I recently discovered this downtown gem on Yonge Street, transitioning from my usual Scarborough spot. The restaurant boasts a prime location and ample space. Convenient parking options include Dundas Square's underground garage and Eaton Center's parking garage.
The restaurant exudes cleanliness, and the welcoming, friendly staff enhanced the overall experience. Opting for chicken and beef shawarma, accompanied by delectable fries and garlic paste, proved to be a delightful choice. The ordering and payment process was swift and efficient.
For those seeking a combination of delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.
Came here for lunch and ordered chicken shawarma with rice. The chicken is dry and hard (like old left overs) and rice is greasy. The service was good and nice restaurant.
It was a really tasteless meal. I ordered a mix menu and I didn't like any of it. Since I didn't like the food, I didn't order it and the waiter behaved in an unpleasant way. I will never go again.
I have been to paramount several times but on this Eid I went for dinner. We ordered mezzie plate our usual order & 4 grilled chicken. Firstly the waitress took out a crumpled paper out of her pocket which had no space to write then she tried to memorize the order. She brought mezzie plate serving of dips was too less it seems that it was picked up from some table & re served to us. Muharrama the walnut dip was half eaten not even leveled which was served to us.she forgot the bread after waiting for 15 mins & reminding her then served & she smiled n said she forgot. Then came the chicken which was cold & had some sauce on it which we never ordered on complaining it wasn’t replaced. Drinks again were not served on reminding n repeating what we ordered were served. What I fail to understand that why they expect a tip on such a pathetic service? & it wasn’t v busy. May be they were short on staff or what. However I burnt my $127 on cold & re served food. Very disappointing experience.
The food was good. You have to try the Zaatar Mankesh. However, the place is located in the heart of Toronto and to have all ripped menu is embarrassing.
I've not eaten in too many middle Eastern restraunts in Toronto but having lived most of my life there I can definately tell you that this is as close as it gets. We had their mixed combo and had a taste of everything. Their full portion sizes are perfect for a group of 4-5. A complete deja vu moment with their toom garlic paste, hummus and freshly baked pita
I had an amazing experience at paramount. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. It was quite busy; the service was pretty quick and we were seated right away.
Juste à l’entrée avant de nous dire un mot de bienvenue elle mentionne que le pourboire est obligatoire en plus un très bon pourboire! Des voleurs non disciplinés sous le nom de Hala!
The best middle-eastern food in downtown Toronto, served by the most friendly staff.
My husband tried the same restaurant @ Dubai and was thrilled to find one here in Canada. He doesn’t take pork so it kinda worked out for us to slip into this place. It was a weekday, so there wasn’t any trouble getting a reservation. We called -in 30 mins ahead and managed to get a table.
Food ordered: 1. Mixed Grill (Main) served with 1 half of the plate of fries and other half plate of flavoured rice. 2. Veggie lovers. 3. Lentil soup. 4. Coke & Raspberry refresher.
Cost (for two) : $80~
Time taken for food to arrive (dine-in) : 5-7 mins.
Food portions were pretty large and stomach-filling.
Good location and this restaurant is a nice one. Staff are really nice. Will definitely go back. Tried the crispy chicken for the first time - loved it!
Just because I asked today for extra chicken on their small chicken-less wrap, they decided to charge 5$:) Not only that, but there was barely chicken. I wish I could’ve given you stars with minus with this move. You should let your management this is not the way to rip people off for a small wrap.
Good halal food restaurant with Arabic menu. Prices and quantity of food are reasonable as per location. They have about 40 branches in GTA. Inside is nice and clean, decorated. Staff are friendly and they will take care of you well. Good location close by Yonge and Dundas square.
We came here last night, hoping for a good meal because of the good reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not good. Firstly, our poor waitress had too many tables, resulting in slow service (not her fault- clearly this is a management issue). As for the food: we got the arnabeet, which was extremely oily, the fattoush salad, which had so much dressing it was basically inedible, the chicken shwarma, which was dry and unseasoned chicken on a dry pita with no sauce, and the zaatar manakeesh, which was very overseasoned, again to the point of being inedible. The only positive part of the meal was the pita served beforehand. Really disappointing considering the prices at this place.
The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly and kind. Don’t west your time looking for something new, just come here and get the best. Merve served us and she was phenomenal:)
Great place with large portions - great if you're hungry. Their platters are phenomenal if you're going with a group of friends so you can try all the different types of meat.
I am a shawarma fan, i have eaten shawarma in many places in city and this is so far the best i would say. Thanks to you guys for serving such a great food with great hospitality.
This place is very worth trying. I haven’t had a good meal in over a week. I came here to see what it’s all about. This place is about GREAT food. Will not disappoint. Service also good. Prices are very good. Thank you guys.
Great place to eat, very affordable and the food is fresh and delicious. Kapil was amazing and showed us amazing service. Keep up the great work to all the staff!
UPDATE: Since posting the review written below, I have been contacted by Paramount and my issues have been listened to and addressed.now back to the best falafel wraps in Toronto!
Ordered for delivery as I have often before. I love my falafel wraps! These balls were dry, hard and fell apart, I do not think that there was any sauce at all! When I called to let the manager know; he was not available. I left my message with a team member who listened to me took my name and number for the manager who did not call back! It has been over a week so I guess I won’t hear back! I wonder if there were new kitchen staff.there was a slice of tomato rolled up in the bread! Not a bad thing, just never seen it done this way before! I will place No more orders from this Paramount location.the disappointment is to great, I love my falafel wraps!
Love the open shawarmas and shared platters. Everything is always so yummy! The fresh, stone oven baked pita bread is to die for. And, you can ask for extra without having to pay extra.
