I lived two nights here, but there’s no hot water in less than one minute. I suggested the host but she thought was our problem. She never replied me after my second mail to her. Honestly, it’s such a really bad experience to live here.

Would not recommend to stay there.over priced motel can never get ahold of the management as soon as we reported the problems they biled our credit card.it's a scam they promised to give back some of the money back but we never got back a dime.they need to be reported to better business bureau.

I have filed multiple claims to the ONATRIO Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Better Business Bureau against these people. SCAM MOTEL! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Our room had a dirty floor and no TV service at all. Wasn't even connected and when we connected it realized that the Shaw receiver had no valid account. The mattresses on the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Our toilet wouldn't flush so the manager had to let us use the storeroom toilet which didn't even have toilet paper! When we mentioned that we didn't think it was fair to pay full price she wouldn't budge and in fact charged us additional fees because we had our 12 year old son with us which we're pretty consent we listed on the Expedia site when booking. We will be disputing the charges and do NOT recommend this motel. This was NOT a $300 a night worthy motel!

Do Not Stay in this Motel! Owner is very sketchy, room was not clean, and bed sheet had blood stains on it. They over charged us on top of the overpriced room and never answered the phone or email afterwards. This is basically scamming. We made a mistake booking this place, but read the reviews before you get scammed too!

Terrible experience.we booked three rooms. We were supposed to check in after 3pm, But there was nobody there when we arrived at 3: 30. I called the number post on the door. She told me they don't have 3 rooms ready, and wanted to place all of our six persons into a two-bedroom apartment. We rejected, then she said she will find some rooms as we booked. While didn't get any feedback from her in a couple of hours, I called expedia trying to get some other option. The funny thing is the motel charged from my credit card when I was calling expedia.what was even funny is expedia told me the are not sure whether I can get refound from the hotel if I chose some other option. Eventually we went back to the motel in rooms with bad situation. One with problem in the washroom, the other one with the door couldn't be locked.
The next day I called to ask for receipt, she said she will provide later, when I asked how she will provide, then she said she was hiking, I shouldn't bother her.

The room was very clean and large, check-in was easy and quick, and location good. The picnic tables outside are great too. I would recommend this motel except for the noise issue. See below.

I stayed 5 nights and on 2 of these, there was tremendous noise that prevented me from sleeping even with earplugs in. On the first night, a dog next door was howling nonstop from 10 pm to past 11 pm, I phoned the motel number and received the message that the mailbox was full, so I texted as directed - no reply at all.
On the second night, 2 families decided to party outside until 1 am.
Being a solo female traveller with no staff on site, there is no way I'm going to speak to a loud guest, due to fear, especially when a dog is involved.

We also just checked our credit card and found out that they overcharged us for the room. Wish I could do zero stars! Terrible, unprofessional and a scam motel. They should be reported.

The air conditioning wasn't working. No water after 8 in the morning and enough toiletries weren't provided. The reception says they are open at 9 but none were available to attend for any of the concerns. Too pricy for the services provided!

I stayed here 1 year ago for half the price, with friendly service, a continental breakfast, ice and a clean room. This year no continental breakfast, although the roadside sign still states continental breakfast! No ice. And staff said “it’s against the law” to clean the room if you stay more than 1 night. (I booked 2) Never will I stay here. $255/per night. They also charged my credit card before I arrived! Although the confirmation email stated I would NOT be charged prior to arrival.

This is my worst renting experience ever.

We checked in around 7pm and the owner told us it was fully booked, so she settled us in a room in her office residence. It was small and everything needs to be shared.
The first night she started setting up beds for campers during mid night in the breakfast room (no wonder other travellers have no breakfast as advertised) and made it crowded very noisy. The second night she started hosting parties to strangers in the house and kept us awake until 2am. We checked out and drove back at 3am. She agreed to repay 1 night's fee but it never happened.

The new owner took over this place in less a year and is very unprofessional. The place is poorly managed like a GTA rooming house and almost ruined/cancelled our entire vocation.

Room was dirty. A lot of flies on the ceiling. We can’t lock the door from the outside. We tried to get a refund and the boss said we found out about it too late

We have been staying here for years. The hotel is nice, not great but clean and big rooms. There are new owners this year (2021). Had booking since Feb for July and Aug and just before we were to arrive the owner had a rant on the phone saying she didn't know of she could have us because all her staff quite, etc. Very unprofessional as I was just calling to confirm our bookings for 3 days later. We were able to stay 1 weekend in July but she charged us more than the email booking confirmation I had and asked us to find other accommodations for Aug. I know other people as well that have been charged more than what is confirmed so please be aware.

