Thor loves going to Paris Veterinary Clinic so much I can hardly hold him back trying to walk in. The vets are so kind, gentle, knowledgeable, they make Thor feel like part of the family.

Thank you for your email. It is unfortunate that this situation has turned out the way it has and we are extremely disappointed in your position.

First, in response to your points below, the VCA Canada website states that “If your cat has been sick with an ear infection for a while, they might be acting sleepy or lethargic, and might not be eating much anymore”. To me, it seems like the symptoms I explained during my visit would absolutely support a possible ear infection and I would have expected a knowledgeably trained veterinarian to pick up on that. In addition, the Merck Veterinarian Manual states that “your veterinarian will examine your cat’s ears at every routine checkup”. If an ear check is routine as stated, I’m very surprised that when an ill cat comes in you wouldn’t at minimum have completed this step?

Honestly, at no time did the vet check Zoe’s ears. Our expectation is that for the $475 we spent during our initial visit we would have at least received the minimum level of care, and if a routine check was not completed then you would do that in good faith. It’s also disappointing that a simple routine ear check could have prevented us from spending hundreds of dollars on a blood test, that was clearly unnecessary, and now because of your team's oversight we are forced to pay extra for a routine ear canal check that should have been completed the first time. I think any reasonable person would share our frustration.

In regards to your example of a neurological examination, I think this is a far cry from the actual situation presented here and comes across as trying to insult our intelligence. To me your veterinarian clinic seems to be more interested in money grab opportunities, while seeming to enjoy gouging your patients instead of truly caring about the wellbeing of the animals.

In all honesty, I hope the $65 (on top of the $475 that we already paid) is worth the mound of bad publicity your clinic is going to be receiving.

The staff are so wonderful. They truly care about our furry friends and their wellness! The level of service is unmatched!

The entire staff are friendly and kind. They have taken care of both our dogs and now our new kitten. Dr. Aine was so kind when we had to put our Easton down. The empathy and kindness shown to us and our other dog Kipling who was with us there was something I will never forget. The vet tech was so kind and welcoming and dr Paulina was absolutely amazing.

Got my female service dog spayed no problems at all and my girl was attacked by another dog so she is a bit afraid of other dogs but we r working on it with a trainer

Staff was extremely friendly and made my cat, Misty, feel comfortable (she's always quite terrified when entering a veterinary clinic). This was my first time at the Paris Veterinary Clinic as we moved to Paris in 2021. Clinic was clean and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would 100% recommend Paris Veterinary Clinic.

Knowledgeable, patient and kind. Only thing is, a very populist office so not always easy for last minute visits. The office does try to fit you in but we have had to go to the emergency vet a few times

They got my cat in quickly friendly and very knowledgeable. Pricing for exams & food is good. Been going here for years and even with some new staff they never disappoint.

From day one, Paris Veterinary Clinic has treated us like family and our dog like their own. Luxy actually looks forward to her visits there and we recommend this clinic every chance we get. Our girls are 10 (Harlee) and 9 (Ivy). They are sisters and inseparable. While they are very friendly. They are also very picky when it comes to a Vet.

Originally, they started out at the Paris Vet. But we moved away, and went from Vet to vet and nothing was good enough for our girls.

You see at the Paris Vet, they took there time with our girls. Yes they must check them. But first they made the girls comfortable. They took their time with them. And of course kept them together for the most part.

So when we moved back into the area and the girls came back for the first time for a Vet visit. They were so happy, and so good. The Vet was playing with the girls on the floor and gave them their needles with zero issues.

When the Vet spoke with me concerning the girls. We talked for 20 minutes. He didn't rush the girls nor did he rush me.

The care and compassion of all the folks is outstanding. They are all truly in the right buisness.

This is the Vets for our girls. Absolutely perfect. Thank you all so much. And a huge thank you from the girls woof woof!

I can’t express enough how wonderful and kind all the employees were, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The vet especially I’m so bad with names so I can’t remember but she was amazing, my kitten was super calm when in the room with her which is unusual as my kitten is crazy and won’t stay still for more then a minute. kindness it’s the only vet clinic I highly recommend to people. They take such good care of my animals and my kitten got a new toy from them which she is obsessed with!

