We have been going to Dr Zak for a couple years now and are soo happy with our experience. Our 2 Rotties (Kappo & Kylo) are not fans of the vet and not good doggie patients to say the least, and Dr Zak is always super patient and kind. Our past vet would just want to sedate the dogs and to give them their shots but Dr Zak let’s us go back with him and the vet tech and assist in calming our dogs while he does the exam and gives them their shots. We can’t thank Dr Zak enough for making the best of stressful situations.

I'm so happy I found this veterinary practice! The front office is calm and welcoming, the receptionist pleasant and helpful. Dr. Zack is a wonderful vet, caring for my cat with kindness and consideration. His assistant Lucas is so helpful. I haven't met any other people who work there yet, but I can highly recommend Parkside Animal Hospital.

I always feel confident that my dog is in good hands whenever I bring him for a problem or checkup. Staff are professional and welcoming and make my dog feel at home.

I came to this professional vet by pure coincidence! He is such a wonderful vet, he treated my baby dog and saved his life. From now on this is my regular hospital.

Do your homework. Worst vet experience I’ve ever had, do not bring your animal here!
I got my dog neutered and his dew claws removed at parkside animal hospital. At the pre op I was satisfied with the vet and the price. I did however ignore a few red flags. 1 being they have no examination rooms, He talked to me in the waiting area and then took my dog to this back room and I couldn’t go with him. Second red flag was it was so empty (no other patients) and they booked us in so soon (when all other places had long waiting lists). Unfortunately, I ignored these red flags and went ahead based on the low cost. At the post op the vet was instantly very rude to me as he was not happy with how everything was healing. He accused me of taking the e collar off my dog and that my dog was licking and said it was my fault it all looks bad, it has nothing to do with his work. I told him that I hadn’t taken it off and he kept arguing with me. He has absolutely no bedside manners, he was talking to me in a condescending and inappropriate manner. He then proceeded to yell at his vet tech and also talk to her in a condescending way. Yelling at her for not being able to hold my 70 pound dog up, telling her to grip him harder and don’t let him squirm as he is yelping in pain. He then proceeded to put staples on his incision where his dew claws were removed since the first time he only put one stitch therefore they were not able to close and heal. I could hear my dog screaming from the pain and his receptionist was turning up the volume on the tv trying to drown out the cries of my dog. At the initial meeting he said it’s not about the money it’s about the animal, boy was he ever lying. He didn’t treat my dog with any sense of love or care. If you look at Zakis history, he has been jumping from place to place (probably keeps getting fired). Whatever you do, don’t bring your pets here! It’s not worth it to save a few bucks

As a first time dog owner, I was a little nervous about finding a good, affordable, and reliable vet but Parkside checks all of the boxes! Dr. Zak is so amazing and always makes sure he sits down with you to discuss what he’s doing during each appointment. I’ve never felt anything “pushed” on me, he just shares his knowledge and I trust him fully! Every time you walk through the door you’re greeted by a friendly face behind the desk as well! Miss Callie loves the team and so do I! Definitely recommend this vet for anyone searching:)

Great and reiable service. Maged is so professional and spent enough time to calm our dog before his operation. He also explained what to expect the following days after surgery.

I took my dog Charlie to Parkside Animal Hospital and he was so well cared for! Charlie has suffered with unknown bumps on his chin since the fall and the staff at Parkside Animal Hospital really took the time and effort to ensure they knew the exact cause before giving him any unnecessary medication. They really have our pets best interest at heart and I will continue to bring all my pets to Parkside Animal Hospital from now on!

This clinic is the best clinic I’ve ever seen for pets. My dog went and he was so happy and the doctor was professional. The doctor knew what he was doing exactly and my dog was so happy and felt safe. Like these days it’s so hard to find a professional doctor. Trust me if you bring your pets this clinic you will never regret.

Dr. Zaki and his team were wonderful with my dog Charlie. At just 11 months old, Charlie's been through the ringer in terms of health problems. Dr. Zaki was very nice and receptive to my concerns. Didn't push for certain medications like I've experienced from other vets in the past. For him, it felt like he wants to do right by charlie and won't drag on testing like another vet wanted to prior to me changing vet clinics. I can appreciate doctors who truly want what's best for their patients and not their own wallets. Thank you Dr. Zaki for meeting my needs and concerns for today's visit and we look forward to working with you until Charlie is 100 percent back to normal. This animal clinic is absolutely amazing. Everyone is very helpful and do everything possible to keep the pet owners calm. The vet, Dr. Maged Zack is very kind, he takes care of the pets and always keeps the owners in the loop so they would know every step of the treatment if needed. He performed my dog’s surgery and we could not have asked for a better vet. Truly amazing clinic and staff.
