I dropped my 3 year-old Dell laptop which caused unresponsive keys on my keyboard, and thought the charger stopped working. Messaged them on their website about the situation and got a response quickly, which was appreciated. They gave a general quote for the replacement of the keyboard and charging port, which equated to around 200+. I went to their shop the next day. The two techs were attentive and nice even though they were busy with their other clients upon our arrival. Our turn came up and they diagnosed my pc right away – turned out the charging port was working, and it was now just the keyboard issues. They were transparent about the pricing, potential procedures, and explained what was wrong with my pc well. Overall the process was smooth and got my pc fixed in under an hour. What was originally quoted to be $200+ ended up only being $40 plus tax, as no replacement of parts was needed, which made me happy considering I'm a stressed-out student on a budget. Thanks PC Gate Computer for a great experience.

Amazing service and work! I spilled a glass of water on my laptop, called around to 4 different places. They all quoted 7+ days for repair and really uncertain terms. I went to PC gate and they had run the diagnostics and stayed in touch with me the same day and repaired my computer within their business hours. Will DEFINITELY be back! Highly recommend!

The shop owner wearing a pair of glass is a lier

I bought a gamepad from him. I asked him if I may test it because you want to ensure what you buy can work, don't you. I said it is better I tested it, or if packaging is open I don't know what to do

He said no problem you can try it at home, and if it is NOT working you come back to me to return with the receipt

The gamepad didn't work out. I went to him and asked to refund with his receipt

He refused saying it is NOT his responsibility

You don't buy a gamepad for watching it do you? You want to use it, don't you

He goes easily back on his words

I went to PC Gate on two occasions and highly recommend their honest and professional service.

1) One of the keys on my son's laptop keyboard broke. Initially, I went to another store in Markham to seek help, but the other store kept extending the timeline for the repair. I gave up on them and went to PC Gate. PC Gate staff provided me with two options and replaced the keyboard within a week.

2) My desktop required a major upgrade. PC Gate gave me a quote and explained it to me. Based on our discussion, they updated the parts and prices based on my preferences. They also kept me posted by contacting me during the upgrade. Since all parts required were in stock, my desktop was ready for pickup the next business day.

3) They also sell grade A refurbished laptops which I will consider for my children.

Went to fix a minor issue for my laptop, owner was nice but didn’t take time to test my laptop. Sold me a wire that didn’t work very well after only asking a few questions. I went to “Crazy computer” in splendid China Mall again, the owner is more professional, he takes time to test my laptop and gives me multiple solutions. I paid less in “crazy computer” and problem is finally solved.

Great experience! Went in with a non functional display on my laptop which at first glance both the owner and us thought it would need a very expensive display replacement (because I have a gaming laptop with high def requirements) which we dishearteningly went ahead with. However, after a half hour, got a call back to pick up the laptop after the fix, and the owner let us know that he didn’t have to change the screen as it was simply a connection that got loose and would charge us just for the labour. He could’ve easily charged us 10x more for a replacement without us knowing any better, but really appreciated his genuine help and honesty from the get go!

Went there today with a (Windows Update) issue with my laptop. Not only did they fix it within a few minutes, but they were patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. These guys were awesome! Make PC Gate Computers your first stop, and thank me later!

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience coming into this store for the first time to have our Sons laptop screen repaired.

The customer service we received from Adam and Johnny was very professional and we felt very welcomed in their store.

They made us feel comfortable and were very honest and knowledgeable.

We came to pick up our Laptop the next day and it was like New.

Thank you so much for the hassle-free and fast service.

I went to PC Gate hoping to repair a broken keycap on my laptop. The receptionist invited a technician to fix this issue. After tinkering with the key for about 20 minutes, the technician eventually gave up. Obviously disappointed, I thanked them anyways and was about to leave the store. Before I could go, the receptionist asked me to pay $20 for their service. To be clear, they did nothing to warning of this service charge. I was appalled. Their lack of transparency and intent to entrap their customers for payment is unacceptable. I would stay away from this store, and visit somewhere else that actually values their customers.

Got my iphone screen repaired here a while back. Good customer service and very fast. Unfortunately after a few months, the screen started acting up. Slow to react, dead spots and freezes a lot. Had to get a new phone anyways.
