Absolutely love this place! Erica is a lifesaver and my senior dog feels so safe with them, not to mention how handsome he looks after his visit! Love love love this place!

This review is long overdue. I would highly recommend Paws and Affection Grooming Retreat to any prospective dog owner that wants to go the extra mile for their dog. They have gone above and beyond in caring for my beloved dog Gray. They are truly proffessionals. He loves the owners Erika and Ada, family, team and their dog.
One experience that I saw first hand that I will never forget was when Ada was welcoming a new puppy and the puppy was so scared and jumpy. She was so patient and genuinely understanding. It wasn't fake. I'm sure we all know as dog owners our dogs can be.particular. I could tell it wasn't just a dog for her. It was important for her to make sure she setting that dog up for success and make it less stressful for the dog. It didn't matter how long it would take. If they see that this experience is very overwhelming they prioritize the well being pf your pet. That's the care and attention they give. If you want a place where you can rest worry free knowing your dog is in incredibly capable hands by genuine dog lovers that go out of their way to work on a plan with you and your dog to help better their grooming experience give Paws and Affection a chance. I did and it's one of the best decisions I have made. Words cannot express my immense gratitude for the love and care they have shown my dog and by virtue myself - Mel & Gray

Ada did a wonderful job on Milo. He had quite a bit of matting on his backside that he wouldn’t let anyone touch but she was able to remove all of it. He came out looking like a totally different dog. We will be back and highly recommend her.

I had a great experience at paws and affection my dog is extremely bad for grooming that his groomer for 10 years refused to groom him anymore.my vet groomed him but had to sedate him and put him under.
These girls did a great job they were able to do the job they are very skilled it was pricey but half the price my vet charged my dog now is on a schedule so he won’t get matted and be more aggressive. Very happy with the service and the knowledge I received

My pup has been going there for years. They take excellent care of her whether there for daycare or grooming. They have also been accommodating. She always comes out looking and smelling great after full grooming! Have and continue to recommend!

We've been going to Paws & Affection for over 5 years. The warmth and caring they provide to their customers and their dogs is second to none. Our cockapoo has anxiety and Erica and Ada always make him feel safe and loved. We refer to them as "going to the salon". He comes back looking refreshed and extra cute! Beyond their skills as dog groomers, they are really knowledgeable about dogs and their health. Erica has often provided me with good advice, which is much appreciated! I love my visits there, as does our dog. I highly recommend them!

The service here for dog grooming is amazing. When Covid restrictions started, I had a hard time finding a place to get my pug’s nailcut. They were very accommodating and I’ve been sending my dog there ever since. He now gets regular deshedding and my dog loves staying there during the day. His anxieties of getting his nails cut from other places have improved and Erica and Ada know how to keep him calm and cooperative. I highly recommend this place!

I took my dog Tyson to paws ans affection and the ladies there made him. Feel so at comfort I had gone to PetSmart and other groomers and he was always scared or feeling timid but not here he felt so comfortable he would actually be in a great mood when I would pick him up and when I went away they had a boarding program. I was afraid in the start because of a past experience with a dog hotel out in Waterloo where he was mistreated but not with this ladies he was a captain of his own ship.

Erica is amazing, we have been taking our dog (who requires extra care due to some medical conditions) and she has always taken such good care of him. Super friendly, reasonable price and always comes back handsome as ever.
