Had the most peaceful pedicure today with Olivia, the atmosphere was so soothing and the whole treatment was so comforting. Popped by for a little birthday treat as a pregnant mama and it was so lovely! I’ve also had a facial here once and that was lovey too, they made sure to carefully read all the ingredients with my allergies!

Amazing experience yesterday at Peppermint Spa! I got a pedicure by Olivia V and she did an incredible job. Her colour recommendation, skills and bubbly personality made the experience even better. Beautiful and clean building, nice staff and it smells incredible in there. No headaches from nail polish fumes at all. The treatment I got left my toes/feet looking perfect for an upcoming wedding. Really recommend checking this place out and asking for Olivia V. Going back with my mom soon!

I had a facial appointment with Lauren. It was my fourth time with her and she is so knowledgeable and good at her work! Loved the work, environment and behaviour there! Overall, it’s a nice place to enjoy a wonderful spa day!

Had my first ever waxing appointment with Heather and she was amazing. She made an intimidating experience pleasant and enjoyable.

Currently not offering in-person product purchases. Updated my review to 5 stars as to not harm the business’ reputation. An update to your voicemail and website informing your community that walk-in services are temporarily unavailable due to change in staffing would be awesome. Then patrons like myself, who primarily access your business for product purchases, can be informed when this service returns - I would much rather support a local business than an online conglomerate. Today I had my first facial at The Peppermint Organic Spa and it was an amazing experience that I absolutely loved! From the moment I walked in, the lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Heather was my esthetician, and she was exceptional! She had a great sense of humor and an impressive amount of knowledge about skincare. She listened attentively to my concerns and altered some products of the treatment to suit my skin type, leaving me with nourished, soft, and breathable skin. The products used during the treatment were not only effective, but also had a delightful aroma that left me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

The atmosphere of the spa is clean, cozy, and inviting, and the staff are simply outstanding. The combination of their expertise, professionalism, and warm personalities truly made the experience ten times better. I am so glad to have found The Peppermint Spa and have no doubt that I will be a returning customer. If you're looking for a high-quality spa experience, I highly recommend checking them out.

Lovely staff. Just started laser hair removal with Heather. Excited to see results. Heather is great with answering questions and explaining the process. I have had Heather also do other waxing and is great with this as well. Definitely recommend this spa!

I recently had the best facial of my life at peppermint spa. I had a Full master facial treatment with amazing Eminence products and my face feels incredible. The skin and product consult made such a huge difference to me as someone with super sensitive skin I was left feeling cleansed and hydrated after my treatment. Charmaine will take great care of you which is no surprise after her 21 years of experience. The staff are friendly and the spa itself is extremely charming. I can’t wait to come back.

Just finished having a wonderful manicure performed by the very lovely Olivia. It was my first Peppermint Spa visit and enjoyed every minute of it. All of the staff are friendly. Mia welcomed me with her warm smile. Olivia is a breath of fresh air and she did a great job. I will definitely be back and have booked my next appointment. Love the location too!

Just found my new spa! I went for the first time and had a brow and bikini waxing. The woman at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and customer oriented. Heather was so friendly and knowledgeable, and super patience with me being a wimp in the bikini wax. I was expecting it to hurt as much as all the other spas I have been to but Heather’s technique and use of hard wax made it *almost* pain free and we were laughing through the whole thing. I highly recommend!

My appointment at Peppermint Organic spa with Heather for a facial and mini microdermabrasion was excellent. Heather was personable and professional and I was lucky enough to experience one of the best facials I have ever had. Just came from this spa after having a wonderful relaxing massage with my massage therapist Olivia. Everyone was very friendly and very polite would recommend this spa anytime.

After many months of not waxing, I expected my first sugaring experience back to be brutal. Though not entirely painless (to be expected), the esthetician (Caitlyn, I think) was efficient, professional, and very thorough. Will definitely be returning!

I’ve been a client at the Peppermint Spa since it opened, and a client of Charmaine’s (the owner) since 2008. No matter which corner of the city I have lived in, I have travelled to Charmaine and her team of estheticians for services, because, quite simply, she is the absolute best in the business. The receptionist is always warm, friendly, and quick to greet and serve you upon arrival, the spa is pristinely clean and a calm and relaxing environment, and any treatment I have ever received there has been perfection. My eyebrows are my “thing” and I won’t let anyone else touch them. Charmaine is the consummate professional, an esthetics expert, and has handled the stresses of COVID-19 and the impact it has had on small businesses with grace and resiliency. If I could give Charmaine and her team ten stars, I would.

I went for a facial at the beginning of August and had a fantastic esthetician. I had purchased multiple products that were recommended for my skin/used during the facial. I have worked with Eminence products before (I am an esthetician as well) and was very excited that I found a spa close to home that sells these products. Unfortunately the moisturizer that was recommended for my skin did not end up agreeing with me skin. I had called the spa to see what options I had and they recommended I send them pictures. My skin was left bumpy, red, itchy and irritated from using this moisturizer. I did send in pictures and Charmaine (the owner) replied to the email the next day stating that Eminence can only return the product if I am having an allergic reaction and burning skin.she also said this moisturizer was not suited for my skin as I "do not have sun damage" when in fact the pictures I sent in clearly show the hyperpigmentation I have on my skin. Why was I recommended this moisturizer if it's "not suitable for my skin"? Being a manager of a spa for many years and working with Eminence this is not how skin reactions to products were handled.

I emailed back explaining more in depth about my skin and saying I am happy to exchange this product for another moisturizer I have used in the past and also purchase the powder SPF and never heard anything back.

I have called the spa to see if I am able to speak with her over the phone to rectify this and again.have not heard anything back.

I am so disappointed, will not be returning or recommending this spa to anyone as their customer service is terrible.

I am so happy I made it to this spa. They opened up just before my due date. I am ecstatic I am able to pamper myself before my baby comes. Amazing service, lovely building, perfect atmosphere. Great for pregnant or new mamas, I went at 39 weeks pregnant and will be going back next week and after the babe is born. As moms, we need some relaxing time to ourselves for sure. Worth the drive as I live about a half hour away. Caitlin G is amazing, highly recommend the Deluxe Brazilian Sugaring.

My go-spa for waxing and Eminence Organic facials. I highly recommend them for waxing including Brazilians. They make you feel totally comfortable and the results are great. The atmosphere is wonderful and the facilities are clean. I've known the owner, Charmaine, for over 10 years, she is super talented and cares so much for her business and her staff. I can't say enough good things about Peppermint Spa. I can't wait for them to reopen.

Wow, it looks like a disgruntled employee wants to try and hurt a perfectly beautiful small business. It saddens me when I read a horrid review. This is why people who are real clients of Peppermint Spa are responding, one cannot help but recognize that this person is edge of covid fatigue as we all know small businesses experience a tremendous financial burden due to the lock down. The struggle to reopen is real. Businesses cannot go back to the pre-pandemic ways. Keeping the staff and client safe is a must. We support Charmaine and all their customers know that the 1-star reviews are fake. Shame on anybody who would try and hurt any small business during these difficult times. The spa is wonderful.

I was very pleased with everything today. Nicole was very pleasant and did a great job. I will be booking with her again. My toes and fingers look and feel amazing. I look forward to my next visit, just have to decide what service it will be for.

There are covid measures in place but you don’t feel too overwhelmed by the procedures. She was a little late starting but nothing felt rushed and I got the full hour for both experiences. They use the eminence product line.
