Food was decent, most dishes a bit salty. Bread amazing, but the sever put a 15% tip on our bill on without asking us which was rude to say the least. Just left a sour taste in our mouth.

Scrumptious Indian cuisine just at a short drive from Niagara Falls. Love their sizzler’s in this Cold weather and a mouth watering butter chicken was just so tempting.
Was surely the right place to go at Niagara with all Halal options.

This is my 2nd time ordering from this place and sadly my last. Food is good but the portions are ridiculous. 17.99 for a small bowl size of food? Not ok. Price gouging

My dining experience at Passage to India in Niagara Falls was a mix of delight and mild disappointment, prompting me to give it a 4-star rating.

Let's start with the positives—the food was absolutely delightful. It had that homemade quality to it, and the flavors were reminiscent of authentic Indian cuisine. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me satisfied and pleasantly full.

However, the one aspect that left me slightly disheartened was the buffet. The restaurant advertised a buffet outside, but to my surprise, it was only available for groups of 10 or more. This was somewhat misleading and disappointing for someone like me dining solo or with a smaller group.

Despite this, the à la carte menu offered a good variety of dishes to choose from, and the staff was accommodating in helping us select our meals.

Great food, great service, reasonable prices. I highly recommend the garlic naan and the butter chicken

Don’t recommend this place if you know what’s the taste food don’t even try here. There was a lady came from the kitchen and put her legs in front of our tables. Really Disappointed about the quality of food.

Loved the food, warm atmosphere, ordered tandoori chicken and lamb biriyani. Chicken was properly marinated. And the naan was perfect. The lamb biriyani was huge portion, but the flavours were lost with the portion size. I will visit again

Execellent food and great customer service. I specially asked them to give me extra curry for my butter chicken and they were quite generous enough not to charge me anything.

We visited this place a week ago for a dinner. The food was excellent, and the pricing was reasonable.

Highly recommend. My husband isn't big on spicy India food but he sampled the butter chicken and couldn't get enough. So much so that he went back the next day. Naan is homemade and enormous! Fries are crispy golden with a delightful crunch. Husband said if they did like a Shwarma they would make a killing.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. Please do not call your food briyani. It was terrible. The place was not even busy and had to wait 30 minutes to receive what you called briyani. Rice mixed with curry and no taste at all. My Indian friend was disappointed your ruining indias name by providing un authentic food. Did not feel like passage to India. Will not be ordering here ever again.

Tried calling the place 4 times, no one answered. I literally went to the place and their employees were just chatting doing nothing and ignoring all phone calls. Seems like their evening crew just wants to relax at all time lol.

One of the worst waitresses (with specs). One of the worst cleanliness. We asked to clean rice on the floor, she told she can’t do it. She didn’t bring onions in first place with order, when we reminded her she brought it after we ate meal.

Food was okay.

Highly understaffed restaurant. Better find something else. Avoid it at any cost.

The best Indian cuisine ️ In Niagara must try paneer tikka masala, dal makhni and butter nan ️ Best quality and quantity taste seems like we are sitting in India must visit and taste

Food was excellent. We had a few curry dishes both were fantastic. The naan was perfect but a little bit over toasted.

The place itself is pretty old and basic but comfortable.

The service wasn't great as they had only one waitress for over 10 tables but she did her best hopefully they can fix that as we had to get our own drinks and ask for water multiple times.

Also note they charge 15% gratuity for all inside dining which is actually fair as some people don't tip at all

Overall will go back as there's limited halal restaurant options in Niagara and food was excellent which is key for us.

Beware of this restaurant.

1) Food is worst and not worth the money.
2) They take 15% service charge without informing and it is included in the bill. Also you have to pay HST on the TIP/Service Charge.
3) Also, they dont have Buffet, the information is misleading.

Chicken biryani has TAMARIND in it.
The chef doesn’t know a thing about cooking. Probably Just added everything he can see and grab irrespective of the dish. Honestly, the most tasteless, stupid dishes can be found here.

Excellent customer service. Yummy food and serving size is huge. Highly recommended place to eat while at Niagara Falls!

We have been eating here every time we visited Niagara Falls over the past 7 or 8 years. Our last meal was a la carte, not buffet. It was delicious and served with the greatest of care. The price was very reasonable. Our waiter made our visit an thoroughly enjoyable experience, not just a satisfying meal. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Food was delicious. I recommend the butter chicken and the samosas (super fresh and tasty). Service was good too.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and thought to find some good Indian food to takeout. We found this restaurant nearby. We had small kids and had requested for a very minimal spice level. They confirmed that the spice was kid friendly. When we came to our hotel room, we found that the food was extremely spicy. We were surprised how they could have called it minimal spicy. The chicken in butter chicken looked a bit strange too in texture, as if it might be stored in the freezer for long time or was somehow prepackaged. It was almost like tofu.

