Great location. Friendly and delightful customer service! I highly recommend this location.

I bought some baby shower favours and realized when I reached that the bottles were too small for what I had in mind. So put them in a bag to return. They refused as they said I had opened the box. No hygiene issue it was a party favour bottle. Didn't understand their logic that they can't sell as tape is a little scrunched.

Party City is alright. They have a wide selection of party supplies, but prices can be a bit high. Service can be hit or miss, but overall, it's a convenient option for party essentials.

Be careful bringing things to get inflated that are not bought from their store.
They will charge you for it and then pop the balloon.

I have recently visited Party City for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of party-themed items they had to offer! From balloons and decorations to costumes and accessories, they had everything that I needed for my party planning.

The store itself was well-organized and easy to navigate. I was particularly impressed by the selection of costumes for different ages and occasions. There were fun and creative costumes for children and adults alike.

Additionally, the staff was very helpful and friendly. They offered assistance when I had questions about certain items, and they even offered suggestions for items that I might have overlooked.

One thing to note is that the prices can be a bit high at Party City. But I was willing to pay the extra cost for the convenience of having everything I needed for my party in one stop. And there are also frequent sales and coupons available that can help cut down on the cost.

Overall, I had a great experience at Party City and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for party supplies or costumes. The store offered a great selection and the level of service was excellent.

Large selection of party items like toys, balloons, decorations, etc. You definitely can find most things you need. But everything is relatively pricey. Balloons go for like $10 to $20 each. The staff members weren't particularly helpful or nice though. They weren't rude or anything but it's usually teenagers who seem like they really don't care. We had a balloon letters smudged and they just chalked it up to "poor quality of balloon manufacturers". We didn't have time to argue so we let it go. The place has decent items if you need it, but if there were better options around I wouldn't go here.

Was there on Thur apr 20, around 12ish. The place was a little understaffed, but the one who was called up for cash backup was so polite and helpful. Have never been to PartyCity before, but will return and recommend.

Worst location ever! They have no stock on the things I need, and the staff have no clue what they are doing, the management is rude and disrespectful. Take your money elsewhere! Never again am I going to that Richmond Hill location.

Called this store to ask if they had an item in stock.
Lady put me on hold and never came back. Called a second time while driving to the store.
While still on hold (10+ minutes) my wife went into the store the women was there eating lunch. The item a Black Table cloth that I was asking her for was 8 feet away from her.

I go several times there. It is a bit expensive. Maybe because there is no real competition.
In holloween, I went there to buy costume. Most of them were sold out and funny part is there is no sign to show us which one is still available. We should ask the guy one by one.

Disappointed that the helium balloons we spent $60 on, only stayed up for 1 day. These were purchased on Saturday, October 15th and were down by the next day. I would recommend the “Your Dollar Store” at Leslie/Elgin Mills instead. Theirs lasted a week.

The store is pretty busy during the festive seasons like New Years, Christmas & Halloween.
They have very creative stuff for parties, weddings and just random surprises.

For the quality you get from these types of stores you would think the prices would be cheaper.

The Halloween superstore. Went for a very explicit costumes and some make up. This particular store was decorated wonderfully and the employees were happy to help.

Went to buy bday helium balloons. Went for a package. The girl who was preparing them had inch long sharp nails… while preparing the balloons - while tying each one individually she broke 3 on the row because while tying them she basically popped them with her nails.
My package was FINALLY ready and I head to the car. The moment I drove off the parking lot one ballon popped. I was very upset and late. There was no time to go back as it took soooo long to prep them due to well long nails………
I called them, left message. No body called back.

I have to give it party city.
Ever since Canadian Tire bought them, they have added quite a new twist to the stores.
The costumes this year have more stock, as well as more variety in the make your own costume.
The prizes also have more bulk options for birthday parties.
Also candies now offer 10 for 1$ type deals. Making it great to spend 10$ and you've supplied your child's birthday party.
Balloon service is quite impressive as well since they take orders on the spot.
Used to have to call in ahead to check stock.

Black long hair mid age lady …. She is so rude and she is treating customers sooo bad … I went today to Richmond hill party city. I said I want to balloons number 9 and stars, my little girl asked me for rainbow, I said do u have rainbow… she said it’s there she showed me by her hand I quickly grab one and I back she said u have go to line and wait in the back as last Customer. A gentleman was in line before me and he said pls go ahead don’t go to line again …. While she was also went out to find the items for the customer that was before me … it was ok for that lady to asked for more items but was not ok for me once my kid asked me for … such an unfair behaviour …. I was sucked she is the rude one she was very nice to blond hair lady …. Maybe she doesn’t like to talk other nationalities…. Dear store manager and dear owner.as an owner of business recommend you to monitor her behaviour every business start with customer and end with customer….

