The best customer service that my fiancée and I have had at a People’s. Olga helped us at the time and she was very patient and understanding of our budget. She even helped us pick out the right wedding bands for our price point. Thank you again Olga!
Visited the store with my mom and received great customer service from Kirsan for informing us about what was on sale across the store and Victoria who helped me make a decision and had cashed us out. The friendliness these two store reps provided us was impeccable. Keep up the great job that you both do with serving your customers.
Talia was very helpful. She showed me all the rings which I wanted to see and explained different things to me. Whenever I ever go back to Peoples store in Vaughan, I will definitely will seek her out. The fives stars are all for her extraordinary customer services.

We have purchased a ring with diamonds for my mom about 4 months ago, we have sent it to her as a gift and we find out that the gold is 14k and diamonds are not real diamonds! We have paid $1400 for a ring that not worth more than $500, we have contacted so many time but unfortunately no one is responsible.
My in store experience at this location wasn’t bad my only issue is that I was told that my wedding band would take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to come in. I just phone to see the status of my order and was now told 8-12 weeks lol 3 months for a wedding band, save yourself some time and go somewhere else.
Oh I never write a bad review. But this one deserves the blast.

All employees in the store are careless of every customer that walk in. No one greets here and no one here took initiative to let customers know their number in line.
I got skipped thrice; there's no reason to it.
I even waited close to the previous customer that was helped.
These older employees do not enjoy their role here. And it shows. Walks super slow and counter is very messy. Anything can go missing (of course cameras)
I've work in retail before, and this is not how to bring back customers in the store.
There definitely needs to be a refreshed group of employees here.
My experience was ruined by the very rude Assistant Manager, Merna. She definitely doesn’t understand the definition of customer service! Like many others here, I left the store feeling angry and frustrated. My husband and I went to choose a new ring for our anniversary. I found something that I liked and it was ordered. When we went to pick it up, Merna approached us with a sour face to basically ask what we wanted. We told her we were picking up what we had ordered. When I tried it on, it was too big. That’s when Merna just lost it, and made a huge deal about returning the ring and ordering the correct size. She told us it was sold out when it wasn’t, and was angered when we showed her on my phone that it was available and that we wanted her to order it, “You want ME to do it? ! ” She snapped at us several times, would not answer simple questions, and was the ruddest retail worker I have ever encountered! All this despite admitting herself that the ring was too loose. Honestly if I hadn’t spent a bunch of time choosing a ring that I like, I would have gone to another store.
The only reason why I am giving this review a 3 star is because of the associate Sofia who helped us. My husband and I went in to look for earing's for our daughter. Sofia approached us and asked if we needed help. There were a specific pair we were looking at. We really liked this particular pair, but wanted to continue to look around. There was another pair we saw in another case, Sofia and an older lady (European) were behind the cash desk. I looked directly at Sofia, and asked if we can see these ones. The older lady came right up beside me, and I said, sorry but that girl was already helping us. This lady rolled her eyes at me, looked at Sofia, and said Go they want you. Are you kidding me? There were quite a bit of customers in the store for her to help so no need for this lady to be acting like that. We told Sofia, we just wanted to walk around the mall and we'll be back. When we came back, Sofia was came to us and I told her that we wanted to purchase the earings. She let me inspect them to ensure they were fine. As this was going on, the old miserable lady was giving me the death stare as she was helping customers. Really? Pay attention to your customers if you are desperate for your commission.
