ordering online the food is never ready and we always end up waiting to pick it up. We gave plenty of time for the order to be filled, drove to pick it up and it hadn’t even been printed or looked at yet. Only order from here if you have lots of time to waste.

Enjoyed the mixed grill main course. The 2 stars is for the main course only. The rice at the side were okay. Their hummus was amazing. But the service is too slow and it took them forever to come to the table or to serve dessert. The overall experience was ruined by their service.

Good service and good place to sit inside the restaurant, with well done decor. They have an in-house mini jungle gym to keep the kids entertained and busy. Courteous and friendly staff. However, quantities or portions that had reduced in size over time have now become bigger but prices have gone up. The outdoor patio it's really noisy being right next to the Queensway.

I had a lovely lunch there today with my mother and infant son. We had such a wonderful conversation with the wait staff and owner, and they were so thoughtful when accommodating us to ensure our ease and comfort with the baby. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious. My mom, who can be little uneasy in new places (she's 81!) really enjoyed dining there. And to top it off, we were given some complimentary sweets at the end of our meal. Thank you Paramount Queensway! We'll be back very soon.

Service is good and seating is nice. Hummus and fresh bread was nice. Fattoush lacked in flavour although vegetables looked fresh. Was very disappointed with the chicken shawarma. Was definitely not cut fresh, very small "leftover" pieces with a lot of skin and fat and served in a small portion for a high price. The beef was okay. You'd think a fine food Lebanese restaurant would at least have good shawarma.

They’ve total dropped the ball on this visit.
Clearly they were super busy with takeout orders, not enough staff. Dine in guests were secondary.
Dirty tables everywhere they just didn’t have time to clean.
Food was clearly rushed since the fries were stale. The appetizer came when I’m almost done eating.

I went in this place with 9 friends for the food before I went there I called them before and ask the question to the front desk girl we are coming from work and we have 1 hour for the food can you manage the time and she said after you order the food will take maximum 20 minuts for to serve the food. I went there and I order the food at 7.03 Pm and I request the lady at desk we are in break please make sure you get us a food on time she said again 20 minuts anyway they did not serve the food till 7.45 I have to go for the food more than 3 times to request for the food they serve the food at 7.45 and the food was still cold some of my friends ate the food and some of them left the food. Even after 7.45 they did not brought all the food we left that place we were still hungery because even at the end they did not brought the breads and the water which we ordered. I have really bads experience with this restaurant. And at the end when I spoke to the manager she said when you come next time I will look after you but she never said I gonna look after you know the price you paid and you did not get the proper food. Anyway the food portion was so less and the food was cold and the service was terrible we just paid 160 dollars for nothing we are not going back again.we all came from one of the company who gives them a lot of business but I will recommend my company not to order from there anymore.

Where else can you meet the chain owner M.and his son E.having a watchful eye on the operational details of a Franchise? Paramount The Queensway, come where the food is 6-stars and no other restaurant can compete. Always a Blast to sit, eat and relax in a comversation at this specific location which management always goes above and beyond our expectations. Just during winter, something must be done to heat this restaurant branch and make it more suitable for Canadian cold; the gap in the all-glass doors is not properly sealed and let's draft air inside, meaning if you're not warm you don't enjoy your food. If you need an engineering designer and contractor, give me a call.

Whenever i miss middle eastern cuisine i head to this place. Absolutely love their shawarma, reminds me of dubai. Tried their kinafe this time, it was good but the sweet syrup quantity was quite less.

Ordered mixed grill and fattoush salad. It came with hot out of the oven fresh Pita bread. Food was excellent and service was excellent. We'll definitely repeat! Love Lebanese food.

Went to pick up food and arrived on time. Stood there without anyone acknowledging my presence while several workers walked passed by without making eye contact or allowing a chance for me to get their attention. No other clients in the resto. 6 minutes passed by and decided to flag someone down. My food has been ready and sitting on the counter the entire time. Not impressed. They also only give you a single piece of pita for a tub of hummus enough for at least 2-3 ppl… in store dining they give you 2 fresh pcs at least. At the crestlawn location they give you 5 to go. I’ll avoid this location going forward. Food tasted good but awful service and small portion for what you pay for.