Prices are reasonable for most items I couldn’t find what I was looking for but ended up with some party favours that I needed I couldn’t find the theme I needed shelves were somewhat empty but overall it was a nice store

Omg talk about busy.

They need better signage to state you need to order at cash before lining up in the balloon line.it's right after you get to the front of the balloon counter after you've already waited 20 mins

Every year we take balloons for my son's birthday. And they always lasted a week or more. But yesterday at 7 pm, we bought balloons. Emily served us. The girl was not friendly and did not work well.as a result, the ball fell in the morning.unpleasant for the birthday boy and for us.

Although I am happy with the concept of its business model and it makes it easy to throw parties, I noticed two problems that could be done better:
1.impatient, kinda out of mood personnel.
2.the products were not complete and I did not find balloon tape and tying tool.

The employees are very rude. The didn’t help us at all. They were condescending and dismissive.

I was ordering helium balloons for a party, and had a bunch of questions. I waited by the balloon area, but no one even acknowledged I was there. Even though 2 people were on cash. I then lined up to ask my questions, and felt rushed because of the line forming behind me to pay. It felt disorganized. And overall I was not happy with my experience.

They still have very long lines. I'm not sure why. The selection of product was.just ok. Some shelves were bare, or limited to one item only.

Today I was at Richmond Hill location looking for super Mario party supplies! The shelves were empty. One of the Employees, Eric, was so amazing and helpful! He searched all the new shipments on the back to bring me all I needed! Couldn’t be happier! Great service!

Not so much of a Party mood here! The lady who is handling my balloon arrangement is very rude with no manners! She can’t seem to even answer the phone properly Please and thank you goes a long way but not here!

The store doesn't follow COVID19 protocols, the staff named Nasrin tooks off her mask exposed my newborn baby to COVID19! Nasrin you can't be ignorant to a baby's life with weak immune system during COVID pandemic!

Went there to pick up a costume for my son. When I got home the top was missing. Thanks can understand if the costume was available for the customer to pick up, but this came from the back. Didn’t think to check it before leaving as it was closed. Called the store number same night and no answer called the next morning again no answer. Finally got through in the afternoon and was told I should have checked it before leaving and there was nothing they can do. Paid full price $50.for this costume. The week before bought a costume for my daughter and had no issues.

Great variety of products to choose from. Employees are engaging and willing to assist. All my questions were answered and any assistance needed was provided.

Quite crowded due to Halloween rush. We bought a star wars toy (light sabre) but when we opened it, it was already cracked on the top and was overall poor quality. No return because they're final sale (even though we paid full price). Hoping the Halloween costumes are better.

We have been buying balloons and party supplies for ever and for every events at our home.
Bought balloons for my sons’s birthday yesterday.
The sales person was rude, arrogant and no customer service.
The latex helium balloons usually is lined with a liquid solution to give it more life, which the sale a person refused to do when we pointed out to her. Then filled balloons only 2/3rd with the helium. When we told her to fill it up more, she refused again. The balloons did not last 18 hours.
SHAME ON PARTY CITY to have such poor morals and work ethics!

Place was a mess, no customer service and the manager was very rude. I understand that the pandemic might have something to do with it but showing clients respect and some sort of humanity is important. Party city is where people come to pick things they want for a special event and it just didn't feel like that.

I ordered balloons at this location and they were delivered in a timely manner. I spoke with Dylan over the phone who did a great job to ensure my order was done correctly!
He went out of his way to make sure my order was completed on time.

Horrible customer service they messed up my order on 2 different occasion, (balloons were not ready on time) they were not apologetic about it and plain rude. They should train their staff including the Manager on duty better!

Very bad experience, and they don’t know how to help ppl properly at all. They even cannot keep the promise to have the order ready on time. Their reason is to have too many orders, instead of hiring enough staffs for their growing business. Ridiculous so ppl should help them to place order with other stores which has enough staffs to work on their orders.

Dylan at party city (Richmond hill location) went above and beyond to fulfill my online order. I had previously placed an order at the Woodbridge location who 1- shipped my order to the wrong address and 2-couldn’t fulfill my order due to a system crash. When I wasn’t getting any help at the Woodbridge location I reached out to party city in Richmond hill who were so happy to help. Dylan ensured I was satisfied with the service I was getting and ensured he would see my order was ready in time for my daughters party! This was the worst experience I ever had. I found a Sombrero pinata on the store website and when arrived at the store I asked if it is available. Girls were super busy and said that I should find it myself by looking on the top shelf which is about 6m up. After 20 minutes of my struggle (there were 5 isles full of pinatas) we could not find that Sombrero. I went back to the girl and asked to check in the system. She was very angry, checked the shelf where that pinata was supposed to be. There was no one. Then I asked the girl to give me another pinata- birthday cake.which was the last straw. She got red in the face. We just left our full cart and went out. My kids were just shocked with what happened. I will order everything online no Party City ever.