The owner Alice overbooks and puts people in "her" residence on mattresses on the floor! She was very conniving and doesn't give you a price for your stay until it's too late to go somewhere else and you'd had a couple drinks. Then calls the police when she knocks on your door in the middle of the night when you've been sleeping and demand a ridiculous amount and wants your credit card.

I had booked a room for 22-23 May. On the website while booking i had got total amount as 153.67$ including taxes and additional charges. Than when i went there front desk person Alice charged me 186.45$. I showed her the email of booking that room online, so she told me to pay 186.45$ for now and later she told me she will get back to that website from which i booked and ask them to refund me back and also email me the same thing as confirmation. Since it was long weekend she told me to wait till Tuesday and than she will email me as well as the website to get back refund. She never contacted me nor received any of my calls and at the end off day they charged me extra. New way to get extra $$$ from guests. Never ever visit this place.

Me and my friends booked a room in this motel last weekend. As per the booking details I supposed to pay less amount and front desk person charged us more and told us that we will get that extra money back. She didn’t call us and even she didn’t send any email to the website from where we booked a room. I am still trying to call her and she is not answering my call and even not giving a reply of my text messages. So now this is a new scam to earn some extra money from customers. I recommend not to visit this place ever as I don’t want others to get cheated while enjoying holidays.

We stayed here in 2020 Feb before Covid started.
I never saw such a clean motel in Canada before. Although the rate is pretty high as compared to the winter but we were really impressed with the room cleanness, size of the room, behavior of the staff available during check-in. The overall experience is very good.

Great time by the fire and bbq steak/chicken. Rooms are clean with tv fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. Great value.

Great stay. Beds aren't the best but otherwise a nice clean motel with super helpful and friendly management.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Room was very modern and extremely clean. We stayed two nights and enjoyed it immensely.

Our room was super clean, some of the furnishings were older but had been refreshed which was a nice surprise. For the price I was blown away to discover continental breakfast was included. I only had one complaint, the curtains offered limited privacy if they just added 2 more panels it would be perfect, I included a picture of the curtains so you can see what I mean. Still a great place to stay.

Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast is included though its just bread and cereals mostly with coffee/tea. The TV or the coffee machine in our room was not working. Because it was for a night we didnt ask them to fix it. Its an hour drive from Tobermory.

J'ai aimé mon séjour dans ce motel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et fonctionnelles. Le wifi par contre est extrêmement lent et les chaînes du câble limitées. Par contre il y a des modules de jeu pour les enfants et il y a une salle dédiée pour le petit déjeuner très appréciée.

It’s not bad. Walls are kinda thin, TV is tiny and the duvets don’t have covers. Location is good.

Awesome location and views from room’s window. Friendly staff. Utilities working properly. Neat and clean beds. Washrooms well cleaned. Only one fly was disturbing me.

Was hesitant to stay looking at the outside. Changed my mind completely when I met the staff and slept in a clean, quiet room for a better than decent price

The people are so nice and helpful. Place is clean and well maintained. Quite a lovely little spot.

Decent pricing with a fantastic motel attendant. She went out of her way to provide a cott for one extra person, at no charge.
Decent breakfast for the price. Large room with peaceful quiet throughout the night.

It was clean and neat and as per our expectations.
The room had a fridge, TV and oven and all worked well.off course an AC and heater too was in the room.
The bathroom was really clean which we really liked.
The motel had a small store too mainly for convenience- can buy things like milk and bread.
The room rates are competitive and payment was taken on the spot.
The breakfast served was more than enough - tea, coffee, milk, cereals, bread, donuts, jam, yogurt. Think the only things missing were eggs and bacon.
They have a playground too for the kids - well maintained and adjacent to the rooms.
The motel provides barbeques too with the propane cylinders- at least I saw it on the lawns.
It is located just outside main Wiarton on Highway 6 and you cannot miss it.

Nicely renovated motel with no carpet! Windows are to the back of the place so you don't have to look at the highway which was nice!
We barely heard the cars passing which was great.
They also have a BBQ available so bring you burgers and meats to BBQ!
Also pet friendly!

Clean rooms. Continental breakfast. Pet friendly rooms. Super friendly folks. Way better than my experience at other motels in wiarton.

Close enough to tobbermory, good bed, pillows and sheets, it was super clean, renovated bathroom, the staff was friendly. I super recommend it. On the con: The fridge had no door for the freezer inside, and the breakfast was simple and the placement of things didn't encourage a line to be formed, could be, as a suggestion, changed in a way that you start from somewhere and move clockwise. Those are minor cons. As you can't beat the price, and cleanliness, silence and service are everything, 5-stars. I would go again.
