Great staff, smile and wasn’t rude. Always scared to go to these places as a black person. Because not sure what would be the treatment. Since it’s not always great. But the staff at this pearl vision was kind and treat me with respect just like any other customer. So I would recommend them to others.

Full-service onsite Lab in addition to their big selection of frames. Every time I've visited over the years, I've always experienced excellent customer service from this location's friendly and knowledgeable team!

The prescription I had is not what they filled. Glasses never were right.
Let's discuss pricing. 2 for 1, um no. Not even close. They are over priced and not even close to advertised. Maybe this is the norm for many opticians but I was shocked that it was SOOOO different from the actual advertising prices. Ended up getting a pair of progressives that cost over $600.00 and never did meet the prescription even a little. Do NOT RECOMMEND WASTING TIME OR MONEY ON THIS LOCATION.

Went in to see if they could repair my frame with a bent hinge. They broke the glasses and gave me a non-comparable set of frames to replace them. No charge, but I would've rather kept my old frames as they no longer make them and been told "sorry I don't think I can fix this" instead of breaking what I now understand as irreplaceable frames.

I was given the cost of the lens upfront and with this information I was able to shop for the frames based on style and cost of the frame and the total cost wasn't a mystery because I already had the cost of the lens known. When you are in a cost conscious situation this was most perfect. Whereas a competitor wouldn't give me the cost of the lens until I picked out some frames. So as I'm looking at the different frames and different costs I have no way of doing mental math to see what the total would be, would it surpass my benefits or not and should I put the frames in the tray or not. I didn't like how I felt at the competitors so I gave them back their tray empty and returned to Pearl Vision as I did my due diligence and shopped around and found their customer service, costs and style all worked well for me.

Do NOT buy your glasses from Pearl Vision Kingston. I made the mistake of purchasing the extended warranty on my set and it is a complete scam. I will not be shopping here again.
