Excellent experience and advice for my 2020 travel plans. Very knowledgeable and honest about what is and is not required. I highly recommend and will definitely return the next time I require travel vaccinations.
Excellent Service and communication. The nurse was well prepared with all the necessary documents and information to discuss. Was a very comfortable atmosphere.
Mary Ellen was a very knowledgeable source for my travel vaccinations. I would highly recommend Passport Health as a source for everything you need to know about upcoming travel to almost every part of the world.
I have been to other travel clinics before and didn't really get the best advice. Mary Ellen at Passport Health clinic is amazing, I feel I'm much better prepared for my trip to Nepal this time around. I highly recommend Passport Health clinic in Oakville for your future needs.
I booked an appointment online, filled out the health form prior to the appointment. I was seen on time; the whole thing was seamless. The nurse I met with was friendly and very knowledgeable about the vaccines needed for my trip. I would definitely recommend this travel clinic to anyone travelling outside of Canada and the USA.
Mary Ellen is a wonderful nurse who helped claim my nerves and was extremely informative and knowledgeable with the vaccinations i needed to have for my trip - i would highly recommend her.
We had a great experience at Passport Health. Mary Ellen was warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She was also very patient explaining all the precautions we should take for our trip.not only shots and pills, but also warnings of food, animal bites, etc.it was well worthwhile.
First time I visited this office. The nurse was very friendly and helpful. I don't know much about travel medicine. But she took time to explain details. I highly recommend)
From the phone call to book the appointment to the follow-up afterwards the experience at Passport Health in Oakville was easy, and immensely helpful. I will be travelling abroad to several countries and Mary Ellen took the time to review everything with me, consider my options and help me make the best decisions for my health. I've gotten a quick response to all of my follow-up emails and I can say that this experience has given me a lot more confidence in protecting myself while I travel.
I had a positive experience at Passport Health, they went over everything we needed to know for our shots/ the prices and options we had/ when we had to take all our medicine and scheduled us back for the next dose of the shot we are required to take. Overall, we would come back to the clinic next time we are travelling somewhere again.
Mary Ellen is extremely friendly and helpful. She will review your itinerary and discuss all of the risks in those countries with you to ensure you are aware and vaccinated.
Came here for a Hep B shot. They had it in stock when all the pharmacies didn't. The people I spoke to on the phone were fantastic. Great customer service. The nurse was so very kind. I’m horrible with shots but she did a really good job. Overall, very happy with my experience, strongly recommend!
Great experience. Was pleasantly surprised that the consultation fee was quite a bit lower than another Halton-area clinic we had booked with (but had our appointment cancelled). Atena was warm and enjoyed our son's antics, which always goes a long way when a child is worried about getting vaccines. We are now set up with the series of vaccines needed between now and the departure of our year trip around the world next year.
If you are planning on doing any travelling what so ever in the indefinite future DO NOT go to passport health. Total rip off. Not only is there no doctor present, not only do they do their best to upsell you on overpriced bug spray, not only do they peddle fear and sell false security in the form of shots and malaria pills that you probably wont need (depending on where you are travelling of course) the individual I dealt with was ignorant and sold us brand name vaccines at a high cost. She insisted it was the only way with such a short time before our trip and failed to mention that each drug had a generic equivalent. After talking with my health insurance I was informed that after paying $393 for an utterly useless travel consultation and 4 vaccines, that every single one of the drugs I paid for could have been purchased in generic form for a total of $62 (which is what I was reimbursed). Do yourself a favor and just make an appointment with your family doctor well before you leave so you can get some actual, useful advice and at least some of your shots will be covered by OHIP, your insurance or so you can at least opt for the generic version.
The employees at passport health were very knowledge and friendly. I had a great experience with Mary Ellen, as I had booked my trip fairly short notice, she was able to help me book all my immunizations in a timely manner. Was even able to get me to the toronto clinic for a shot that was not available at that time in oakville
Very easy to make an appointment with personable, knowledgeable telephone staff. Got regular reminder emails leading up to the appointment and was even able to input all my relevant vaccination history online to help speed up the actual appointment AND save $10 on the consultation. Nurse Mary Ellen was extremely sweet and knowledgeable as well. Very clean, sunny office, and I was the only patient having a consultation at that time, so I felt directly cared for. Will definitely going back for any/all future travel health needs!
I experienced excellent service when I made a trip to Passport Health in Oakville. The nurse, Mary Ellen, was extremely friendly and was very well prepared for my appointment. She provided loads of information to help me be prepared my trip as well as made sure I got the medications and vaccinations I needed to be protected. I will definitely go back for any future travel health needs and I highly recommend it to others who are looking for a travel clinic.
Rip off. Nurse was not able to help with most of the questions which she deferred to local pharmacy. Charging 70$ for Typhoid vaccine, outside is 30$. Save money and do your research online. For vaccines talk to your family doctor.
In the last year, I have visited Passport Health three times, and each visit was equally fantastic. Everyone is extremely patient and attentive to all questions and concerns related to your travels, and I felt reassured and more comfortable to set out on my trips.
It was an absolute pleasure to see Nurse Specialist Mary Ellen Sharp today! She took time and explained every question I had! I will highly recommend her! She is a true asset to her profession!
