Paris Nails

We paid $75 for a set and $85 for a fill. The nails are bumpy, all different shapes and sizes, and heights. I asked for ballerina she said ok almond, I said no ballerina and show a photo, ok coffin.sure close enough. Not even the height I wanted. Didn’t listen to how she wanted chrome on the flower not the nail, and repeated several times. The chromes already chipping off after 3 minutes of getting them done. They were super rushed m maybe because were walk ins but I’ve never seen a full set done under 30 minutes.not worth the money.

I had a great experience, and would definitely come back. I got the deluxe Pedi and a manicure with shellac. My husband got the Pedicure.

I don’t like writing bad reviews, but unfortunately I left disappointed last night. I’ve been a pretty regular customer of Paris, it’s been about 3 years or so now that I’ve been coming and usually my experience is good. I come because they can always get me in fairly quickly. Last night I came for a fill and I had Janet do them for me. However, she seemed to miss filling a nail to the cuticle it looks like, which I did mention to her, but she kind of brushed it off. I normally don’t complain because I feel bad so I just paid and left. I won’t be asking for her again.

I have gone for face wax and the lady has brutally pulled my skin and despite of telling her that I am in pain she did not acknowledge it and kept arguing. I had to buy an ointment which costed me more than the waxing price.

Don’t waste your time and money here.my shellac manicure chipped a day after getting them done here, staff was rude during my experience and my nail artist even stopped mid way through my appointment to answer her cell phone twice.

I went to Paris Nails today to get an acrylic set, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing in preparation for my graduation on Wednesday. I was looked after by Julie, who is extremely talented, friendly, and knowledgeable. She took my vision and made it a reality. Will be coming back!

Terrible customer service went there and the front desk lady didn’t greet me, was told one price over the phone once I got there another price was given to me. I would never recommend them and I would never go back.

Super expensive and my nails turned out horrible. I kept asking her to fix stuff and in the end they or just not good. I will never be going back. And now I have to go get my nails redone at my regular place which I should have gone to in the first place. Please people do not waste your time here.

I'm giving 2 stars because the first time I came here I had a great experience. The second (and last) time I came here, nail tech cut 2 of my nails too short, didn't have the colours that I wanted and wasn't really helpful or patient with letting me pick a new colour, kept trying to force variations of my first pick. As she was painting my nails I realized it was the ugliest my nails have ever looked and I asked her to take it off so I could just go home. I paid $30 to have my nails cut too short and to almost cry in public because I just wanted nice nails for the holidays but apparently that is too much to ask for. BTW my ask was regular nail polish manicure. Not shellac or any extras. Also as you can see in the pic she didn't even take off all the glitter polish lol bye bye $30. Also please do not go here if you are getting regular polish instead of shellac because you will feel pressured to change your mind the whole time and if something goes wrong they will blame it on the polish.

They changed the price on me. Told me a price at the beginning then whispered with another employee and told me something different at the end. Messy inside, they rush and don’t do a good job

This has been the worst possible experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. They should definitely be shut down. Staff was extremely rude and aggressive, the lady kept pulling and shoving my hand & literally never said a word to me. She completely ignored me the whole time. I told her I didn’t want my acrylics to be thick and clumpy but she still made them very thick/clumpy and it was not straight at all. I got them done about 6 hours ago and it’s already chipping and coming off. I do not recommend this place at all.

Went here for the first time and did not enjoy my experience at all. The lady was aggressive with me and kept pulling my arm. And they use C curve tips so its impossible to get long nails here. The quality of the nails are not good. She put too many coats of nail polish and the shape was way off. I will not be coming back

It was terrible experience for me was just home and my nails were cracking went back and had some of them fixed and now they are all pealing I will never go back again

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I’m currently sitting here with shellac polish allll over my skin and cuticles. I specifically told them I am a picky person and like things neat and professional. They don’t even listen when you talk just nod and say yes for a quick sale. Worst nail salon I’ve ever been to.

Absolutely horrendous people skills from the person waxing and doing the pedicure to the manager! I’ve never experienced this before. No massage after the pedicure — And an uneven application of polish. The pedicure was finished and the technician (?) just got up and walked away. I was floored and left sitting in the chair!
I’m assuming the race was on for the next customer! The manager …. Equally as rude! She basically told me that I was paying cash and when I said that I was short and I’d just debit, she told to just go take some out so that i wouldn’t have to pay tax …. Not sure I was the one she was concerned about here as she ended up not charging tax at all … I told her that I would go ahead and debit and she really didn’t want to let it go.
The service on my eyebrows? Let’s just say that I look like one of those toddlers whose parent (s) drew dark eyebrows over their child’s original ones. ‘Not dark’, which is what I said several times was clearly ignored! We’ve been in Oshawa for two weeks and oh how I wish that someone had warned me about this place. Never again!

I have been going to nail salons since the mid 90's and this was by far one of the worst experiences.
I went for a pedicure, my usual spot was booked solid, so I decided to try. I knew it would be more expensive b/c it is in the mall, but went anyway.
When I walked in I was greeted with a hi, the nail colour basket was put on seat and I was told to 'sit'.
The utensils didn't come out of a sanitized bag, as I am used to, she didn't scrub my feet well (I don't need a razor to be used), my nail she cut my right big toe nail crooked and it was too short to fix, the nail polish used was like the bottom of the bottle (I did say I didn't like it and she told me there will be other coats put on), the lotion used, didn't come out of a bottle, but on a plate (like it was left over or something), she didn't rub the lotion in, I was left there to have my nails dry and another (I guess regular customer), had to ask another lady to check if my nails were dry. She checked it and then walked away, I was left to sort out my flip flops on my own (all the wile hoping I didn't eff my nails up). No one made eye contact with me when I went to pay.it was like they were waiting for my money and for me to get lost.