I ordered chiken tikaa today, It tastes so bad and there was no seasoning or any chutney with it.seems like chicken was just sautéed. Very bad experience. I am never ordering again.

Good quality food at decent prices. You can get the food done the way you want it. Very friendly staff. Chicken kebab wrap is a must try.

The restaurant sign says it's halal but they don't prove if the meat is halal and the owner is not a Muslim so please investigate before you go there.

Worst place & worst service. They charged me 15% service charge while I was waiting for a naan for 20 min & I have to ask them twice while the place was almost empty. All I can say is avoid this place if possible.

They are way too expensive for no reason if u order from the menu. I ordered vegetable which they charged $13 but the portion was not even enough for 1 person. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Customer service is not very friendly at all but they do charged me 15% for the service

Mutton biryani with mild spicy was best for me! For less spicy option we tried vegetable pulao and that too was a good one

Had to wait for almost 40 min for a relatively small order. Quality of food was fine. Paid parking spots right aside

Hand slaughtered certified halal.
Tried chicken Biryani and boneless karhai. Tasty and felt like home made. Little expensive but it's HMA certified on prime location.

Great restaurant. I loved the spices and perfect naan bread. Very clean and and nice alternative to what’s around. We ate there yesterday and my wife left her purse behind by accident. The staff were great to put it aside for us to pick it up at later date. Would definitely come back here again.

I used to go in frequently for the lunch buffet which I think is great with tons of naan. I find myself ordering in a lot more now. I have tried a few other places in the area and personally think this one is the best of the bunch as far as flavour, value and speed. I know it's not much to say it's one of the faster Indian restaurants I've been to since they're all supposed to take forever anyway, but it is definitely something I noticed.
My personal favourites are the samosas, veggie pakoras, kebabs, chicken tikka and butter chicken - naan is a given, it's gotta be good or I wouldn't be coming back.

The buffet is not worth because they don't have variety in the food and the price for that doesn't satisfy. Starter's for chicken only one item that is tandoori chicken. I liked lamb curry but equally hated the butter chicken and chicken curry.

The staff is very friendly and the Food is delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable

First time eating real indian cuisine. Staff is nice, the waitress was super. Buffet is convenient and has lots of options. Clean dining area. If you have a large group of people maybe 5 or more I would call ahead and make sure there is a table available.

Excellent Indian-Pakistani Cuisine located close the actual falls and near a variety of hotels. We couldn't resist the wonderful aromas coming from thre as we were making our way back from seeing the falls to our hotel (Doubletree) on foot. It's very clean restaurant with a great buffett at a very reasonable price. On the buffett are wonderful meat dishes (chicken, lamb, etc.) and delicious vegetarian (lentil, pea, etc.) dishes - all very fresh and continuously replenished. The food was nicely spiced and the bread was exceptional. I noticed that one can eat in (as we did) or carry out. We love healthy eating and this place filled that need. Very pleasant staff, too. Enjoy!

Stopped in after a visit to the falls for lunch. The buffet was very nice and there was fresh food being brought out regularly. The options included both meat and veggie dishes, the veggie dishes were particularly good, with chickpea, paneer and lentil options. The place was clearly a popular lunch place with Indian families, usually a good sign:) would certainly go here and thought that $20 a person for the lunch buffet was pretty reasonable for Niagara Falls.

Not the greatest Indian restaurant I've been to, but could be worse. For a buffet, the variety of items were rather limited; taste wasn't very satisfying either. There is parking at the location and the restaurant itself was clean. If you're looking to stuff yourself with bland Indian food for twenty buck it's ok, otherwise look elsewhere.

Fast service, good flavour, good quantity, old and smelly chicken. To the owner, cooked and reheated chicken is not made fresh to order. Hopefully the owners would take this into consideration and try to keep the chicken as fresh as possible

Never seen such a high price for buffy. Just like highway robbery.
I had eaten buffy other places but never had to pay high price. Usually it should be $10-15 not $19.
I don't recommend my friend to go there.

Not good. Not more varieties just a chicken curry in non veg. No lamb no biryani and no egg. Expensive as well. Not worth to money. No where close to Indian taste.

My family and I stopped in to try their buffet. I guess we got the lunch since it was somewhat early. The food was really good but what stood out was the Naan bread. We have visited Indian restaurants in 13 countries and this by far was the best we have had.

Price was decent and we would definitely go again.

Great place. The girl at the front desk was amazing. Her service was exceptional and she managed the service across table really efficiently. The food was also good. Recommended
