Perfect Thyming Restaurant

We went here for the first time on Christmas and loved it. We definitely will be back. The food was so good, the people were so friendly and it's a nice little space. Highly recommend!

Would go regularly, spend 50$+ always tip and was always treated kindly until this morning, walked in was greated nicely told to sit anywhere then complty ignored for almost 10 mins while watching others who came in after being served menus and drinks.

Always happily tipped and experience was generally good until we were completely ignored and people entering after us were being served first and all my wife and I received was a dirty look

The eggs were great, but the potatoes were not for me.
I like them deep-fried in little cubes.

I am not from this area, was looking for a nice home cooked breakfast and this restaurant popped up first.
Simple dining but neat, lots of window seating, bright.
What I likes most was the friendly staff, quick service and the food came within a great timeframe.
Realized this was a hot spot for the locals when the waitress knew patrons by name.

We were in town for a hockey tournament. We took the te there for breakfast and the service was fast and the food was excellent. Prices were very good. Thank you to the staff for an amazing experience.

Went for breakfast and it was the most disgusting gross breakfast I have ever had. The scrambled eggs were not fluffy and they were flat and burnt around the edges, not to mention entire breakfast was cold. To top it off coffee was warm and gross too. I do not recommend this place. I will never go back again. Just horrid! I would have given zero stars if possible.

This place has new owners, much improved, opened longer now for dinner. Food very good, staff for the most part very pleasant.

Here is a list for you for a correct Toasted Western Sandwich
Cause you obviously don't know how to make one, every restaurant I have been in ALWAY use these ingredients
TBS butter
1 quarter of an onion, chopped
4 TBS chopped mixed sweet bell peppers (I used frozen)
3 slices of deli ham chopped
3 large free range eggs, beaten
2 TBS milk
salt and black pepper to taste

I was in your restaurant today and got a toasted western, it had egg and onion.
This is not a toasted western.
I might as well asked for a fried egg sandwich with an onion on top.
VERY SMALL as well. Over priced

Me and my friends go there at least once every week. The food is awesome and the service is really quick which is super nice so we can go out for lunch and still get back to work on time. Highly recommend the veggie quesadilla w/ fries as wells as the veggie skillet!

Had a lovely brunch here with friends; the staff is cooperative and friendly, the owners are very kind, and the food is delicious. Portions are amazing! We ordered pancakes, waffles, spanish omelettes, french toast, and fish n chips. Loved everything - the pancakes can be improved though:)

Food was good and quick service. Quiet atmosphere until a table of 4 people, that are known to the staff, came in and were very loud.

My family went here for breakfast today. We've been to a few places since Covid restrictions were lifted and this is by far the best place I've seen take the cleanup and restrictions seriously.

Beyond that, let's talk about the food. We had breakfast, but still presentation was good. Quality of the food was great. Bacon is nothing to write home about, but still good. Pan fried potatoes (not deep fried stuff so many others do) were great. Coffee tasted good too.

Pricing was decent for what we got and well worth it. So great value overall. Booths and decor are outdated, but overall everything else make up for it.

We're new to the area and have been checking out places between Carleton Place and Smiths Falls, and this was a great find!
The potatoes/home fries are always a huge seller for me at any establishment, and Perfect Thyming is spot-on with their pan-fried potatoey goodness. The food presentation was nice, and the staff were very kind.
I think the food was great, but I was more impressed by how obvious their covid precautions were! Nothing is left on tables. Condiments are cleaned between guests, seats are steamed between guests, masks are being used, and any guests would feel comforted by these practices.
The decor is outdated, but the food and the prices make up for it. Definitely going to be a regular visitor here!

Fantastic breakfast!
It was a full house when I was there this past weekend, but it was well worth the little wait. We had a table of 7 and there was 0 complaint anything we ordered. Our food was delicious and hot! I will be going back for sure!

This is a fun place! Always something going on! Groups, families, first date.this is a happening place! Food is 4 out of 5.

Good prices, friendly staff, food isn’t anything special, you get what you pay for I guess. If you’re looking to impress someone there are certainly better choices but if your just looking to get a quick meal give it a shot

Really nice affordable spot for breakfast or lunch. Waffles with berries was amazing! Breakfast plates and smoked meat looked and smelled great too (will have to try smoked meat next time ;-). Service was top notch. Definitely will be back soon.

Service was quick, but the food arrived cold, and pretty sure the bacon was the precooked kind you buy in a box at the grocery store that takes 10 seconds in the microwave.

You should be happy I commented positively on the quick service and gave you 2 stars (now it's 1) instead of writing more comments about how unpleasant the food you served us was, but instead you became defensive and showed that you are not concerned about customer satisfaction. If that is bacon which you have personally prepared, you should be ashamed. I have no idea what you did to make it so paper thin and tasteless, but talk about bad food. The rest of the plate was cold upon arrival; and I have no idea who these people are you speak of who continue to read the paper or scroll on their phones after the food has arrived, what an odd suggestion that your customers are so rude and thoughtless, you obviously think very highly of your customer base. Thanks for your angry, defensive reply instead of an apology or an invitation to come back to try your food again to make it right.

The smoked meat in rye sandwich was by far one of the best I've had. Service is excellent.and served quickly

Waited an hour for eggs and toast. Canceled my order and as I was leaving it showed up. The server told me they were backed up because two of their cooks had called in sick. I can understand that but they should have informed me that there would be a long wait when I walked in so I would have the option of staying or going somewhere else. On top of that I didn't find the food and coffee very good. I was just passing through Smithfalls and next time will try somewhere else

This place is so great. I am glad it is now my go to place. Food faulous, service is Devine and they will make you feel like family

Food was decent and waitresses kept coffee full, but took an unreasonable amount of time for a basic breakfast.

The food was only just okay but more pressing was the state of the restaurant. They need to do a huge overhaul and get it cleaned up. I won't be going back in the near future.

I had the late breakfast chose the "steak and eggs" all inclusive - both cooked medium perfect for me!
I recommend this restaurant, the prices are very reasonable and the service efficient and very pleasant - nice to see happy people in their jobs!

This is by far my favourite breakfast spot! I've lived from Toronto to Ottawa and the eggs benedict here is the best. The owners are wonderful people and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend checking it out!

We have been to Perfect Thyming for breakfast twice now and we have been pleased by the variety, presentation, taste and price of their food. This alone is enough to get us to go back again but what will make us want to go back again and again is the wait staff who are friendly and quick. I highly recommend Perfect Thyming.

Excellent meal, took awhile to get second cup of coffee but it was fairly busy. Breakfast poutine is amazing!