Love this store however I had to wait for over 1 hour for a balloon service. They need more staff. Great products and great prices.

Awful customer service! A disrespectful employee on helium kept me 40 mins on line to pickup a pre order which was ready all the time! She believed that she was doing me a favor!
If I was the manager she wasn't there one more minute!

Happy and colorful place but more expensive than the other stores, you can buy most of the items much more cheaper from dollarama or walmart

We bought the milk chocolate gender reveal bottle. The chocolate was a chalky white colour and the marshmallows were as hard as rocks. There was no expiration date on the packaging. The chocolate must have been sitting there for at least one year, probably two. We threw it out after we revealed the gender. Very disappointing. The staff were nice, so no complaints there.

Awful experience in this halloween. My kids didnt wanted the cape ans went to return. They dont refund. They never explained. Customer service 0. So rud. I didnt get my money back

I bought a balloon Garland kit, but when i got home I found missing the 20ft tape and i had to come back. They only found a 160 feet vine for me and i had to pay $30 more which is much expensive than the balloon kit. Kind of wast cuz i dont need thst much. Not a good experience.

Aisles are longer than most party cities, had mostly everything you'd find in others but the place looked a bit worn down

I brought my balloons to get helium, (I was ready to pay separately). They refused, they said only buy balloons from us and we filled with helium.this is called greed.

Do not purchase helium tanks from here! They basically come half empty! So disappointed with my purchase. I spoke to Erin the manager over the phone to rectify my issue and he referred to me as “white privileged b***”. Not sure how he works in the customer service industry, or how party city has been employing him for 7 years. Disgusting way to speak to people!

This shop is just a one step away from where I live.loved the variety of things they carry and pleasant and warm welcome even during this tough time.
I had one disappointment when I got to know that they don’t carry everything in store whatever they show online. I wanted to get a particular theme bday decoration for my son but the things I saw online, was not available in store.
Overall products and quality is very good and range is also reasonably good!

Horrible experience in the store. I came with the order my wife gave me with SKU's the store employees first sent me to aisle to make selection after spending half an hour and trying to get some help, another employee said that they actually have it at the cashier! But that wasn't enough!
After which they messed up all the order and didn't go by the list. This is the first time of me going to party city Richmond Hill and instead of helping me I was sold the wrong items and spent 3 times more $$$ than the list I came with. And 2 hours of stuff that not only didn't help but didn't know their product Very disappointing experience

None of the staff were wearing masks, or they were being worn around their chin and not over their nose and mouth. Customers were not following the 6ft apart rule. No distance or plexi glass at the cash.

This store is not that big and they don't have a great selection of items compared to other party city stores.

Horrible customer service and balloon quality. Lined up for a long time to pick up balloons, only to be told to go to the balloon counter to pick up. The lady at the balloon counter then sent me back in the line to pick up at the check-out counter even though my balloon order was visibly ready and sitting at the balloon counter. Also, the balloons began to deflate in under 15 hours. Ended up going to a dollar store near me to purchase more balloons and their quality is much better!

Staff was rude and seemed unwilling to help their customers. Two of the staff were not wearing masks during this pandemic and one of them coughed on us without covering their mouths. Disappointed to see some of the staff members did not abide by the safety measures posted in the store. Would recommend going to another location.

I just left this party city right now. I stood in line for sometime. When I finally got to the front, the employee at the balloon counter told me I had to go to the cashier counter first. This is after she watched me tell people behind me they could go ahead with the cashier since I was waiting for balloons. Now, all of those people were ahead of me. She also told me at this point it would be a 40 minute wait. She had many opportunities to tell me this while I was standing in line. Please teach her customer service and courtesy.

Very good selection, but still there is missing characters, but you can pick for all sorts of Parties and ceremonies

Worst experience ever. They opened the store later than their working open hours were, their attitude was awful, no desire to support, to help. My party like mood was ruined, worst service ever.

Pretty good variety of party accessories. Prices are pretty good. The staff are a bit rude and if you order balloons sometimes the order is not ready when needed.

Horrible service. They never have anything you ask for and they lack supply all the time. When they do the job, they perform it very and carelessly. By far this was one of the worst experiences as a customer.

The best place to shop for parties, but if there were more staff to help finding items, It could make the shopping experience faster!