Its too bad that I have to write this review as it appears that most people like this clinic.
After searching for a mobile vet for 1.5 weeks for the euthanizing of our beloved kitty we were told to reach out to Paris Veterinary Clinic as they have a mobile vet. After checking their website to make sure we were not mistaken before contacting them, we confirmed that in fact they did do in home euthanization. I reached out to them and asked how I go about making an appointment for my kitty as she was not doing well. I received an email back referring me to someone else. Although this was great, I contacted them again but by phone this time and mentioned that I thought they were mistaken in my request as their website clearly states that they do this service. I was told that "No, we don't do this right now because of Covid". Well, all mandates are lifted and coming into a house if the people and you are wearing a mask is no different than coming to your clinic and all parties wearing a mask. We ended up having to take our cat in a vehicle to the vet (she is not fond of going in vehicles or going to the vet). She had a stroke when we got there (which is what we were worried would happen) and did not rebound in any way prior to us having her put down. I want to thank the Burford Veterinary Hospital for their loving care and for taking us so quickly when all of the "Mobile Vets" we reached out to either didn't respond at all, said they would call back and didn't, or said they didn't come to our area. Shame on you!

I have two pets that are really well taken care of here. One just had a major surgery and they made her feel so comfortable and helped me along the way with her recovery process. Highly recommend this place!

Difficult to express the appreciation we feel for the staff at Paris Vets under the circumstances. We had to put down our beloved pet of 18 years. They gave us a room all to ourselves with a bed for our girl who immediately made herself comfortable while we gave her treats they provided. The vets assistant explained the procedure in detail and left with our girl to prepare her, she returned with her as we waited for the doctor to come in. When the doctor came in she sat on the floor and asked us about her life, the adventures she had all the while petting our girl. She expressed such kindness and compassion we felt like she was an old friend who knew our girl and was providing much needed comfort as we would need to get us through this most difficult transition. She told us to stay as long as we wanted after she gave her the injection. We felt so comforted by both of the attendants. I would refer anyone to these lovely people who, truly care about animals and their owners.

We took our new Belgium Shepherd Puppy, this is a great place.carring, efficient, professional.

We have been trusting the team at Paris Vet to care for our dog Cooper since we moved to town 4 years ago. They have helped us out with many surgeries from a torn ACL - removal of 2 lipomas - a diagnosis of Cushing's disease - treated ear infections - eye infections and most recently a diagnosis of diabetes from which they and the team at Brant Norfolk worked hard to bring him back from the brink of death. Our little man is one 'hot mess' but he is our 'hot mess' that could not be loved more if we tried. The team at Paris Vet is part of our family and we are blessed to have them caring for Cooper all these years.

The care we have received in the 35+ years of entrusting my fur babies to Paris Veterinary Clinic is the reason we now drive over an hour from our new home to the clinic. We have rejoiced, worried and cried together over our pets. Paris vets and techs are part of our family

Paris Vet Clinic is the best care we have ever gotten for our dog. They really care about your animals and we drive all the way from Mississauga because no other vet compares. We never feel pressured to spend unnecessary money and they treat Snoop like a king (he would just hang out there if we let him).

My experiences with Paris Veterinary Clinic are always amazing. The staff there are so helpful and incredibly friendly. The vets and techs are very patient and caring to my not so friendly kitty and have been very helpful in finding resources for owning a not so friendly kitty. I can't say enough about this amazing team. They really care about your pet as if it were their own at this clinic!

Their is not one thing I could think of. I am in a air cast and the stuff did everything they could to help with Sophie out in and the car for me. As well help provide me with a method of payment where I didn’t have to leave my car. It is 12/10 in my opinion!

I have been using Paris Vet and Rick Healy for years. I would not trust anyone else with my fur babies. They are compassionate, experienced and the front staff is always enjoyable as well

I have relyed on this clinic to care for our dogs and cats for 30+ years. Staff and vets have always been wonderful thru good and challenging times. The private space the clinic has provided to say the final goodbye to our fur babies is proof of their empathy.

Whether it’s routine or emergency care, the doctors and support staff are knowledgeable, highly skilled and professional. After eight years and everything from ear infections and dentistry to knee repair and emergency abdominal surgery, I have never doubted their ability or their genuine concern.

We had an emergency with our 12 year old dog. We called all the emergency vets at 3am, went as far as Toronto, no one could take her as they were all at capacity. Called Paris vet right at 8am asked if they accepted new clients as our other vet We felt was incompetent and was out for money. Right when I called Paris vet at 8am receptionist said they were fully booked, but accepting new clients. She asked me right away what the issue was. I explained what happening with our dog and she said bring her in now, I will squeeze you in. We brought her in and they took her away. We spoke to the vet in the parking lot and went over history. We got a call around noon and the vet explained to us what was happening with Rosey. Unfortunately the only thing to do was to put her down. We went back in and they have a room that looks like a livingroom. It was so nice. I held Rosey while she was put down and the vet was very comforting. Now less then a week later I have an envelope in my mailbox from them. It's a condolence card with Rosey's paw print in it and a hand written letter inside from them. I am so touched. That was above and beyond. I will never take my animals anywhere else. This place is AMAZING even through a difficult situation.

