Party City

I got a balloon arangement made for my wifes birthday. I picked it up saturday around 5 by dinner time on sunday 3 of the balloons were down, 3 more a couple of hours later and by this morning all 9 latex balloons were down. I called explaining that i heve never seen them deflate this fast i would ussually get a few days for latex and maybe 5 for a mylar. The girl said it is normal and they only guarantee 12 hrs for latex and 24 for mylar. But I dont think it is normal for all 9 balloons to go down that fast.

They don’t honour their own online and email receipt policy. It’s absurd and the poorest customer service I’ve experienced.

I bought a Barbie Halloween costume online, picked it up in store with no issues. When purchasing the item I did my due diligence and read the return policy on the website which was also listed in my e-receipt - the policy states:

“Returns Policy:
Unopened items, with a receipt, in original packaging and returned within 90 days after the date of purchase will receive a refund to the original method of payment …. Note that seasonal merchandise (e.g. Christmas, Easter, and Halloween items, including costumes) may be returned up to 7 days prior to the holiday, in original condition, and with a store receipt or order confirmation email. “

So I walked in 8 days before Halloween to make my return and get my refund per the online and receipt policy. What I was told is there is a cut off date for returning Halloween items and that I’ve missed that date and would only be able to receive a store credit. I told them this was contrary to their online policy and what was on my receipt. No manager was in the store. Apparently their are two and not one was present to be able to assist me which I found odd seeing as though it’s one of the busiest times of year for the store. Instead, I was continuously told by the cashier that this was their policy - written and laminated on a piece of paper at the register and there’s nothing she can do because she’s not the manager.

I won’t be recommending party city if they chose to contradict their own policies.

Had a wonderful experience here! The assistant manager was very helpful in helping me as I have no party planning skills what so ever! (She has helped me on multiple occasions) Very patient with answering all my questions and even suggested some items that I never even thought of. After she was done helping me I finished my shopping and went up to the cash. There was a very rude customer up at the front waiting for what sounded like a balloon order. She kindly explained to the man that it was first come first serve, which by all means sounds fair. He stared at her to try to make her go faster mumbling things under his breath towards her. Constantly asking her to do his order first which would not have been fair to the customers that came before him. In my opinion he was trying to force her to put him first. He was very rude. As I got to the toll and lovely cashier helped me and rung me through. As I was leaving I noticed the lovely set up at the front desk and I stopped to look for a while. The same man was still being rude as the manager had not finished her first set of balloons. It is my opinion that if other customers are rude to the staff they should be asked to leave with a refund. I hope as a company you support your staff. I was not going to leave a review until I saw that the man painted her in a bad light in these reviews. I hope your company realizes that the staff at this location is truly amazing and friendly during these busy and trying times. Thank you guys for all of your hard work!

I bought I helium tank that was used. Did not fill 1/4 of what it normally does when I get them for my kids birthdays. I asked to replace the tank as I only have a few done. I was not given help. Do not recommend this location. Go to Cambridge.

A tad overpriced but would still be my go to for birthdays, parties, or other events. It has practically everything for events and parties. I would rather come here than anywhere else.

Overpriced and poorly ran. Placed an order 48 hours in advance and still had to wait an hour for my order to be completed. Staff were not helpful at all. Would not recommend Party City.

Ordered balloons and was not told they did not have helium which was included in price. Was forced to pay an additional $9 to have helium at toysrus

Selection was OK. Very busy for balloons. Ended up going elsewhere to get them. Nice variety of things if you are doing a party. Great variety of goodies and party themes.

Picked up balloons yesterday afternoon and this morning they were droopy, by noon they were dragging on the floor. I called the store and they said they only guarantee their latex balloons for 10-12 hours. I mentioned nobody told me that I should be picking them up the next day, and as it was, it was less than 10 hours that they gave out. I'm not impressed, and will go somewhere else next time.

I ordered helium balloons worth $50 and was told to pick them next day. When I went to pick them up next day they were not fully blown up, and started sitting down during the party.

Always visit when hosting an event for balloons good prices if buy bouquet of balloons but a little expensive if buying by singles

I should give it a 3star rating as when I asked a young man to help me get somthing of a high shelf, he just looked at me and said that it was not his department and walked away. My 5 star rating is about a you man in the meat department whom I asked if he could get me any help (I had already walked through the store 2x to find someone available) and this young gentlemen didn't hesitate he just ask where to go and he helped me.
I would give that 10 stars.

Store was empty and the staff was not friendly at all. Staff was very unhelpful when asked for help. They all seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to help or answer your questions. Seen a couple other people get frustrated as well.

Was disappointed Their stock seemed very limited I couldn't find anything I wanted for my daughter's baby shower.

75% sale sign in window. Nothing that greatly reduced. Most Christmas product not on sale. Disappointing. Helpful staff!

Ordered balloons for a work party. Order was ready on time, and as requested. Service was a bit slow otherwise staff were helpful and friendly.

Called in advance looking for a special Christmas item and they had it. Really helpful staff, lots of great suggestions from them. Incredibly stocked store.

Been here many times and the staff are have been consistently rude and unhelpful. Party supplies are OK, but slightly pricey. Not really any other options in Brantford which is really unfortunate.

Clean store with staff usually around to ask questions. Standard service you would expect from a big box store. Had a couple times with brand new cashier or another one taking a phone call over the line up in front of her. Just a couple training opportunities. Get good service during their Halloween time with more staff being in there. Usually have what I am looking for in stock, prices are a little on the high side.

Always rude, grumpy and never helpful makes for really bad customer service. This has been my experience every time I go in this store.

Party City in Brantford. Well most of the staff look miserable. Not sure if they are but thats how they look. I have bought the bundled balloons from this location the last 3 times I needed them. Im not sure whats wrong with their balloons.maybe poor quality however the first time I bought from here one of the specialty balloons lost its air by the time I got home. Second time at least 5 of the 10 lost their helium by about day 3? I was just there again for my daughters birthday party in April. I bought them Saturday night for the following day. ALL BUT 1.lost all their helium. She had no balloons for her party. I wont go back to them again. Ive told them this more then once. Dont waste your money.go somewhere else.
