For $180 (tax included) per night, that would be great if the room had a microwave also no shampoo in the bathroom, but beds were very comfortable.

I was driving around looking for a place to rest. The motels prior to Parkview were all full. A few things to note:

1. Finding this motel wasn't easy. The Christmas lights were helpful. I recommend a Las Vegas strip sign with an arrow pointing at this establishment.
I was surprised at what I found.

2. The place seemed deserted. Two vehicles parked by the main house. The owner is struggling.

3. He had opened the door for me when I approached indicating his business rarely gets visitors. His home is cozy, he's a hunter with two deers infront, memorable news clippings behind the counter, a proud father? Ducks were seen on the counter. He likes to hunt. A good indicator he is down to earth. A humble owner.

4. Wifi available, a brand new fridge, and a flat screen TV on a swivel. A room with 2 queen sized beds for $110, seems to be the norm price as I drove across the country.

Side note: Gas prices are expensive in isolated and rural areas approximately $0.20 more per litre; the city prices in Ontario is not that far off from Alberta prices. Ontario's infrastructure is booming. I saw 7 cranes in the city, their industry is prospering. I am surprised their gas prices are nearly within Alberta prices.

5. The room smells good. Clean. No dust. I had the corner unit, closest one to the main house.
To reiterate, I have spent enough time in motels to accurately deduce and give a full review of my stay in terms of comfort, and hospitality. Filipinos are big in hospitality we are kind, and accommodating in nature. Also a lot of us are doctors and nurses.

TL;DR – the best place I have stayed at compared to The Jolly Lodger Motel, a sub-group from The Russell Inn in Manitoba.

Just keep driving. 0 stars if I could. The whole place smelt bad and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Hair and dirt on the bathroom floors, along with a dead spider. Just felt gross being inside - I didn't even get under the blankets it felt so gross

Absolutely disgusting place. Dead spiders and hair on the floors. I don't think the place had been cleaned all year. I would even get under the blankets to sleep. The GPS direction do not take you to the motel, but rather down a dead end dirt road. Do not recommend.

Don't expect much here. Dainty motel with mediocre rooms. Place could really use some cosmetic repairs. Owner is not very friendly, internet is slow and is spotty, quite expensive for what you get. And one funny thing is this motel is in northern Ontario which is in Central standard time but he rents under EST time zone so you actually lose an hour in your rooms. Just keep driving and find a better place to stay.