I will NEVER go back there and will stick to my normal spot. They know how to treat customers and I always leave happy.

Got a shellac manicure here and I won’t be going back. Wasn’t too pleased when I left and noticed not only was the shellac lumpy and uneven, but the woman who did my nails didn’t even cut one of my nails and left it significantly longer than the rest which looked ridiculous. Got them done on a Wednesday and by Friday I had three nails peel and another two break. Had to go somewhere else less than a week after my appointment in order to get them re-done.

Had a solar gel refill with shellac today. Service was very disppointing. Staff were unfriendly, pulling and throwing my hand back, while barely speaking at all. Had no issue standing at the cash, chatting with other staff, while staring at me and waiting for a tip though. I always tip, but it was quite bothersome.
Quality was not great either. Design looks nothing like I requested, despite showing a picture and getting no question or a request to show it again. I have a French and you can see a mess underneath as a base polish with a nude and/or pink wasn't used.
Stations were also not cleaned. Dust and clipped nails all over, old polish and just overall not clean.
Super disappointed! Will not return, nor recommend.

I have been coming here since it openand have nothing bad to say my mother inlaw use to come with me now my husband comes we have always been treated well and have great service trythe pedicure with the parifan it's the best and relaxing

Worst place ever to get your nails done! Paid $130 for gel nails for them to fall off in less then 5 days! Worst nail salon will never go back! Save your money go somewhere else

Worst pedicure I have ever received. My toe nails were hurting the next day, they were cut improperly and digging into my skin which I have NEVER experienced in my life. They convinced me to get the deluxe pedicure and did not remove cuticles?

I walked in and has pedicure done didn't have to wait that long. Happy with the service and my feet fell amazing, the staff are friendly and cheerful. Highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Paris nails for at least 17 years. I do try other places but they do not live up to how Paris Nails does my pedicures and manicures. Their prices are competitive. They treat me very well, always friendly and kind. Diane who does my nails and wax always makes sure I leave happy and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. I for one am a very happy customer still after all this time.

I went for a walk in for pedicure. Happy with the result and service. 5/5 would recommend you get your nails done here. Will return in the future.

Annie and all the Paris Nails girls are extremely professional, courteous, hard working and so accommodating. I've been going to Paris Nails for almost 20 years and I would highly recommend it! Keep up the great work. Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome every time I come in.

I have been getting my nails done here for the past 4 yrs - I've tried other places but always come back. Tammy and Helen are excellent, always attentive and I get frequent compliments how great my nails look!

I’ve been a Paris Nails client for more than a decade, and have always been happy with the service I have received. Currently. I see Diane, who is fantastic, but you will be happy with any of the technicians. Highly recommend!

I showed one of the nail techs the nails I wanted and exactly what I asked for was what I got and even better. She was so nice and patient as well, she was very precise on how to make sure that my nails were exactly what I wanted and more. She was very gentle and always made sure I was alright. The salon on it's own was very neat and organized. I had an amazing experience I most definitely will be going back in the future to get any other services including my nails.

I have been coming to Paris nails at the Oshawa Centre for over 10 years and have always had amazing service from all the ladies that work there. I will continue to come back and recommend to all my friends.

I came in first thing at 10am and was able to get in. Tami helped me right away and did a relaxing pedicure and eyebrow wax. I like that’s it’s right beside the mall entrance doors so I don’t have to walk far into the mall. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

I usually do my own nails (either shellac, gel, or acrylic) but decided to treat myself and get my nails done at a salon. Biggest mistake ever. First of all, my cuticles were cut so short that I was bleeding, she kept sticking cotton on the cuts to try and stop it, so I have raw cuticles with cotton stuck in them. This is unbelievably unprofessional and dangerous (considering the potential spread of hep B & C). Secondly, she started using gel polish when I asked for shellac, when I mentioned it she told me it was shellac just in a gel bottle (okay?). After she finished my nails were all different lengths and the polish was all over my fingers. It was bumpy, and had cotton stuck in the polish. It was the messiest job I have ever seen. I figured I was just overreacting, but when I stepped outside after paying I was like no, this just isn’t worth $55. I went back inside and asked for a refund, to which she said she could only give me back half. I argued this because even considering the cost of materials it definitely doesn’t add up to $27 worth of polish. She insisted that it was policy, so I took the half and left. TRUST ME: do not go here. Go anywhere else.

I got acrylics done there a few days ago and the lady did an okay job, the shape was really nice and they are thin but the paint is all bumpy and uneven as well she didn’t clean up the acrylic from around my nails so now my cuticles are all dry and cut up.as well she sliced my finger open and didn’t even say sorry.the next day one of my nails fell off and i went back and the manager did my nail.she seemed to not care at all about me or how they looked and just wanted to get it on because the one nail looks so bad compared to the rest.

Awful. I guess you get what you pay for. Although I barely got that. Nail polish that I've had to pick off my skin, had to tell the girl 7 times that it wasn't the shape I wanted, nail polish not even over the whole nail.

I came here for the very first time and the service was poor. The women who did my nails was not knowledgeable. She did ask me before doing anything so giving 2 stars. But she doesn't know to put any designs and they charge too much!

All I did was calling to this spa and ask for pricing (acrylic nails, w/ no shellac). The receptionist that answered the phone on March 15,2019 around 11: 30 AM was very rude. Instead of saying, "Good morning, this is Paris Nails. How can we help you? " No. All I got was, " this is Paris Salon, what do you want? ". The pricing for what i wanted was reasonable and was about to go. But, whoever I spoke to that morning was very rude, i no longer wanted to go and I hope any other customers do not encounter the same way I got greeted that particular morning.

Horrible service why do they charge 10$ for long nails when there already long? What a RIP off I dont know why people support people like this!
