Peavey Mart (Formerly TSC Stores)

Peavey mart is a tough one to rate, I like their stores, but from them but my local pm in Kingston is pretty poor, they rarely have inventory of the sale items I’m looking for, the local store management does not control the ordering process I’m told, this is a mistake, when they do have sale they have decent values, like animal feed products but overall peavey mart is frustrating to shop at for flyer items

Some good deals, I always check the flyer for sales. Some products are overpriced so I check other stores before I make a big purchase there. Overall, good store and nice staff.

Bought a generator here and had some issues. The people at this store stepped up to the plate so well I was so impressed. Ended up going over and above solving my problem and I was on my way.

True small town feel and care for their customers. This was my first purchase from this store, but will absolutely not be my last.

An interesting store with lots of neat items. I love to browse the store for as long as I can. Prices are somewhat higher than similar stores in other towns but if convenience is more important than price, you can't beat it. That and the fact that they have hardware that you would have a hard time finding elsewhere.

Their stock is being depleted they don't seem to be getting new stock in to replace in there twice out of stock

So my old ride-on mower broke down just as I was sarting to mow our 2-acre lawn and the one I wanted to replace it with (a zero-turn Husqvarna Z254) was not available anywhere in Ottawa. They were all special order, with a 2-3 week wait. But these folks had it in stock. My lawn is now freshly mowed in half the time it took before. Well worth the trip to Smiths Falls to pick it up.

Did an online order, and when we were there to pick up, they said it would be a few days despite receiving the email that our order was ready. We ended up speaking to someone, and getting our order anyway, but was a bit of a run around.

The staff are awesome and very helpful. I must add after going this week to Smith Falls, bought 60. Aprox.worth of stuff, then went to Brockville to see if they had the double hose connector, none on shelves left, but the Young Genevieve said I will check in boxes on top shelf, there were lots. Most stores say if not on shelf or hooks we have none, she went above and beyond, what great service, plus we got our senior discount. Only wish Smith Falls had given us the senior discount on our 60.worth of stuff. I am 76, hubby 65 they could tell we were senior but we had never been offered or knew of last Tues. Of every month. But can't beat the great service we have been to Peavey 5 or 6 times in May, hubby's new go to store, goodbye Can. Tire

Great spot for most things you need. Feed prices are decent. Plumbing was pretty poorly stocked, might be supply due to covid not sure, but there were no PEX fittings left in the whole isle.

Amazing store. They literally have everything!
Visited during Covid lockdown. They did a great job of keeping everyone safe while also keeping people moving.

This and many more are very poorly managed, customer will leave the items where found if not priced properly the store is cluttered with many items out of category. For the most part the store is poorly staffed and cluttered not my favorite place to go!

We purchased a bee hive for my Dad at Christmas and ordered bees in the spring. What an incredible experience. We received regular updates from the process of harvesting and packaging the bees for delivery, to the day they arrived. Our emails included pictures and descriptions of the process every step of the way. We received and email directly after our bees arrived at the pic up location (just after 5 in the morning). What a fantastic opportunity! Thank you! @

Only getting up and running tho Big Grand Opening sale was a good lure with little return on most items displayed. Staff however were engaging to customers.

Fill a Tsc dog food card and Peavey won't respect it even though the dog food bags in the store say TSC on them. You've lost a customer over 1 bag of dog food.

Good store layout, friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, and a good variety in stock. This is where I go when I can't find that one specific utility item I need anywhere else because what ever I need they usually have it in stock and ready to go.

Second time in store looking for a men's jacket. Very frustrating. They have to many jackets crammed together that its very difficult to get one off the rack. Twice was enough. Wont shop there again.

This is the only TSC in the province that doesn’t price match Home Depot. The manager said that they only price match stores in Smiths Falls. SMH. I drove from kemptville because they didn’t have one. Then I had to drive to Brockville TSC and they price matched no problem. I don’t like Managers who make up their own rules and don’t follow franchise policies. Oh well I know where not to go next time. Brockville, Kemptville, Rockland Price match. Go there! I saved 180$!
