Perfect Chinese Restaurant

Food quantity is horrendous I’m flabbergasted when the food arrived me and my friends had a huge group they didn’t even give us water.

Overall I don’t recommend eating at this place, servers and other workers ignore you for anything you request and they don’t give out anything you need in a table right away, you have to ask them first and The food are small portioned, prices are way too high and expensive to be eating here, worst thing is the food is not even properly cooked and don’t meet any restaurant expectations.

Plus when we were paying, our server named alfred he was requesting for a tip, although tips in canada aren’t mandatory.
But he insisted on requesting to give them a tip for the type of service their performance.

The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent and never disappoints. Highly recommend it. "

Always a delight dinning at perfect! Their service and food is amazing at any time of the day! Even in the late night hours! Definitely visit perfect for your chinese food needs!

I don’t do reviews of restaurants but this one was too much for me. The food was awful the eggs were runny yet I cleared specified that I wanted omelette style, the rice was undercooked and the receptionist was rude to me maybe because I was a black woman who happened to want Chinese food? Bad experience plus they don’t accept debit. NEVER AGAIN.

The food is ok. A bit pricey. One good thing about it is that you can dim sum even at dinner time or late night. The restaurant is opened 24 hours

I wouldn't recommend going here again. Service took forever to be seated, let alone order, and then the food was ok, not that great. The place is filthy and when waiting for my friend in the washroom, say a server go into the tank and take out 3 out of 4 fishes who died. God knows about the lobster or crab tank.

I went inside of the restaurant around 10.30 I order the food. 11.40 and i ask the waitress when is the food gonna come.he said 5 more minutes he said the same think 5 times. Customer service is so poor. They need more staff in the kitchen.

Just ordered Uber eat for this, special piece $19.99, but take a look at the pic, all are head and tails, I only could find 2 or piece to eat in total, I will never buy This again

How can this restaurant have a 3.6 rating? ? The attitude is so bad. Should I eat or come to serve their waiter? Why is it still closed?

24-hr Chinese restaurants can be hard to come by, so this place in Scarborough has recently become a favourite spot, especially for dim sum! They seem to always be busy and it's likely because they have great food. You can also order ahead online for pick up.

Food is served very quickly here and is quite tasty!
Servers/hosts though are sometimes not the nicest

I can only guess that maybe it wasn't fresh. Both visits we had ordered other food that was ok so at least we still had full meals but looks like some dishes are hit and miss. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Amazing food, I always order. The squid tentacles, shrimp spring roll, and steamed chicken bun. Love that's it's 24/7 as well, one of my favourite place I've been going to for 10 years.

Great place for dim sums, open 24hrs. Due to Covid-19, you need to provide QR code for your vaccinations to eat-in.

Dim Sum prices are lower than most other places in Toronto. Considering the lower prices, the quality of the food is good. Dim sum are taken to your table after you placed your orders, some of the orders (shrimp rolls and rice rolls) are only luke warm; other orders like shrimp dumplings and beef balls are piping hot. I overheard another table also complained that their wonton soup was cold as well.

Good service, no wait time and great food. I recommend getting ginger scallion sauce. It enhances every dish!

Found a sharp piece of SHELLFISH in my take-out TOFU dish. Disgusting and dangerous. Apart from that, the food was tasteless, had to look at the crowded lobsters and dying fish in the tanks at the front while waiting (for about half an hour), and they weren’t accepting debit.

Run.run for your lives. Dear God, if you love your family, save yourself from this place.don't come.

Oh my goodness what a legendary spot. 24-hr dimsum and 24-hr Peking duck, what more can you ask for? The place is simple and is located in an ugly mall, but the sheer amount of excellent affordable food AND the amount of hidden private rooms they got is just absolutely fabulous!

Service from the staff can be so-so, but the management level are really nice. I also love that the dimsum you order comes out in carts. It's almost like a throwback to the old days of dimsum carts:)

The food was decent but my stomach is still on fire almost 20 hours after eating there

Edit: it's odd that you cant reply to replies here but I didnt have any spicy food. We had fried squid, and a bunch of other fried dim sum. Just remembered one of our orders came frozen inside.

Why is this place rated so well. It’s so mediocre.

