The staff and service has improved over the last few years! We're throwing a party soon, and visited to pick up quite a few items, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and knew where everything was!

I placed an order online got conformation that's its ready for pick and when I got to the store the order wasn't found and got brushed off quickly and got refunded the money.it's disappointing that I drove down and they canceled my order at the store because they can't find. They wasted my time and gas for nothing.

This party city has everything i need, plus Mari helped me with what I need highly recommend.

They have everything you could want for a themed party (nothing too extravagant) for a great price!

One stop for party supplies.some things are really cheap and some are expensive! Good customer service. The only issue was that the qty mentioned online and actual qty in store didn’t match but i got an alternative.

They have a wide range of products for a party arrangement. Quality is not good and they tend to be pricey. Customer service was not great either.

People were flocking this place today.last minute rush for Halloween costume.

Could have been managed better… but there is only so much one can do.

I love this store in general just because of the selection.
Last few times I have been noticing lots of things not in stock.
Sometimes there is only one person cashing customer out so the wait time can be frustrating but they are friendly and try their best

Place to go for party preparations. Almost everything related to party decorations are available. Prices are good as well.

There was a great selection of Halloween costumes and fast service. It's a big store with a lot of variety. Highly recommend.

Ordered an item online to be picked up at this location. The order said it will be available at this location on Wednesday August 24th but the order status says - in progress. I've been calling this store non stop for two days to confirm if the order is in store for pickup. No one picks up the phone.

Service is wonderful the staff's are friendly and the environment is always clean and they have everything that you need for all Birthdays Parties Celebrations Retirements and Weddings Celebrations.

Everything is good here but a bit pricey. Good part is a lot of choices to decorate a party, all themes but might not be the best in terms of cost effectiveness!

Every time I come to this store, I am reminded why I stopped. The employees here do not care. There was 3 people behind the counter and only 1 was cashing out a huge line. The customer cashing out went back into the store and continued shopping for 10 mins while the line got bigger. No acknowledgement, no one opening a new cash, just waiting for the customer to come back for so long. No apologies - nothing. I was picking up 2 things & it turned into being 20 mins in the store.

I recommend the Balloon Shop in Scarborough. If you want balloons from people that actually care about your experience & want you to have nice modern balloon design instead of making you feel like you’re pulling teeth from asking.

Have bought the balloon bouquet arrangement a few times now but have had similar poor experiences each time. The 9 latex balloons within the arrangement were not filled to the same size and ended up with balloons of different sizes. Have to go into the store to pick out and pay for the balloons before the pickup date, thus 2 trips are required to make a helium filled balloon purchase. I was told there is an in store pickup line clearly designated such that you shouldn't have to wait when you come back to pick up the balloons, but I waited over 10 minutes in the designated area and not one of the three cashiers checking out other customers acknowledged I was there and continued to service customers lining up to check out. It would have been faster if I lined up with everyone else. Overall poor experiences and helium balloons didn't last more than a couple of days.

Very spacious. Everything you need for a party. Minus 1 star because it was hard to find a staff for assistance.

Bought the large helium tank, which says that it will fill upto 50 9” balloons. Sadly it filled only 26 balloons and then the tank was empty. Huge disappointment on my kids birthday.

Is the phone number accurate? I've been calling for days, multiple times a day, with no answer. When I call and it rings for a while, it says enter some kind of code. Very frustrating not being able to get through.

This used to be my favorite store to get balloons for special occasions, but after receiving a balloon bouquet for my birthday where all the balloons deflated or lost their helium after 2 days, I would rather take my business elsewhere. Really disappointed as the balloon bouquet was a gift and I referred the person to this location. This was ordered for pickup ok Sunday Feb 13th, and by Feb 15th they were already falling and losing air. Clearly not good quality.

Big store with plenty of options to choose from. Please bring in more piñatas. Lots of free parking.

I use to hate going to this place because the service was pathetic and no matter how many times you called, no one ever picked up. BUT, they've hired new staff, it's much better. They answer the phone. They're more helpful and nicer.

This store is poorly organized. I feel terrible giving it such a bad score but this could change because we visit here often.

They need to find a solution for Halloween costume shopping.

Absolute worst experience. The girl from the counter doesn’t seem to know anything. I believe her her name is Ava not sure if that’s her name because her name tag was kinda covering her hijab. Everytime I ask her about an item she would say I don’t know. On top of that, i bought a balloon blown up but after 2 hours it’s deflated.

This store is great! Employees are nice. I went there on November 6 to get last minute balloons for a birthday. The worker Karina was very helpful in putting together balloon bunches for the party and was very nice. Good Job Karina!

Busiest day of the year I'm sure. The day before Halloween. Lines were expectedly long but moved quickly.

I bought these plates, cups and cutlery sets from Party city and I was so satisfied with the purchase. The colors and shapes are pretty, they did not look like plastic at all and their material is amazing. Would definitely go back there when planning another party!

I ordered letter balloons to make a name for pickup. I got them home and realized it was missing a letter, called them and they told me that they didnt have it so I wasn't charged for that one. No one told me the order was incomplete before this. I would have ordered from somewhere else. Now I need to rush to figure out how to get this last letter. Thanks for wasting my time. Very un-organized.

Placed an order and honestly didn’t expect it to be ready so quickly. A bit of a line when I arrived but it’s to be expected here on a Saturday with everyone picking up balloons. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely shop here when everything reopens.

Came here to exchange some balloons and pick up other supplies. It's a good source for all your party needs, so no issue there. Giving 3 stars for the customer service based on the cashier experience.

