Very kind staff and security.if you want to save your money and time, go on Tue to Thursday morning, i use 35 min finish the whole process.suggest arriving at 8: 00 to 8: 10, sit on te branch, enjoy the beautiful pictures for a while, you can enter the office on 8: 30, if you don't have yellow paper, and CAA photo just free or 10$

This office is one of the best, as other reviewers mentioned, i went there for my new passport at 7: 45am, the mall door opened at 8: 00 am (make sure you use the main entrance not the one close to shoppers). I was the number 2 person in the line. The security guard was very helpful, the agent who took care of my file was professional, he helped fixed my forms… thank you for all. Keep up the good work

04/12/2023- I was anxious about coming to the passport office for my urgent application because of the pictures of long queues at this location. However, this was such a pleasant 5-star experience in this office!

The security team set the tone right for the day. 10 minutes before the office opened, they briefed us on how it all goes and they were very friendly and cheerful.

Inside, the clerks are extremely helpful and are quick to understand what clients need. I arrived at 8am (#9 in line). As soon as it opened at 8.30am, I was immediately seen at the window. I was out at 8.50am!

Such a great experience and I want to make sure people know that the horror stories from earlier reviews here are truly a thing of the past!

It's a 2hr wait to finally get to the desk from the point of line up. But if that's how long it takes, then that's how long it takes.

Poor customer service. Because they have 17 counters, but working counters less than 5 to 6.rest of the counters not anyone working. Keep the customers waiting. I don't know why.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I went last week though experience was pretty smooth. I got there fairly early so that certainly helped and was there for a fairly simple passport renewal.

Arrived 730 doors to mall opened 800 second person in line behind couple

Let into hallway outside passport office where they have benches and chairs for the first 8-10 people

Around 815 line up was about 20 people

817 security comes out handing out masks to those in line and checks why people are here sees about their forms etc. Have forms on clip boards to fill out while sitting in line

About 830 the security opened the doors and directed people to go directly to a numbered window

I went to this passport office on Monday, around noon, with the intention of finding out, whether or not, they are actually turning people away, if their travel date is more than 45 days away. (This idea was based on a previous review, and is entirely untrue.) I decided to just wait, even though the line was quite long.

It did take time to actually get into the office and get a number, but the people around me were pleasant to talk to, and security walks around, giving valuable information to people, to ensure that everything runs smoothly. (Great job, guys!)

Once I got up to a window, the woman who helped me, Rebecca, was fast and friendly. It took less than 10 minutes, and they guarantee that you passport is mailed out in 10 business days!

All in all, I was there for about 3 and a half hours, but I know that Mondays and Fridays are much busier than the other days of the week.

Under the circumstances, these people are doing a PHENOMENAL job! If you don't like waiting, then yes, that part isn't the best, but I didn't mind. I think, especially security, is going above and beyond what they have to. They even offered booked appointments on Saturday at the downtown location, for people who were traveling after January 16th. Amazing job, guys! Thank you for an, overall, smooth and seamless experience!

Horrible experience here. Waited hours to get the number and then more than that for the teller to call us. The person who came after me got served before me and eventually upon asking out of curiosity, I got to know that no one is getting served in order. I left the office without submitting my application because there was no way I could calculate the approximate time remaining when someone would call me. You will be called randomly and God knows when.

I was dreading going to get my passport renewed.

However, I was pleasantly surprised, the person at the door greeted me and asked me what I was up to and directed me to the right line. 2 min later I was sitting down waiting with my appointment number. I did wait for 2 hours but the place was very busy.

The person who served me at the counter was Brilliant, she quickly figured out what I needed, putting my poor attitude to the side, and had me on my way in 5 minutes.

Thank-you people in the London Passport Office, you are super. Pat S.

We went here on a Tuesday at noon and were done submitting the application by 2. The agent who served us was very helpful and real nice. The security guards at the front are good. They tell you exactly where you have to go. Pickup service was quick too. Overall a great experience. Yes, it takes time but people working there are nice. Better not to go on Mondays or Fridays as it’s crazy busy.

Where do I begin. I went in on a Monday morning and waited in line for a half hour just to get into the office, then another hour just to wait to get a number, which are picked on a lottery system, not in order. The air conditioning was off as it’s November but in a packed room, it got very hot and uncomfortable, especially for hours. One of the security guards was lovely, but one was pushy and rude. At the end of the day, this number picking system is absolutely reprehensible and needs to be revised.

I found them extremely helpful. The guys at the entrance try to do their best and I would tell that they are doing more than they are supposed to do to help people understand simple basic things. The staff inside are great with positive attitude. People should read the instructions carefully and fill up the form carefully and should bring necessary documents to come here. Failing to do so causes delay for everyone and applicants blame the staff here for their mistakes.

Went early on my day off just to find out that they're only servicing people who are traveling within the 45 day limit.so a heads up to anyone else trying to get theirs! I was advised to go the downtown passport service canada if traveling outside of the 45 day limit (as of today Oct 5th)

If you like waiting in line for 6 hours.
They are making elderly people wait and turning them away if they are to "shaky" to fill out paper work. They have 25 people in a queue and its taking hours to them. Children and disabled people are being made to stand hours.

Great service, very efficient and nice staff! In particular Lindsay who dealt with my son’s passport application. I booked an appointment online, arrived there 30 mins before, got called straight away. Requested an urgent service with a proof of travel and received the passport in less than 2 hours! Thank you!