Hot and sour soup had zero flavour I had to put it back on the stove and throw in more hot and sour soup powder

Shu Mai was hard like a rock

This place is OK - but this review is for their "Sweet and Sour Chicken with Pinapple" - because its an ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF - THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHICKEN at ALL - Just BREADING!
I came home, opened it up and literally its all just fried breading not a single piece of chicken! NOT A SINGLE PIECE! Charging $15 for this is absolutele thievery! I even dumped it all out to even find a single piece of actual chicken and none was found. This could be considered vegetarian with how void of meat it is! I had a craving for chicken and felt absolutely ripped off by this - so im writing this winded review to tell you to NEVER order this. Maybe be careful with any of their chicken dishes since they saute it in sauce to hide the absence of chicken.

Like its understandable to a degree if breading surrounds chicken balls or some part of these dishes - But when its ALL FRIED DOUGH - thats an outrageous marked up rip-off. I could/should have bought KFC or Popeyes if I wanted o see some trace of chicken. I could have even seen more chicken at a marked up food court.

If this review literally helps even one person avoid this absolute rip-off false advertised dish - your welcome.

Great tasting Chinese cuisine! A bit on the pricey side if you want more than 2 dishes. Open on almost all hours! Perfectly situated near us.

Brutal service. Waited forever and we even called ahead and still waited 45 mins. No apology no care that they were so slow.

Been going here for ages. Prices are a little higher, but still my spot for dim sum.

Oct 8 - Lowering my rating because made an order today of dinner combo for 6 plus an extra order of radish cake, hargow and shuimai and they didn't include the hargow and shiumai. Came all the way from Pickering to get it because I love the food, and it was for my birthday, so it was pretty disappointing to have paid for forgotten items.

Orders a few dishes and the ingredients was obviously not fresh. Little fried fish was hard as a rock and lobster was dry and tasted burnt. Very disappointed.

Update: Yes fully aware of the 30 minutes - we actually got there at the designated time.

Ordered online and drove over to pickup and they said 5 minutes and 40 minutes later still no food…. Waited over an hour for just a few dishes, you should at least be honest with people on the wait time if you’re busy!

Food and price is great. You do have to wait a bit too get served. But as long as you don't mind the wait; totally worth it!

Now I don't know if it was just an off day but the spring rolls were not hot and the Chung fan with beef was room temperature as well (:

I was a little taken aback when I walked in to pick up my order. The tanks looked inhumane for the lobster and crab - they all looked rather stunned if not dead. It didn't set the tone too well for the takeout. We ordered dimsum, which was just ok for me (as a virgin of dimsum). I don't think I'll be back.

Great spot for late night food or if you feel like fighting someone lol if you go here enough you'd see why.

Great local spot for some of your Chinese favourites. Great Dim sum selection as well along with reasonable prices. We’ve been going here for years as it’s been consistently good throughout. Family favourites are the Chicken Fried rice, Beef fried noodles with soya sauce, Fried pork in chef’s special sauce, sizzling filet minion, hot n sour soup, har cow, shiu mai, shrimp rolls and the list goes on lol

I adore this restaurant very much.theres a unique ambiance. The cuisine is exeptionaly good.the service is effective and the waiters are very professional. The cost is reasonable.profoundly recommend.

Ordered Chinese new year set meal at 9am online to pick up for 12pm. Got there on time and many people were waiting for their orders. I know they were busy for CNY but to wait nearly 2 hours! To get my food was totally unacceptable. There were so many orders ready on the table waiting to be picked up but they neglected the orders from the people standing around waiting. They should make it a priority for people already there waiting. Never again!

It has been a while since my last review of this place. As the cheapest Dim Sum Restaurant in the whole GTA (I like that), their quality became worse. (Half year ago it was still OK) I guess because they don't want to raise their price, they changed their Dim Sum wholesale supplier to a cheaper one or their Dim Sum wholesale supplier make cheaper quality Dum Sum to save the cost. Even their rice roll cook change. The rice roll didn't had the flour mixed right. You can taste the undisolved powder like texture. I wouldn't recommend this place for Dim Sum anymore. As for dinner I haven't have chance to go yet. I hope they still have good dishes.

Disgusting customer service, waited an hour for our food to come and still didn’t show up so we decided to get up and leave. The staff there are SUPER racist and extremely rude. People who came AFTER us were served way before us! I do not recommend this place to anyone AT ALL. If you do happen to go there, expect to be disappointed and have your time wasted.