Basically we wanted to exchange some balloons and the first thing the cashier said "Our policy has changed based on COVID and we cannot accept items from other stores. " Which is odd because on the back of the receipt it said that you can return & exchange at any Party City. We said that's an odd policy change considering we bought the balloons the day before. We asked if he could check with his manager - turns out he was wrong and another employee did the exchange for him. Poor guy honestly probably didn't want to admit that he didn't how to do a return. A good learning experience for that cashier.

Worst party city ever. Ordered balloons from them a few times in the last 6 months and every time I go at the pick up time I’ve had to wait over 20 minutes because they don’t have it ready, their unorganized and didn’t even know which balloons I ordered. I paid for the balloon weight, they didn’t give it and I had to tell them it’s missing.
Most recently I placed an order with them they said they had what I needed, however at pick up time they said they don’t have the item. These people are incompetent and couldn’t care less about their customers. I’m boycotting this party city location.

This is the best party city in Scarbrough staff are always very kind. I recently shared and experience with a balloon order with the employees Alicia and she was very kind, patient and helpful! If you are looking for someone to provide you excellent customer service I highly recommend you speak to Alicia. Very personable and pleasant experience:)

Great local party store for balloons and other things. Great curbside service for pick up and nice balloon arrangements as well. Call ahead or order online and pick up works wonders and pick a time and your order should be ready to go. Just call the store when you arrive and they’ll bring your order right out to you.

Alisha at Kennedy location helped me above and beyond. She was so patient and kind. She found everything I needed. I’m really happy with her service and definitely I will purchase again from this store. Thank you Alisha.

Unorganized. Make sure you double check your order. They will not give you a heads up.left waiting for over 30 minutes. Didnt have my complete order. No heads up on the lack of inventory. Headache. Awful experience. Manager did nothing to rectify the situation. Never again. Smh.

Good location with ample parking. Went there two times and had to wait in line for a long time because they are always short staffed. Good collection of items.

This is one of my favourite locations to come to as they usually have items in stock. If you are ever unsure or see something on the website, be safe and call the store to confirm that it really is in stock.

This is an awesome place where one can find a variety of items for different party themes. The inventory consists of funny costumes, disposable kitchen utensils, invitation and other type of cards, decoration items etc. All in all it is a one-stop shop for your all party related needs (except food and drinks) :)

My go to place for party needs. The best thing is they email the receipt to you. So if you need to return anything, it's very handy to give your email address.

Friendly and straight to the point. Not much helpful with suggestions but I knew what I wanted so didn't matter much.

It's a great place for everyone to shop around and buy almost pretty much anything that you want to buy for any occasion's.

Totally loved it. We don't have to go through different stores, but will get most of the things for any kind of a party over there at the store. All of the employees are so nice and friendly. Not too expensive; Worth it!

We called up to check if something was available and they reserved that item for us and promptly gave it to us when we went there. Very happy with the service.

Always a busy place. Most of what time they are stuck with the popular party character options. Prices are so so. 95% of the time staff are friendly.

Great place for kids, however it does become very humid in there, lack of ventilation. I’d advise getting a new pair of socks after. Pretty dirty floor. If it wasn’t for the kids smiles wouldn’t return. Price is reasonable.

My kids love this place because of the big balloons and party stuff. Will come back again for party needs.

Polite and courteous staff, but they will charge you $1,00 for a balloon bag after paying a premium for balloons.

Hate going to this place. Went there twice and will never go again! Staff is rude. Never helpful. They dont help. And when you finally get to the cash desk.they're SO SLOW!

Lots of supplies, a little pricey on some items but convenient that alot of items being in all 1 location

What an amazing collection of party stuff this store has. From Birthday Party to fancy dress competition items, you will get plenty of stuffs. Even for organizing picnics, this store offers you cutlery choices. The only draw back which I had identified is that, this chain of store brand is a bit expensive, compared to other stores like Dollarama or Dollar Store, where you will get same items much lower prices compared to this 'Party City'. Location is ideal for shoppers, located at Kennedy Commons (401 & Kennedy Road).

Kind employees and many choices of party supplies impressed me deeply. This will be my go to place for my party supplies.

Lots of variety! But seasonal stuff sell out fast. Short on staff.one employee in particular, i guess her name is "Feribia" is super sweet, full of energy n goes out of the way to help her customers!

Coming here during the week is ok. There’s always a line up at cash. But weekends! Forget it! I order my balloons for occasions here because they have the lowest price. But the balloons are never ready at the time we ask for. They only start blowing up balloons when we arrive. This severely throws us off schedule! Come earlier than you need the balloons!

Shopping here is incredibly frustrating. The cashiers are slow, and you can never find an employee working in the aisles to help you. You will have to wander around the entire store aimlessly trying to find what you’re looking for. This place is the worst.

They legit have everything for all kinds of parties. They have lots of theme decorations as well. I went in expecting to get 1 thing for a party and ended up getting a lot more. Which is not a bad thing. My next party will be EPIC!

This should be your place to visit if you live near eglinton and have a party to throw. The space is huge and the first two aisles are just for the seasonal stuff like Easter, St. Patrick's etc - the generic party stuff is over 8 aisles where you have color co-ordinate sets from the Dining Table cover's to different qualities of forks & spoons. Please take the premium quality branded stuff as it is the best VFM for the quality provided. They have huge balloon section but it seems grossly overpriced the only reason this review lost a point is because of the price in the ballon section. The staff is very helpful, some one went through all the stuff to find a specific colored plates we wanted. I would be visiting again whenever there is a party need.

The staff are very knowledgeable about their products. I come here often for party planning ideas and they always have the latest trends in celebration costumes and decor. I love coming here and have also gotten balloons blown up here, the service was great.