Jenny from Vaughan mills store was extremely knowledgeable, very kind and welcoming, and did help us alot during our visits to the store. She did make sure all of our questions were answered and wanted to make sure we find the right ring with no pressure, it was a pleasant experience. I will recommend anyone looking to buy a ring to meet Jenny at Peoples Vaughan mills. She is the best
Pathetic pathetic staff, I think old staff that has attitude should be made redundant due the fact that I said excuse me to an older staff member, and she responded with NO NO NO! And walked away! I get it, it’s a day before mothers day but please have more professional staff members, when we are paying hundreds we should not have to be greeted by these pathetic rude staff members. Went into the store to purchase a gift for my mom for Mother’s Day. I walked in the store around 5: 50,6pm and it was busy, i understand. So I looked around and found an item. I was already set on purchasing it and was ready to cash out when another woman came, another woman who was dressed well unlike a Young girl like me dressed in sweats. The other associates chose to help the woman that just walked in. Completely ignored me. I went to the cash register and ask if there is anyone else that can help me get this Item and the woman who has just recently got a nose job (had tapes on her nose) told me, “ I just helped this customer, there’s a guy over there waiting, I gotta help him first. ” I knew right there, the service was garbage. Never going back there again. A young woman shouldn’t feel like these associates wouldn’t help her because she seemed like she couldn’t afford anything and just looking around… compared to the associate I had at eaton centre when I purchase three set of jewelries for me and my sisters, this location and Vaughn and their associates are by far the worst! And to think that peoples was for the peoples jewelry, I had to second guess if it really is, because I was so disappointed. I left, and peoples just lost a “valued” customer.
We stood in the store for 20 minutes and asked multiple associates for the price of an item and they all said “we don’t know”. Really? If you don’t know the price of items in your store may be you shouldn’t work there? Completely rude and unprofessional.
Manager is rude. When you try calling the store no one ever answers the phone. It's been over 7 weeks and I am still waiting for my ring to be repaired.
Before coming to pickup my fiancee’s resized engagement ring, I called this location to see if it was alright if I could pick it up, without the receipt and proof of purchases. I was told as long as I could bring my ID and provide the details I had provided when purchasing the ring it would be fine. To my dismay upon arrival, a young man with greasy hair, seeming to be a new worker attempted to postpone the pickup, despite the 90m drive we had to partake in traffic after work to collect it - simply because he did not wish to complete the computer work in certifying I was the buyer as my wife and I overheard him say under his breath. He demanded we return another time twice, even though the location was not busy, rudely questioning from where in Downtown we travelled from rather than showing customer service and doing the due diligence in finalizing our order. His lack of knowledge over what is and is not allowed in People’s Jeweller is not from inexperience, but from indifference and he is a lazy man who foolishly opts out of completing hard tasks than treating a high paying customer with respect. I have spent thousands at this location, and although I did receive the resized ring at the end of this ordeal, it left a bad taste in my mouth and I do not appreciate being treated intolerably especially for no reason. I will not shop here again if it’s so hard to be treated with respect. To the lady who helped me pick out this ring, thank you, your service was exemplar and I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for what happened today. To the owner of this location, you can fix inexperience in somebody but you cannot fix a foolish and apathetic worker. Thank you.
The Assistant Manager Merna was absolutely amazing. She put the rings we were initially interested in on hold allowing us to shop around before making up our minds. She even extended a sale by a day to accommodate our needs. Ultimately I am glad we came back and purchased out wedding bands at Peoples Vaughn Mills.
Pretty crazy you spend good money on a watch and they won't even replace the battery after 30 days. It hasn't even been seven months since I purchased the watch and the battery stopped working.
It's nice but mostly in rings they haven't available all sizes.otherwise you have to wait almost one and half week. But overall customer service is good.
Had bought bulova watch 2 years ago, also lifetime battery replacement warranty for extra 60$, when I visited today to get the battery replaced she told me that they can’t as I don’t have the bill from 2 years ago, then I asked her to put watch’s serial number or my contact details, she said as they are busy it will take time, there’s another person replacing batteries for 15-20$ u can go there and get it replaced, and when I asked her why should I go there as I have paid for services here 2 years ago, then she again trying to send me out of store by saying as it’s pandemic battery replacement will take 2-3 months of total, I should take my watch back with me. And when I said I don’t have problem with waiting for 2 months, her face expressions changes as if I’m very bad person, by asking her to provide the warranty services for which I have paid for
My boyfriend and I walked in peoples looking for an engagement ring and a mature woman with short blond hair assisted us. She was rude and short and didn't listen to what I was looking for and assumed that we had a low budget. She also kept pushing for their 20% off sale wich we could care less about. She was trying to tell me what to like as aposed to listening to what I was looking for. Needless to say we left empty handed with a bitter experience as these special moments should be exciting. We ended up at Michael Hills with amazing customer service. I highly recommend not even walking in here. Don't waste your time.
