Paul was referred to us by a friend who also had an excellent experience dealing with him and his team. We always dealt directly with our bank for mortgage renewals but we felt it was worth reaching out to Paul since it seemed we weren't getting the best experience or renewal pricing from our existing financial institution. Overall, we had an incredible experience dealing with Paul Meredith and his team. Luisa, their lead team member, was very proficient at handling document processing and their online portal was very user-friendly. Paul was extremely responsive to our many emails and calls and he would provide excellent explanations/education about the process and best mortgage options available to us. Our renewal timing also coincided with the collapse of SVB which had instant and significant impacts on lending rates and Paul was quick to jump on this and get us a further rate reduction. He was able to get us a commitment/rate that was unmatched in the industry and far lower than what our existing institution was able to provide. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by how hard Paul and his team worked on our file and it was one of the best financial services experiences we have ever had and, to put this into context, our regular banking is through Private Wealth at one of the big banks where top level service is expected and Paul exceeded that.

I have never worked with a broker as knowledgeable and talented as Paul. It took me almost 8 months to find Paul Meredith’s team for my mortgage application. In the past I had many horrible experiences working with other brokers, some lacked technical knowledge while others were not responsive. I worked with a broker once where he delayed submitting my mortgage application which resulted in me paying thousands in penalties to the builder due to extension on closing date. No matter how many times I called, sent emails he just wouldn’t respond. Getting approved for mortgage is very stressful especially in the current market, I had an extremely pleasant experience working with Paul and Luisa. They are both extremely patient and knowledgeable. I had my application approved weeks before closing, but on the night before closing date, the bank rejected my application.somehow Paul pulled a magic trick and they accepted my application again the next morning.
