First grooming for our pup today and the staff were amazing. The care and time they took to make his first visit a great one was so appreciated. Our pup looked great and was happy to stay and play before we left. We will be back! Thank you Tammy and Jennifer.

Massive red flags right off the bat. Between the desperate holding on to the covid hysteria even though it's December of 2022 with the MULTIPLE "curbside service only" signs, the karen haircut on the lady that came to the door, the extremely poor communication. This one's a hard pass for me. How can I expect someone to take good care of my dog when I can't even tour the facility or even inquire about services without being treated like a leper?

My dogs have been coming to this retreat for a few years now. The staff are very professional and treat all the animals as if they were their own. Most Comments that I have seen are very true to this retreat. There are some comments that are very unnecessary and uncalled regarding staff personal appearance. This is a time that the retreat is about following their own policies to keep the retreat safe from any type of outbreak they also have high standards on updated shots for safety of all the animals. Please treat the staff with respect.

Shout out to ALL the amazing staff at Pawz & Company. Being away from our beloved pets can be difficult and stressful. Seeing pics every day of their many romps around the large runs was pure joy. They were SO happy, relaxed and enjoying their open doggie runs and interacting with their pals like it was Summer Camp. Thanks again for ALL YOU DO. We will definately rebook again.

It was a great amazing experience for us. They've make our Chowder (dog) feel welcome. Very nice people to deal with. Even, the owner met us personally. I know Chowder will be in good hands whenever we leave him with them.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It is the most professional, clean and friendly establishment we have ever taken or lab too. They became like family to us. Our dog Leo was so excited any time we pulled up to Pawz and Company which says so much. Deb, Peter and Tammy were always so friendly and kind. We drive 1.5 hours to bring him here when we lived in Toronto because this was by far the best place for our Leo.

We have been taking our dog to Pawx and Company for about 3 years now.
We love the facility and the people who run it.
Our dog absolutely loves Pawx and Company. She knows when we turn off Thunderbridge, where we are and cannot wait to get out of the car when we get there. We have never ever had a problem booking our dog in for day care or boarding or grooming. They are the best.
I would not hesitate to recommend Pawx and Company to friends, family and neighbours.

Very disappointed in pawz and company owner.

While my dog enjoyed going to pawz, we have since stopped going because of the owner. After several weeks of going twice a week for daycare and not missing a single appointment, we had to cancel our Monday daycare (my wife who recently gave birth was struggling) and did so 24 hours in advance like was required. That's when they changed their mind and said oh we need to know by Friday for Monday cancellations. This was never mentioned before and at the time posted anywhere on their website or Facebook page. We explained this and was told that in order for us to come back we need to pay the full price for our dogs daycare appointment. Had we just not shown up with no notice I would completely understand but we followed the rules we were told. My guess is that they didn't like having someone my age as a client but that is just speculation.

The reason they gave was because of covid and how hard things have been on businesses. They also have to pay for their staff that is there on Monday. Now I find out that they were receiving covid money from the government for their employees wages. Very disappointed that you would treat a young customer with a new child this way when your getting money to cover your employees costs to begin with! I will definitely be reporting this behaviour in hopes the government does a really good audit on your business!

My advice to people looking for a daycare or boarding. Keep looking.

My 2 girls love coming here, they always fun and come home tuckered out at the end of the day. The staff are kind and friendly and always take excellent care of my pups. Jen does an amazing job with their grooming and helped them to be comfortable and get use to all the grooming equipment. Pawz is their home away from home.

We have taken our Lily to Pawz since she was about 10 weeks old. Deb and her staff have always been so kind, loving and professional to us and safe, fun a nd loving to Lily. Lily had been apart of their daycare, boarding and grooming service. Lily is always excited when we mention, "w9e're goin to school! ". She is familiar with the term and starts to look for her leash and starts to whine with joy when we are almost there. We would never place Lily anywhere else. We recently moved 2 and 1/2 hours away, but are prepared to return Lily to Debs amazing retreat for boarding. Pawz and Company will provide you with total peace of mind for all your fur baby needs. We love you and miss you. Uncle Pete and Deb, you guys are amazing! Thank you to all the staff!

