Peace-Garden Vegetarian

Ottawa has very few vegetarian only places and this place beats them all! Amazing food, every bite of their dal touches your soul. My favorite place to go to when in downtown. One piece of date square is 10$. That was my only disappointment.

Don’t miss this hidden peaceful garden, believe me, it’s not just a name, it’s peace and health. The food is good, close to Indian texture.
I tried Curry of the day this time.

I got the honey and ginger lemonade and it was fantastic. My stomach wasn’t feeling good and this is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect amount of fresh ginger and honey. Staff were kind and friendly:) Building is under renovation but it’s nice and air conditioned in there.

It really is peaceful to be here. The service is calm and friendly. The food is delicious. We liked the vegan Curry and the chocolate Banana Cake!

I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to Ottawa. Thank you. Everything was delicious even my kids aged 5&8 very much enjoyed their meal!

I like this spot. They have achieved a beautiful grove atmosphere within an otherwise dull office building. They have nice combo deals like soup and pie or daal and potato methi + their chutney is to diiiieeee for. Their soups are delicious as well, nicely packaged too in a coffee cup. Speaking of coffee, that is nice too.
Service is always very pleasant, and friendly, and I like that they are operating for a religious mission, rather than simply for profit. I only wish that they would use higher quality oils, like coconut or olive or ghee/butter.

Superbe expérience! Énormément d'options véganes, j'adore ça en tant que végane! Mon copain et moi avons pris le Tali et j'ai pu découvrir le papadam! Le tout était super bon! Mes compliments au chef! Le Mango nectar aussi, un vrai délice sucrée! Et pour finir en beauté, une tarte au chocolat, qui était sans gluten, mais quand même excellente, même si je ne suis pas céliaque ;) Le service était charmant et les deux employés étaient super sympathiques! C'était une belle ambiance tranquille et bien décoré malgré le petit espace, mais j'ai su que dans 6 semaines ils auront un plus grand local juste à côté avec vu sur la rue! C'est une bonne nouvelle ça! À la prochaine, c'est sûr!

Peace Garden is nestled inside a quiet shopping center (with air conditioning!) surrounded by plants and unique seating arrangements. The food was phenomenal! The glory bowl was some of the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. It was mind blowing. Definitely recommend for vegetarians looking for something different.

My roommate found this place on accident and recommended it to me after trying a delicious beet curry. I got a delicious salad bowl and can 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for healthy, light, and filling meals!

OMG a must visit! Authentic vegetarian food made with so much love and care and I can't say enough good things. The veggie burger and the bowls are divine! I promise to myself to have at least one meal here every time I am in Ottawa.