Our experience with Paris Vet as been very good! We use Dr. Barbosa who comes to the farm to treat our animals. He is a very good vet who takes the time to answer our questions and he works with us to find a safe and cost effective way to treat our animals.

Helpful staff, friendly. My favorite part about this clinic is that they don't always try to scare me into getting certain shots for my dogs.

We love PVC, we (more specifically, our dogs) have been clients of theirs ever since we relocated to Paris 13 years ago. We highly recommend them. The veterinarians, vet techs and admin staff are all knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient. We will continue to recommend their services.

Being new to the area we were in need of a new vet for our Old English Sheepdog. Paris Veterinary Clinic responded to my inquiries quickly. In these times of Covid a trip to a vet can be challenging but the staff here were friendly, welcoming, and very informative. This clinic will definitely be our new veterinary service for all of Marley’s health needs.

We have had such wonderful experiences with every vet we have interacted with at your clinic both small and large animal.

Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. They answer questions or get answers to those questions they can't answer. I e mail them if I need to know something (how cats react to essential oils for instance). The Drs there are great and follow up on the care of my cats I have there. Been with them long before my oldest cat was a kitten 12 years ago.

Paris Veterinary is the best clinic we’ve ever been to. Since our dog was a puppy we have lived in 3 different cities before finally settling in Brant County, so we’ve been to our fair share of good vets!
The administrative staff, vet techs and vets are all extremely good at what they do. They know their stuff, they don’t try to “up-sell”, and I know my dog is always in the very best hands. The waiting room is inviting and comfy, everything is clean and organized and it’s just an overall friendly environment. I was also very impressed with the pandemic policies they had in place to do their part to flatten the curve, while still giving my fur baby the very best care. I highly recommend PVC and will continue to.

When our dog was hit by a car and subsequently needed major eye surgery, I was so grateful to be able to lean on PVC, and their referrals and advice. 3 years later, our lab/shepherd continues to be happy and well, and the worst day of my life (her accident) was truly made manageable by such caring, and helpful people at this special place.

They took care of our emergency situation with Maggie even though they were already very booked up. The doctor was very professional and kind. Maggie is doing so much better already! Thanks to all the staff for your quick help!

Great veterinary clinic! We been taking our dogs here for many years. Excellent service, and trust the staff there too! Convenient location as well. May be a little more expensive, but well worth it for the care they provide. Very well organized too!

Dixie was there for a heart worm test and it was really quick. My other dog Maggie was there for her exam and needles and test and the tech and vet were excellent with her.

Everyone at Paris vet has a heart for animals. They love my dogs and cats. I find the price to be a little high but I haven't done any comparison shopping because i know my animals are well looked after and honestly that is what matters most to me. So maybe the price is right in the ballpark with everyone else out there:)

Paris vet has been my go-to Veterinary Clinic for years. They are very reliable, provide excellent service, and always leave me feeling taken care of. Even when I moved to Toronto 7 years ago, I stayed with Paris Vet because I knew I would never find the value they offer at any other Clinic.

Paris vet has been fantastic to our furry family of 2 Morkies, and Australian Shepard and a cat! We had an emergency one time which was quite expensive they did the surgery and worked with me for payments. They also did some of it for free of charge! When ever I have an issue with a pet they are quick to make sure we get in and get seen! They have always made us feel like our animals were important. They are a little pricey but you honestly get what you pay for!

I've brought both my german shepherds to paris vet clinic and received great service! Rachel- one of the vet techs was very helpful, patient and great with my drama queen dogs!

Even given the current situation, the staff and veterinarians made bringing in my pet for her annual shots, an easy and enjoyable experience. I can give them nothing but kudos for their service and professionalism.

Worst experience ever, I get told the doctor was not in and to leave my information, did that. After that, a woman picked up the phone and refused to give her name after introducing myself and stated the Doctor had already left for the day. This was after I spoke to the receptionist who told me the Doctor I had requested was IN! The woman who picked up the phone afterwards decided to use a snarky tone and hung up, after requesting to leave my number so the doctor would ACTUALLY contact me instead of dealing with an incompetent staff of receptionists and Rachel.

Back in the fall my kitten got into an unlucky situation that involved getting his head stuck in a chair and I had no way to leave the house to get help. I was new to town and had no one else to call so I called the Paris Vet Clinic. Their technicians Stephanie and Kyla jumped into a car and arrived at my house within 15 minutes to help me. I apologize that this review is so late, but I am very appreciative of all your help that day and have been recommending your clinic to everyone I meet in the area since!

The best Vet out there. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone! Both our English Mastiffs enjoy going to the vet and getting the liver treats! The staff is great and very friendly and professional.