Have been desperately trying to contact this location for hours now. Other locations agreed that this location is notorious for that. How is this customer service? Reached out to their chat service and they said go to the store. I don’t live near this store to go there and ask one question. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Will definitely NOT recommend this location. Only way I’ll make a trek down there is to get my money back
Really awful customer service. I got my diamond put into a new setting, looked great but had concerns around the security of the diamond. They dismissed my concern and said that they have the best workers and it would never fall out. I went back about two months later and asked if they could make it more secure and got the same response. A few months (about 7 months) later noticed the diamond indeed fell out. When I went back for they told me it’s only within six months that they could help and turned me away. It was 100% their fault and yet they did not help me. It’s not a sweater I lost it’s a diamond. Don’t trust this chain, they are notnice people unfortunately even though they have a selection of nice rings. I’m devastated.
Worst customer service ever! I don't recommend goign to this location again. Only came out here because the inlaws live near by. The workers are so lazy and don't care for customers. Buyer beware!
I came to this location to look for an engagement ring and the associate who greeted me was so rude. She looked at me up and down as I came into the store and her answers to my questions were not helpful at all. I asked her if they had a simple gold band with stones and she said no right away and I saw a whole display case with them? I will be looking for a ring elsewhere. Just an overall bad experience, even a smile goes a long way.
I must say that i was very skeptical about what is going to happen when i walk into the store but i will say that i am 100% pleased with the customer service shown. Nader the manager was quick to assist me with my problem i had with my wife's ring. He did not have the ring in store in order to replace the one that i brought in so he called around and made it happen. My wife is getting her ring in 24-48 hours and i couldn't be happier. 5 star service all the way! For anyone who's skeptical about this place because of the ill reviews i suggest you go ahead and purchase something.

Terrific service at People's Vaughan Mills Mall, with a special thanks to Sales Associate Patty and Manager Nader. I always receive 5 star treatment from this location. They know the true meaning of customer service. Patty is always friendly, positive and willing to help - she always makes me feel comfortable in the store. Nader exceeded my expectations by thoroughly listening to my concern, offering to help and following through with a solution. It is reassuring to know that there are still people who care about their customers. Thanks again to Patty and Nader for the amazing service!

Completely disgusting experience. I was beyond excited for the ring I ordered. It had to be sent out to be sized and they gave us a time frame of 8-10 weeks. We never heard anything so we began calling and they would say "No, not here. Call back next week. " Move ahead 18 weeks later and we were still waiting. We called yesterday and the lady said it was Ready for pick up. To say I was excited was an understatement. I asked if she'd go find the physical ring so I knew for sure it was there. She comes back and sure enough she couldn't find it. She asked if I'd call back in the morning when the store manager, Nader was there. Now Nader, the most useless person I've ever met. I have worked in customer service my whole life so Im very patient to those in the industry *especially* during the holiday season. But for someone who services people to help make their weddings and delicate ceremonies special. He is rude, condescending, disrespectful and has no sympathy. It doesn't matter if you are spending $100 or $10,000 every person walking in there should be treated the same. We got a refund and went to Michael Hill. The second we walked in they were eager to make sure we felt comfortable and special. The experience there was second to none. Do not waste your time with People's. There are better options out there.
Recently bought a chain for my mother-in-law for Christmas. It was hard picking something out since I'm not too familiar with her tastes but the manager was super helpful and after talking me through my purchase had one of the sales associates ring me up (can't remember her name!). Will gladly come back here although the parking situation was awful!
Bought a earring with lifetime protection plan and four month after the stone start falling out one by one take it back to the store and was told they had none in stock to call and find out when they have, so I call and the person on the phone was very rude and say they don’t have keep calling everyday and their is nothing she can do. I spend my money on the earring plus warranty, and yes they do treat you denpens on your colour.
This is not the first time I purchase from this store.for now I know most of the staff and the manager (Nader). They are all friendly and they always help the customers in finding the best deals and offers
Becareful, do all your due diligence before purchasing from here. Their staff will do whatever it takes to sell you their rings since they make commission on them. They lied about how I can make special order for a different ring size. After few weeks of purchasing the ring it turns out I couldn’t special order to the size I wanted nor resize.
