Very well stocked but have inexperienced staff. Basically have to do all the problem solving yourself.

My go to place for getting decorations and helium filled balloons! You can either get them filled immediately or order and pick up on suitable time!
Staff is friendly, plenty of space for parking too!

Funny enough the Halloween selection seemed smaller than previous years. Although Spirit is seasonal, they really give 110%

Staff need to put in a little effort into help their customers. Not going to go into details but the staff is simply lazy at this location!

Nice staff but. I bought a helium tank lay night, blew up some balloons and this morning already had 2 on the floor. By 6pm they are all on the floor already.don't know why I threw away 50$.
I see a lot of comments about this helium tank.why isn't the store doing anything about it
Update: contacted the store and they sent me a gift card to compensate.

Just go to Amazon, Walmart or Dollarama. I can't see this place surviving much longer.

Balloon ordering and pick up is soooo unorganized. There should be signs.you don't know where to order, where to pick up. You stand around and no one even acknowledges you. We were waiting in line (so we thought) to pick the balloons after waiting 30 min - and one was missed- only to see another customer being served instead. Those preparing the balloons do not seem happy, you just get blank stares.

Worst customer service. Attendant with her AirPods without paying attention. This place is a joke

This is a great Party City location, in particular if you're looking for balloon arrangements. The staff are super friendly and they can help you design a great looking ballon arrangement for any occasion. They are typically well stocked as well. They have a very large parking lot so always easy to find a spot.

Excellent service! I was looking for a costume and the representative made sure I found everything I was looking for.

Yet to have a good experience halloween costume shopping. Same story every year. Seem to be out of stock on a lot of things, but the customer has no idea until they can get a sales person to scan the barcode.

Why not have some indication on the board if something is in stock or not? Also, not even October yet and were out of stock of multiple styles and sizes.

Usually end up buying from Walmart or Amazon instead, disappointing.

It's okay.i don't generally rank a store with only 1 cashier open very high; idc how many people are in line; 1 person or 6 people, no one likes to wait.

What a frustrating experience! I looked online to find a particular costume wig and drove a far distance to this location since it was listed as in stock. When I arrived, the item wasn’t visible on the shelves so I asked someone at the front desk where I might be able to find it. She said they probably didn’t have it but she would look in the back. She wasn’t gone even 10 seconds before she came back and said no, they didn’t have it in stock after all. Clearly she didn’t want to spend the time looking and couldn’t be bothered. What a waste of time!

This is a huge store never seen so many items in one place if you need it for a party they got it

Melissa was very mean and did not want to help me, she instead continued to be on her phone. Managers do not care either. Bad location.

My balloons popped as soon as I entered my house & party city replaced them.

Worst service here. There is a balloon store across the street on North Queen. Half the price and twice as fast.

Bought $150+ worth of goods, including a number of balloons that were scheduled for next morning pickup. During pickup, Melissa prepared the order and yelled across the entire retail space, asking if I need the receipt back.
Expecting that the order is put together properly, I politely declined the receipt (don't make the same mistake).
Arrived home to realize that part of the order was missing. Called the store back, they confirmed that they messed up the order asked to come back to pick it up.
Having to take time off a busy workday to drive back, I wasted another 30 minutes waiting to be serviced, and when the store manager Andrea finally arrived, she confirmed that they are indeed very sorry, and all they can do is waive the cost of the missing items (less than $10). Had to wait another 10 or so minutes to receive the refund, since for whatever reason they said it can't be done through original means of purchase and had to dispense cash.
Moral of the story - terrible experience and no respect for your time + half the balloons deflated within a couple of hours. Won't be bringing my business back here again.

Terrible service from some employees, especially the one cashier, I think her name was Merissa or Melinda or something like that.

That cashier kept pulling her mask down to talk to myself and her co-workers. I requested she put her mask on properly, but she brushed off my request. I purchased a bunch of balloons and a bunch of items around $200 worth, When I was paying she said there were a couple orders ahead of mine and that it would be about 15 minutes. I waited for about 50 MINUTES to be served with my balloons, after purchasing them! Even after she told me it would be 15 minutes tops! And every time I mentioned I was still waiting the cashier fully brushed me off so she could work on her labels in the line area.
Eventually she started my order and I figured it would be about 5 minutes until they were complete, but she just started helping another customer from start to finish on their order. Eventually a manager had to come up and finish my order about an hour after I had purchased them. They apologized for the wait, I think their name was Nida. But overall terrible customer service from that cashier, I hope it was her first few days as that was terrible service.

I will say there was an exceptional customer service rep I think was named Karma, she helped me find everything else I needed, and also informed me where to find the balloons and how that system works, I think that cashier needs to learn how to deal with customers like this customer service rep does.

Overall, If you are looking for any quick or timely service for some balloons I would suggest anywhere else or just getting a helium tank and filling your balloons up yourself.

Nice party store with all your party needs, nice balloon center there also with very good pricing. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Don't come here if you want to check out, even without lineup or if you want any balloons. They advertise balloons that they don't have, I asked for multiple that are up on their wall and they were all out of stock.

They can't check other stores or do anything that is helpful once they false adverise their balloons

Slow service, quite high prices. I also did not like that they cannot process your pre-orders on helium balloons over the phone. The reason is that they “cannot process payments over the phone”…

I like the variety of items that Party City. However I've been to the same store twice (in two consecutive weeks) and I've seen a lot of missing product shelves.