Beef kebab was like rubber. Full of fat and meat was way over cooked. Got it switched to chicken. Wasn't overly impressed.

Ok the food tastes good as expected and is well done but the service team seem to he dropping the ball all the time. They don't check on you and we had to ask for garlic sauce about 3 times before we got them after we finished our food. They are polite but they might be not organized.

Been awhile. Glad this is a proper sit down resto vs the other ones that first opened up with self service order and find a seat.

Ordered the lentil soup, hummus to start and fattoush salads and shish tawouk skewer. Good lemony proper Lebanese lentil soup and hummus with tahini and lemon juice.

This branch is the best paramount I have visited so far. I had the chicken shawarma plate and it was super delicious. The meat was moist and perfectly cooked, fries were freshly fried and the pita bread with hummus was amazing.our server was very professional, so quick and friendly. Felt like we were the only ones at the restaurant. I would reccomend to eat here anytime!

It’s always such a great experience when we are dining at Paramount. The Queensway location has excellent staff and even better food. We always enjoy sharing a platter of their middle eastern cuisine and fresh Naan! My favourite for desert is their kanafa. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for great middle eastern food!

From the outside this place looked like a good idea to have a quick bite. Nothing quick here it took 30 mins just to get a shawarma sandwich. To top it off it was nothing exciting. Very bad service and horrible pita.

Our food took longer to be ready but it was fresh and warm unlike other paramounts I’ve visited. Staff was also friendly and had been really helpful explaining the menu as we are not familiar much with middle eastern food. Thank you guys

Not one of the best among all paramount, but this is the only one location i feel is best in food and service both. Me and my wife just love the vibe we get here, fast paced, healthy, beautiful ambiance and amazing staff members.
Managers are on their toe, checking all tables for water, bread, tea &coffee. I remember once we got some warm bread and this young manger came to ask us if we were comfortable, we told him we would like hot bread and in seconds he got a basket of hot pita breads.

Food Quality is the best here as compared to other location, they make fresh cut shawrma in front of your eyes. They are super friendly with kids, they even gave us some complimentary cookies for the kids.

I get overwhelmed whenever i visit this location, i am not a type of person who write reviews but this time i was forced by my wife.lol:)

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague so my friend and I decided to try it out. Let me start of by saying the service was bad, our server with dark hair barely knew the menu and we could barely understand him. Our glasses were empty for half an hour and he didn't even come to check up on us or fill the glasses up with water. I won't be back again after tonight.

Poor service coupled with cheap want to be the authentic middle east cuisine, food additives that made nonsense did not even hide the musky taste of the chicken I ordered, the one star is for the pita, as this is the only thing I eat, too pricey for what they serve.

I love the service at this location, the staff was so attentive and in a good mood. I had the mixed BBQ platter and this dish is one of the city's best. We did not wait long for our food, and the manager (tarik) was very nice by checking on us and on other customers, It felt like he had a clock in his head for every table to ensure food is served on time, I have not seen something like that before as it is a very hard skill to master!

Best paramount I have. The food was served hot and fresh! Customer service from Maryan was just excellent! Never said a no for the requests - just great!

I was not happy with the service. We waited so long for our hummus and bread. I asked another waiter and he did not even tell his buddy. Our dinner finally arrived and asked for another serving of bread because we still had hummus-didn't get it. I was super annoyed!

We were there tonight and found Hassan to be a great host. It is our go-to for excellent, healthy and well-priced take out. Try the fattoush salad and the schwarma. The platters are a nice treat if you're feeding a crowd.

The worst customer service in a city.
I'm not going back there ever again.
Server was inattentive. Didn't ask even once if everything was ok. Our water glasses were empty (all 3 guests) we had to ask few times for water. Messy table. She brought us coffee, after we asked twice for it and left it on a table that still had empty dishes on it as we finished dinner at least 20 minutes ago. I collected dishes on one side of the table so it easier for her to get. She had to be ask twice to take them away. Apparently we were the only table she had.
Bad, bad experience.