Half star! The worst service ever.
I was one of the earliest customers and I ordered only two dishes and it took more than 30mintues to get my food but everyone else was getting food except my table its bc we ordered only two dishes and we had to ask for soysauce morw than 2 times and the food was so bad as well.
Also the staff was always in the back and they do not even walk around to see what customers need for.

Newly renovated party rooms are nice and clean, particularly liked about the individual washroom. Food was good. The only bad thing was the time it took for the last 2-3 dishes to come. They took almost twice as long to come as the first 4-5 dishes. And the last few dishes were noodles, rice, and deserts.

I debated as to whether or not to write this review but felt compelled to. We took my in-laws here for Christmas eve dinner last night. We ordered about seven dishes last night, stuffed eggplant and chicken were great. Peking duck, not so much. Our server was mediocre but what boggled my mind was that in the middle of our meal, three people were seated close to us and brought in a dog. This was a laptop and definitely not a service dog (had a lovely Christmas sweater on). There had to have been more than five employees see this dog enter the restaurant and continue to serve this table. I would not have cared if the dog was seated on the seat or on the floor, but the owner proceeded to take her drinking glass and bowl and feed the dog water. Again, staff not saying anything. This is a health code violation and I was not able to finish my meal. You cannot have animals drinking from the same cups you serve your guests. The overall experience ensures we will not be returning. We had celebrated my father on laws birthday here a few years back and had a much more pleasant experience.

Food is great. Service is sooooo bad. The waiters look over worked and tired. They look down and walk. When we call them they don't turn and look. It takes forever to get the food.
But amazing food.

Its open 24 hours and theyvhave a great selection of Dimsum and chinese food like peking duck, roasted pig etc.they have a lot of selection and they are very tasty!

Huge language barrier. Over priced for the simplest things that are not that tastey. It's open late nd if I can afford a huge bill nd simi empty stomach go for it.

Worst place to go to. Don’t take your loved ones here. Went at 3am to order a couple of dishes and it took more than 30 minutes just to receive the food. Not only that, but ones we received the food, it was utterly disgusting. Usually congee has a nice thick texture to it, but it was just plain watery.and we ordered the large size which just ended up going to waste. They have the worst customer service, and only prioritize people who order a lot of dishes. Also, the manager on duty tonight didn’t even listen to our request to get soy sauce.literally something so small and yet we couldn’t even get it. Don’t recommend. Go somewhere else. Not worth your time and money.

So many issues with this place. They gave us tea that the other table didn’t want, peeking duck wrappers were thick and cold (Returned the plate multiple times and final version was microwaved), fish was raw in the middle, servers had a bad attitude. This is the least perfect restaurant and will not be returning.

The food was not good competition other places I have been too, they made us wait 30+ min even though the place was nearly empty.
Definitely not a good place for vegetarians.

This restaurant has been here for decades and has been one of my families go to and preferred Chinese restaurants. Prices are cheaper than most places, staff are very nice, and the best thing is that it's open 24 hours so if you're craving Chinese food, this is the place to go. By far this is a really good restaurant. Would recommend!

Got take out and they'd forgot two dishes so we called them and they took our information down so the next time we came in we could redeem them back. We don't live very close so it's out of the way to go all the way back. Went early today for dim sum and tried to get them to look us up in their books and they said you have to come back within the month even though they didn't originally say that when we called. So they basically made a mistake and then we lost out on 20 dollars worth of food because of them. Honestly the food isn't bad and it's 24hr but there are tons of other places in the area to go also. I wish I was a bad person and dine and dashed but that's only punishes the server.

Very rude, unprofessional and lazy service. Our bill was $75 and I gave the waiter $100 bill and then he didn’t show up. After 15 minutes when we go to the counter and asked about the money they called the waiter and then give me the rest of the money. He thought I gave him rest of the money as a tip. Guys.at least give some training to your staffs.

Seems like an authentic experience. They started vacuuming the restaurant while we were eating. Good dim sum, didn't feel very fresh around 2-3pm so go earlier

The quality in the food has gone down through the years. The dim sum used to be very good. It's still fine though, not as good as it used to be.
The best time to go for dim sum is in morning, around 7 to 8 ish because it gets quite crowded during brunch hours.
I would recommend you go early in the morning for dim sum because you get to order what you want instead of waiting for the carts to come around.

Super busy. No one greeted us at the door. We seated ourselves but the food was fast and tasty. Prices were good overall. Needs more parking spaces