I cannot get through to this location by pgone. They are open but when I call I get the message "the customer you are calling is unavailable". How is this possible? Here for curbside pick up and cant get through to the store inside. Not to mention I'm here because I picked up an order earlier and they missed half of my items. My mistake for trusting their service and not verifying every individual item.

I have probably called a total of 40 times between my work phone and cell phone to try and get a hold of someone in the past 4 days - NOT including the amount of calls i made while i was standing outside at the door. The phones go straight to busy, and when someone finally picks up, you're on hold for 3 minutes and they hang up on you.i understand that we are still in a pandemic and it is only curbside services, however, if you're going to offer these services pick up the phone.i waited at the door for 20 minutes knocking and calling 14 times in a row. I placed an order online but i only decided to go with 1 balloon, because if i relied on you guys for a bunch of balloons and you didnt come through, then i would be even more disappointed than i am now. I think 20 minutes knocking and calling is more than enough time to wait before i decide to leave.zero stars if i could.

They literally have anything you might want for a party. Wow. Now some of this stuff you csn find elsewhere cheaper.at a dollar store.but if you are pressed for time and don't mind spending a few dollars more youneill be amazed at the section. Wow.

After less than 12 hours after picking up the balloons for my daughter’s birthday they were no longer floating in the air but lying on the floor. For the amount of money it costs to fill their balloons I would have expected them to last longer than a day

Balloons did not last even for 2 days. They looked good used Saturday afternoon by Sunday evening they came down.

The online ordering system is useless. It shows they have items which you are able to order and get a confirmation but when u go to pick up they don't have it.
Don't waste your time trying to see what they have in stock or order anything online.

Employees make or break party city and honestly this place they make it!

Only time I would of gave this place a 1 star is when it was a off day and I needed balloons filled and they left one Employee to do cash and fill balloons

We placed an order for pick up for (among other things) a Grim Reaper costume (that was supposed to have light up eyes) and a Grim Reaper's Scythe.

2 days later we received a notification that the order was ready for pick up. When we arrived to pick the order up, we discovered that the Scythe was not in the order (despite it being on the invoice, and us being charged for it).

While we waited for them to fetch the Scythe we discovered that the eyes on the Grim Reaper costume did not light up.

While waiting for them to find a costume where the eyes DID light up, we did a bit of wandering around the store and decided to buy an inflatable lawn ornament (an inflatable Grim Reaper). That inflatable lawn ornament was later discovered (after returning home) to be full of holes and so would not fully inflate.

The return process for the inflatable lawn ornament was quick and straight forward. Everybody at the store was very helpful and polite at every step during our purchases/returns.

However, I don't think we'll be ordering anything online from Party City again, and if we ever buy anything in store, we're going to be sure to inspect it thoroughly to make sure it works as they don't seem to have much in the way of quality control.

The staff are very nice and helpful however every time I've gone there, there was always only one cashier working so the service was quite slow.

Can be very beussy at sometimes and they need more cashiers went on weekend and there was 10 ppl in line and 2 on cash but one was in trainning

Poor system for buying balloons. Apparently you have to go in store to place your order. I feel like we are going back in time. Don't try to call because they aren't helpful, and don't let you know you will have to wait an hour to get your order. Wish they told me that when I called.

Super friendly staff and very accommodating. They took care of ny balloon order even though there where plenty of pre orders to be done. Prices are kinda high and the quality is cheap but its a specialty shop for single events.

The selection is really good but the store on every visit is torture at checkout. There is always a giant line all times of the day. For years. 3 reasons.always understaffed. Unstaffed checkout terminals.and taking forever endlessly and slowly inflating balloons. AND they keep taking phone calls.about balloons. Miserable. Enough with the endless balloon labour!

This location has a Post Office at the back of the store. The staff are friendly and helpful if you need birthday cards or small gifts

This location is a lot better than other locations. I find they have a lot more variety of supplies.

Crowded and only 2 people cashing people out. I couldnt find anyone to assist me, something that should have taken less than 5 minutes, took me half an hour.

Staff are working hard to help people but the selection of costumes for kids was terrible. Out of 12 costumes, they had 1 or 2 in stock for the size we were looking for. I probably wont chance wasting my time going there next year.found a new place on queensway and east mall which had everything I was looking for. Check out Spirit Halloween.

My first visit ever to a Party City. Amazing decorations, hard to find candy, cool costumes, and really neat things I haven't seen anywhere else. One of my new favourite places to browse for the unknown.

Not sure of the bald guy with glasses is store manager. But hes one condescending p****. He was extremely rude to customers in front of me. He assisted them with their refined but then told them that he had a throw everything away that they brought back and that he's not required by law to give a refund if you didn't want to. It was a discussing show customer service. He could simply said here is your refund, I apologize for the confusion, just for future reference I would like to let you know that we do not accept refunds on this item.

Consistently a clean well stocked store. Usually the staff are very helpful, sometimes the wait for a cashier is unreasonable but this is typical of many box stores, hopefully Canadian Tire will fix the problems.

Large facility with tons of options. Great stop if you're hosting any kind of event or need a last minute halloween costume. Staff are friendly too.

This party city is huge! I mean I suppose I havent been to a ton of different ones, but, this one feels like a massive store. And luckily, it has the inventory to back it up.

It's full of tons of different stuff, year round, and is a go to place for my partner and I when were sourcing costume pieces and even props for our theatre pieces.

We've always received friendly service, and while the prices for some items can be high, for the most part, it all ends up worth it.
