Love this casual local haunt that serves up some great seafood! I thought the oysters were well done and the service was great. They didn’t have any more of the oysters we initially selected so gave us a free dessert - the sticky toffee pudding is AMAZING by the way!

Honestly there aren’t too many places in Toronto that are Worth the time, effort and $. Happy to say Pearl Diver is one of them! Lovely service, high quality food and a very comfortable atmosphere.

Nice staff, but the food was quite bad. First, the Pearl chowder was watered down and mostly just boiled potatoes. Second, the Seafood circus tower was lackluster in quality and quantity. Most troublingly, the seafood was NOT fresh. Mussels and oysters smelled and tasted funky. Shrimp, tuna, and crab were okay (not weird smelling or tasting) but tasted cheap. As I sit here, post-meal, feeling queasy and considering whether to vomit now or await a likely stomach ache, I'm compelled to give this warning.

I hate writing this review as we have been regular on Thursdays $100 for 100 oysters. This time we took some of our friends and it was 6 of us and after first round of 100 oyster, server refused to serve us more as he mentioned our group is not big enough to order another round! We also ordered a bottle of wine and bunch of other drinks but he said if we were 10 or more then we would order more drinks and we could get more Oysters! What he said was so ridiculous that made us leave and go to another place and we will never go back there!
* to the owner, we had a reservation! There is no where in your website saying each table is limited to only 100 oysters and as I said, this wasn't our first time but definitely last time as it seems you care less and less about your customers!

We participated for the 100 oysters for 100$. We had a couple salads, a calamari and their clam chowder. All very tasty. Service was quick. Will come back

Love this place. Great seafood! Love the oysters. Staff are all great. Prices aren't too crazy.which says a lot these days. The place remains a gem!

Overall the seafood was great BUT I was taken back when at the end of the meal they automatically added a gratuity for a table of 2. I have seen this practice for larger tables and private parties and am fairly certain it is allowed for those conditions but I am fairly certain it is not for smaller parties. It was an unfortunate way for them to end an otherwise good meal.

Went after work. Ok atmospere. Good service. Good food, although the choices were limited.

Had a couple of my friends take me here for my birthday. It was great- did the 100 oysters for $100 and the best spicy margarita in town. Was disappointed with the calamari -seemed like they were burned, or the oil wasn’t fresh. But other than that- the staff singing happy birthday to me was brilliant. Can’t wait to go back. My wife and I absolutely love this place, we’ve been multiple times and every time it always hit. I recently took my wife and son here and we decided to try some different food items out of our norm. For the apps we started with the pearly chowder, chicken liver & oyster pate and a side of grilled focaccia. The chowder was a hit with myself and my son while my wife and I enjoy the pate. The bread that was served with the pate was a little over grilled (hard like croutons) but overall still delicious. For the mains my wife and I shared the Canada 2 Oyster Plate along with the Steelhead Trout on Kimchi Rice and my son had the PD Burger. The oysters were fresh and did not have any funny after taste and the steelhead trout would probably be a new favourite, we were skeptical to try at first as my wife wasn’t really in the mood for kimchi rice but we are glad we tried it. The fries that came with the PD burger were a little over done as they were mostly hard but the burger itself was good as always. We would definitely come here again and recommend this spot to anyone else to try.

We were visiting Toronto from Vancouver, and got this great happy hour for 100 oysters! Thanks to that waiter lady that consist on trying this hundred! It was delirious! Will definitely recommend this nice place

This is my second time coming in less than a month. We love this place. The best for seafood and oyster experience in Toronto. They remembered us from our first visit. We may have found our new social hangout spot with our closest friends. Simply amazing spot. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Super fun restobar atmosphere! We came here for the 100 oyster/ $100 thursday special and it was freshhh. Service was great and I'm coming back for the seafood tower next time

Seafood was fresh, food was very delicious overall. Great deal for oysters during happy hour, $24/dozen, and they were really fresh. Lobster sliders and calamari were delicious. The steamed
mussels was the only dish that was lacklustre, I expected a flavourful broth but it was just very salty. Mussels were fresh though! Overall great experience and the service was great. They do have an automatic 18% tip, but I did not see an issue with it as they were very attentive, so we decided to tip more on top of the 18%. I do not like Caesars, but pearl diver’s Caesar was so delicious and the oyster that came with it was the cherry on top.

Amazing place - not just for oysters but for great drinks and decent pub style seafood. We order fish n chips, calamari and mussels. Make sure to get the bread with mussels as it is great with the broth! Finished with a warm sticky toffee cake, highly recommended!

Pearl Diver never disappoints! We were 5 friends, shared oysters and a ton of appetizers. We all had specialty cocktails and then shared some wine, the desserts were delicious too. Our server was Luna, and she was amazing! Pearl Diver is always 5/5, I’ve been coming for years, you won’t be disappointed!