My dog attends play group here. I continue to me more and more impressed with the staff every time I pick up and drop off.
How ridiculous it is give give a 1 star rating simply because there was "No room at the inn"

We have boarded our cat at pawz and company numerous times over the past few years and have been very pleased with the care he has received. Deb and her staff are extremely conscientious and kind caregivers. We are always confident he is in the best of hands when we are away and would recommend this beautiful facility to anyone seeking top rate care for their pet. Very rude reception and would not take my dog. Said the dog needed to be up to date on all vaccines. My dog is up-to-date on all vaccines. She is not old enough to get two of them. Two of them that would not affect her going to get groomed. Told me no one in town would accept me because of that. Every groomer in town was willing to accept me. And my dog groomed at top notch. Fully vaccinated and treated for any parasites worms or fleas or ticks. Once she becomes of age to get further vaccines she will get them. Requirement is up-to-date and my dog is "up to date. " I only live close by and they just lost a biweekly customer. Not to mention the woman on the phone was insanely rude.

Pawz and Company is the top of the line animal retreat. My doggy just loves to go there when mommy needs a break. Very clean and staff friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Debbie and staff for taking care of my fur baby!

I have been a 'family member' of Pawz and Company for over three years. It is the most supportive, empathetic and responsible retreat I have every been involved with; and I do mean retreat.if you have spent any time on premise you will understand what I am referring to. The facilities are state of the art spectacular and the staff are professional, attentive and loving. They do their very best ALWAYS to ensure my fur baby is well taken care of whether I have a well planned absense or a last minute need. I read an odd review today around availability and 30 days notice for boarding, I have never been turned away at Pawz and Company and don't expect to. I drive an hour and ten minutes one way to ensure my dog has the best possible experience. I do have other options, but Pawz and Company IS the answer for him. My opinion is the polar opposite to the 30 day poster.it is ALWAYS worth the time. NEVER A WASTE. Keep up the amazing work P&C. Peace of mind.that is what you provide. Period!

I have been a client of Pawz and Company for more than 3 years and have always been very pleased with care provided to my dog. It is a great place for our pets to stay.
I read a review about Pawz requesting specific time e.g. 30 days notice to book their pet in. I am thinking maybe that this person must have been viewing another website as nowhere does this state this on the Pawz page
Christmas is definitely a very busy period and therefore should be taken into consideration when wanting to book your dog/cat in

Pawz is the best home away from home your animal can stay

I highly recommend Pawz and Company and their staff I trust them implicitly with my doggy and believe it is the best pet facility in the Kawartha area. I have been a client for 2 years and I would never EVER leave my dog anywhere else, it is like her home away from home. The staff is caring and loving to all the animals that board here. Not only does Pawz have doggy day care, boarding and grooming, they give my dog her medication daily and tend to her needs as required. For the individual who left the review saying that they require 30 days notice, I can't seem to find that anywhere on their site and I challenge him to find a facility of this caliber that isn't booked this far ahead for Christmas.

I have been a client of Pawz and Company for 3 years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, the facility and their methods. I read a very perplexing review about Pawz requiring 30 days notice to book your dog and it says nothing on their website to that effect, where this person got the info, I have no idea. Your dog needs to go through the regular safety screening for vaccinations and flea treatment etc, then once this is completed, Pawz is ready to accommodate you and your pet as much as possible. They are pretty much booked for the Christmas season, but that is to be expected. You will never get a better home away from home for your pet, call Pawz for a tour and you will see how much they love all animals and care for them like their own.

What an awesome place for cats. It is quite a spot. Very clean, very friendly staff and beautiful property/facility.
Highly recommend and will be using their services again.
