Really great place and staff remember your needs if you go there often.

I feel sad that I saw one customer was yelling and being violence towards one of the staff after he couldn't return his Food (he ate half of it already). It was rediculous.

Was trying to order half dozen, then the asian guy from the cashier thought i was ordering one dozen, i told him i am ordering just half! He kept on insisting that he heard one dozen!

Regardless if he heard it right or wrong! This guy just gave me a smirk and shake of his head! I told him I wasn’t gonna get because of his attitude and he just smiled and said ok like a prick!

No customer service effort this guy!

Quick, delicious and cheap for a small snack. Service was amazing. Greeted at cash and thanked after paying.

This was the worst patty I ever had in my entire life… why the hell is it so watery and insanely hot temperature? It burned my face.

I often get it from here and I love their Pattie’s. Only once it tasted off but otherwise it’s really good.

Bunch of scorching hot gravy in a patty, barely any meat inside. They don't have a clue how to make Jamaican patties, very disappointing.

Service is fast but the food sucked. Barely any filling, bread wasn’t soft, extra spicy was mild. Try a different location they make them better in the path.

I approve the Veg. Patty, i wish they had a spicy version of it.

I have been ordering from Patties Express for a few years now. The Square One location is great. The Eaton Centre location? Terrible. The employees act like they are in a contest to see how quickly they can wrap an order BEFORE the customer finishes ordering! I specifically said chicken patties, but the employee had already wrapped my order and I assumed it was correct. I took a bite to find out it was a beef patty. I cannot eat beef, it is against my religion. I haven't eaten beef all my life (I am 27 years old). My stomach hurts, my skin is itchy, and I feel awful and ashamed for a mistake they made, not me. All this location has to do is SLOW DOWN and review the orders. It's a snack shop, not the dang Olympics.

Because I insist on factoring price into everything I review this gets a good 4.5 stars from me.every-time I visit the mall near mealtimes I’ll always grab a party to go.you get what you pay for, $2.50 for a beef patty and a filled stomach.bonus points for the warm, comforting taste and a patty that isn’t overly messy to munch on.it’s not overflowing with meaty goodness, but for what it is, I like it.

I just really enjoy having a snack and a juicy filling to go while in the mall, guess that’s a pretty low standard.nonetheless, I’d recommend trying it out, they’ve got chicken, vegetarian and beef in various stages of SPICY.but tbh, I don’t think any of them are really that spicy, and that’s coming from me, self proclaimed inability-to-take-spicer.

The taste was pretty underwhelming and so was the quantity of the filling. But if you are really hungry and don't want to spend a lot, go for it.

Veggie patties filling is 4/10. It just like eating a shell.

Not worth 2.4$ (after taxes) per patty.

When it was my turn to be served
I greeted the clerk with an “hello” which was met with a grunt as a response.

I was the last person to be served, when asked what I wanted the transaction was rushed and pushy giving me the impression my busy was an annoyance.

Don’t think I will be going back based off that encounter.

A family member with a disability purchased patties here regularly. I happened to see the interaction between the 2 young male staff and my family member. They were snickering and rude to them. I was very upset and disturbed by this. Obviously I never want to support a business that treats its customers rudely.

I bought the half dozen box of extra spicy beef patties. The half dozen and dozen boxes are priced reasonably. I didn’t find the patty spicy at all, however the overall taste and texture was good!

Just your typical quick mall snack. We ordered a spicy beef patty and it wasn’t anything amazing. It’s something you could get anywhere but I haven’t seen a lot of beef patty shops in malls (at least not in the United States). If you have a random craving for a beef patty, then this will do. Curry chicken sounds pretty good though, so maybe that one is better?

Great eats at an insanely affordable price. I love going here on my lunch break! And one of the workers always does a little show when they bag the Patties, hard to not tip!

My sister and I were enticed by the mouthwatering aroma of the patties, so we decided to give them a try. As we approached the counter, we encountered a cashier who seemed in a hurry, despite there being no one waiting behind us. He swiftly typed the prices on the machines and handed them to us with such speed that it felt a bit overwhelming. Furthermore, he served another customer who arrived later before attending to us, making us feel neglected. It seemed as though his primary concern was rushing through the transactions and collecting our money, rather than providing a satisfactory customer experience.

Unfortunately, the customer service fell short of our expectations. The cashier mistakenly assumed that we were paying together, even though we had placed separate orders at different machines. This miscommunication added to the overall dissatisfaction with our visit.

After finally receiving our patties, we found them to be mediocre at best. As someone who grew up in Jamaica and has a discerning taste for authentic Jamaican cuisine, I must admit that the patties were average, only slightly better than those found at a typical convenience store. This was disappointing, as we had hoped for a more authentic and flavorful experience.

In summary, our visit to the establishment left us unimpressed with both the customer service and the quality of the patties. It felt as though the cashier's main focus was rushing us through the process, rather than ensuring our satisfaction as customers. As a Jamaican with high expectations for Jamaican food, I was left wanting more from this experience.

Dozen X-spicy is my regular. Take two on the way back to the office and the rest goes straight to the freezer for later. It's great!

I have been a regular customer since when they had the store on the street. Their patties are great but a little disappointed with today's interaction. Since I moved out of downtown, I always drop by here to buy patties whenever I visit downtown. I ordered a dozen extra spicy patties. Got home feeling very excited to have them, and when I opened up the box, it was a dozen of regular spicy patties. I thought I was being very clear that I ordered EXTRA SPICY. I even said extra spicy twice when I ordered them. If I were still living in downtown and if I only ordered few, I could always go back and get more extra spicy no problem, but now I live very far and made a detour to get these patties and this happened. Things happen, so not blaming all on you but a little disappointed that this happened. Their patties are great tho.

Been going for years and years now, NEVER disappointed. Highly recommended for affordable and delicious patties. Service always with a smile.

The worker is so fast when he's serving you. Order a drink next time and watch him reach into the drink fridge - it's like he's dancing or something
Patties are good - the regular spicy ones are a good amount of spice for someone who can only moderately handle spice!