Staff here were amazingly helpful and nice. The line is long. Not sure what advice to give but be prepared to show up early and stay all day. Make sure you have all your documents and form of payment, proof of travel within 45 business days.

I went to check things out and see how long the wait was, arrived at 2 pm. The security gaurd told me that they were super busy, but if I arrive at 4 am, I would be taken care of. "4 am? " I said, suprised. "4 am. " He said. So I did arrive the next day at 4 am. People began to show up, to my suprise. We had about 6 people waiting until 7 am. Eventually, sun comes up and a man passes by. I asked him, about how many people were behind us? "About 40 groups" He said. I didn't believe him until we were let in. A man came by and asked us some general questions to avoid confusion and told us what was happening. We get let in at 8: 30. They begin picking people who have super high priority or appointments. We go into the main room, and then people in priority begin to get served first. Eventually, I get called up and the man at the counter takes my papers, asks me some questions, confirms I have a travel date and gives me a ticket. I sit, and at 9: 20 or so, I get called up. The lady at the counter was very kind and was happy to help. No greif what soever. This was my first time getting my passport, and I'm happy to say that I am scheduled to get it before my travel date! They're very nice people here. Nobody gave me greif at all, they just are SUPER busy and handle people as they need to. I don't regret waking up at 3: 45am to get here and get this done.

July 5/22- FOR THOSE WHO ALREADY APPLIED.

I applied on April 8 for my passport and was told it’d be ready the next month. Come July I still havent received it and presently have a flight booked and need my passport in 48 hours. IF YOUVE ALREADY APPLIED AND NEED AN UPDATE AND/OR AN URGENT PASSPORT, you do not need to line up in the huge line. I got to cherryhill before 8am and spoke to the many service Canada agents that were at the door ready to direct ppl to the appropriate line up. I had my receipt from when I originally applied and proof I was travelling soon. I was then directed to the short line, I had 5-6 ppl in front of me. A separate Service Canada representative had an IPAD and was able to look up the status of passports. She started helping people around 8am. After she searched up my passport, I was given a pick up slip right away for pick up of my passport next day. The whole interaction took less than 5 minutes. I was out by 830.

Even if you don’t have a flight booked, others in line we’re simply inquiring about the status of their passport.

Hoping this helps, as I would’ve loved this information myself!

The employees at this office are INCREDIBLY kind and helpful - despite having a job where I saw multiple people be extremely rude, impatient, condescending and hostile towards them. The lines aren’t their fault! It is not any individual employee’s fault, so leaving a negative review for a much larger government issue makes no sense whatsoever. Every person I interacted with was so polite and they were able to assist me with my request. They made what could have been a negative experience a great experience

Submitted a passport approx 9 months prior to my trip. As time grew closer, I had gotten worried. Spent a few hours calling the support number over and over, until I managed to get through. The rep on the phone booked an appointment for me at this location, for an urgent passport. As my mail in application had not been processed yet.

I showed up an hour before my appointment. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They got me in and out with a passport in hand, within 30 minutes. The lady I had as a rep was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely go through this location again.

Shout out to lily who was helping people in line to get their passport. She pointed out some issues that prevented us from standing in a three hour line to be turned away. We got it corrected and came back. We appreciate the help and the friendly service

So unorganized, they have like 3 brakes during the day, and they all go for lunch at the same time i waited closed to 4 hours after i got a number, people that came after me without appointment were seen before me bc no everyone is "fully trained" if u come to this office make sure to bring food and water. There were just 5 agents working. Ridiculous

Great staff and Service. Key is to get an appointment but be DILIGENT on the E Service Canada for the appointments. Something will come up if you are persistent. We drove 2hrs to a location (Passport) and we were in and out of there within 40mins. FYI make sure you have all original documents such as Birth Certificates or Canadian Citizen Certificate. Photocopies won't work. Good luck everyone!

If you are coming here I would recommend to come just before 7AM, you’ll still wait for 2.5- 3 hours, if you show up at 8: 30am you will wait way longer than that
ALSO- if you are not travelling within 25 days they will not let you in - Advice to this office would be to put signs up stating this so people don’t wait for 2 hours just to be turned around and sent home ️

I went in at 8: 30 am to get my passport, was greeted by well over 200 people also in line.may i add they were PATIENTLY and QUIETLY waiting in line.then there was a lady, i think her name was jacqueline (short hair, extremely rude) SCREAMING at the top of her longs at every single person “explaining” the new rules and procedures, when a lady and her daughter approached to ask a question she then was awfully rude to her.she legitimately told her to be quiet and “let her finish” in a snotty tone.this woman was so kind and polite and she was treated like garbage about inquiring about an issue she had a week prior at the SAME service ontario.i work in customer service, and i would literally get fired if i ever spoke to another human being the way we all got spoken too today.i’m not sure if this woman was having a bad day or not, but i surely hope she learns compassion and patience one day soon because her job is consistently going to be dealing with people and if she’s going to continue the way she is i hope she switches to another field that doesn’t invole other humans:) i left crying out of frustration.thanks:) i hope she gets well soon

Just a joke. Apparently covid is a good reason for everyone to limit services. I'm sick of it. Book appointment somehow online or they send u away. I brought my elderly mother to get her passport.just a joke.

I have been trying to book an appointment to renew my passport for 2 weeks with no success. I called the 800 number and after waiting more than an hour, they sent a new request for me to book an appointment ant told me some one will call you within 2 days. However, this doesn't happen.
