Always a great experience here. Get wood pellets every so often but this time there were lots of bags ripped. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Everything was 15 percent off too.

Good selection. I purchase whole and deer corn for hunting. Prices are as good as anywhere else.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with an employee named Rose at Peavey Mart, and I can honestly say that it was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I wouldn't wish this kind of treatment on my worst enemy.
From the moment I approached Rose for assistance, it was clear that she had no interest in helping me or providing even a basic level of customer service. She greeted me with a scowl and a dismissive attitude, as if I were inconveniencing her by seeking assistance in the store. I understand that everyone has bad days, but this level of rudeness was inexcusable.
When I asked Rose a simple question about a product, she responded with a condescending tone and minimal information. It was as if she couldn't be bothered to provide a helpful answer. When I pressed for more details, she rolled her eyes and walked away, leaving me standing there in disbelief.
I decided to give Rose the benefit of the doubt and approached her again later with a different question. This time, she didn't even acknowledge my presence. She continued chatting with a coworker, completely ignoring me. It was as if I were invisible.
I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism and common courtesy displayed by Rose. In all my years of shopping, I have never encountered such a rude and unhelpful employee. It's clear that she has no understanding of what it means to provide good customer service.
My experience with Rose at Peavey Mart was absolutely abysmal, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid her if you value even the most basic level of respect and courtesy. Peavey Mart should seriously reconsider employing individuals like Rose if they want to maintain a positive reputation and retain customers. This was an appalling experience that I won't soon forget.

TSC was undeniably amazing until it turned into Perve Mart (gf and I call it that). They never have what we need, staff is mostly clueless, and guarantee at least 80% of thr 5 star reviews in the last year are fake. Very generic positive reviews and completely false. I strongly believe this place is going to shut their doors in the near future. There's no way they can run a business like they do.

They have a wide variety of supplies for the home and farm. Great to browse and get those handy items you knew you needed and some things you find that you always needed

Hate the new name, as the world is fed up with the arrogance of big business people who use their last name for their chain stores (it's fine for 1 or 2 small-town stores, but not once you hit the big leagues). Nevertheless, I love my TSC store - the staff here are generally friendly, and (except for some dog food shortages that everyone has) I can get what I need

Wouldn’t sell me any Malathion to control Chinch Bug. Told me I needed a “pesticide licence. ” Total Garbage! No licences required anywhere else in Ontario and product sold out everywhere with the extremely hot summer. Get your facts straight Peavey Mart!

I'm beginning to feel Peavy Mart is not legit.
I have an outstanding order and I'm getting no updates at all. I was told it was the End of May. We're now in June. And I'm at a loss on how to contact you.
Your phone system hangs up on me, my emails asking for updates are going ignored and you have my money (over $1400 of it for my order) and I'm getting crickets back.

It's a great place to shop.when they actually stock the shelves. This site would be awesome but at least 30-40% of items are not in stock and the shelves are empty. Very disappointing.

Great service on the phone and in the yard with 3 staff helping me load my trailer.

There was a woman who helped me out last I visited. Debbie? Super friendly holy smokes and she honoured a sale on an item just after it went off sale.

They are typically busy so expect the parking lot to be a bit of a scuffle too.

I keep going back for things now: rain barrel, top soil, bird feeder, fire pit.

Great place to get all your birder supplies including outdoor gear, bird seed, bird feeders, etc.

Went to get pellets just wish they were hard wood pellets and not soft wood. However they're the only ones open to get pellets.

Not real friendly, very low inventory. I felt it was a waiste of my time really. CTC is still by far the go to place

Place was ok. Items on sale shelves not on sale. Staff said they didn't have enough time to fix it.

Lots of great stuff and fair prices. Especially good for "farm" type items (like fencing) that you won't find at a regular hardware store. But on items where the big box retailers carry it, TSC will tend to be more expensive. Weekly sales are great but the biggest problem is a BIG lack of stock at the Kemptville store. Been disappointed many times. Order on line and pickup works well. Can even call ahead to see if they have it before you make the drive.

Staff are not helpful and dismissive. Avoid if possible. Even entering the store you need to rub shoulders with a clerk in their narrow entrance. They need new management here to get process and staff back into a customer service frame of mind. Picked up an ecom order. Spent 30 min at the cash. One item was supposedly not there, which it was and the other items were incorrect. Ended up leaving with only a partial order after waiting 10 days for simple items that are regular stock items. Aurora get it together, I have spoken to other TSC stores that have the same experiences with Kemptville store.

$9.44 Amazon. I needed it, had a friend pick it up. I can assure you it will be the last time we darken a TSC doorway. I knew we would pay more at TSC but 3 times the price? That goes past price gouging into a whole other realm

Another great experience at the TSC - always have what we need and always find something unique! It was close to closing time but everyone was super helpful, very friendly, and staff appeared to work well together.

Decent place, went for boots. Selection was poor. Either you paid $99 or $200. Where are the mid prices?

Ordered an item online this morning, got a call early this afternoon that it was ready. Picked it up mid afternoon with the assistance of 2 very pleasant staff.

Terrible customer service. Do not buy boots here! I paid almost $300.00 for a pair of high quality work boots LOL! When the heel came off of one of them only a couple of months later I was told no refund or replacement from the store. O well from now on I'll shop somewhere that stands behind their products.

Good store, but the warehouse is a disaster area, and the young staff seem to be sitting around back there, hopefully just in the middle of getting organized. They did not have what I needed, staff in the back just said it was somewhere in the mess. Really wish I could have a more organized and professional store other than this one. The interior store is not bad though, it's a TSC store, so I guess dusty products has always been the norm. Sort of hit or miss here, but I always try to find what I need.

Sometimes you go in there because something's in the flyer and it seems they don't have it.only drawback

The store is well stocked, the staff is always curtious and know the store well enough to put you within feet of your desired item. Their efforts in the community at large attests to their commitment. This is a store that's worth the effort to make a review. I only gave 4 out of five stars because no person or business is perfect.they do come closer than most

Store is clean, staff are friendly. Store manager “Donna” is awful to deal with, always rude and talks down to you. Multiple occasions I’ve had her serve me and she is just plain rude every single time. Won’t be back as long as she’s the store manager.

As usual the price of an item on shelf is different than the price you pay at cash. Has happened on multiple occasions and has not been in my favor. I will now only buy items that are on sale.

Always has what we need for little jobs around the farm, and some things we don't need but can't resist.

Great store with friendly staff, lots of parking. Usually located within the same shopping radius as Canadian Tire and Home Depot, it is wise to shop around as TSC sometimes has some awesome deals that are not matched by other retailers. The online experience is decent, I usually cross shop TSC when looking for items online. In store experience is good, usually lots of stuff you don't see at the other retailers (like princess auto). I often like to wander for a bit when I have some time to kill. Recommended.
