Food tastes ok, chicken i got tasted like it was frozen mac and cheese tasted like it was kraft dinner. But the pie wildberry pie was to die for. I wish i got more plates of that pie other then the main dish

The food is decent, it's always busy. The interior requires some work. The seating is joined together with a separation wall. Every booth shook with the diners enter and exiting the booth, which is very disruptive and of no fault of the other patron (s). I wish I had taken a picture.

Nice roomy tables and excellent service with food for everyone in my family at a decent price! Totally recommend this Perkins location…even though a chain restaurant…felt like a family diner… oh and the pies? ! Take one home you won’t regret it!

LOVED IT! We were visiting the area and were unsure where to have breakfast, a local friend suggested it and I was incredibly surprised. It was absolutely delicious.

We decided to have breakfast at Perkins, where we received a warm welcome and were promptly seated in a booth. The staff was friendly. For my meal, I ventured out of my usual choices and ordered the Pot Roast Melt. It's not typically something I would go for, but I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations as I found the meat to be a bit dry and lacking in flavor. However, I did find the onion rings quite enjoyable.

One constructive suggestion I have is that when suggesting dishes, it would be appreciated if the additional charges were mentioned upfront rather than being explained after the bill is presented. Some people may not appreciate that surprise at the end.

Overall, it was an okay dining experience, not the best nor the worst. I would consider visiting Perkins again in the future, but I'll likely stick to my usual choices of pancakes and French toast.

It's Perkins. Nothing terrible. Nothing special. As mediocre as it has ever been. Friendly staff though.

Portions were large and good value for money.

Service and food were good. We received coupons with great deals so we checked them out. Left full and satisfied with food & price due to coupon deal.

Our toast was burnt, the water never came, it was slow service- but the waitress was nice. She gets the star, otherwise, don’t go. Oh, and overpriced kids meals!

Not as good a location as the one by the airport. Our server was hard-working and pleasant.

Went for brunch on a random Sunday. We were looking for an old timey diner, but hunger won and Perkins was close. We weren't expecting much and were pleasantly surprised by the stellar service, tasty food and sizeable portions. Our server, Patricia, was fast, efficient and friendly, what more could we ask for!

The service was excellent. The waitress was extremely friendly.

The meals we ordered consisted of Chicken strips and a breakfast burger. The food was okay. It was amazing or great.

Weekday Brekkie here is the best! The waiter took our drink orders before we even sat down and I had a bottomless pot of coffee and water before i even took my jacket off and looked at the menu. A little pricier then i would like to pay for breakfast, but for fast and efficient service, its worth it once in a while!

Brunch is probably my favorite weekend outing and I was not disappointed coming to Perkins. The service was fast and the bottomless coffee carafe at the table is great. I do find it a bit pricey for what we ordered, but it has been consistent and the waitstaff is efficient and friendly despite being very busy.

After waiting ages for our food, it all came out wrong. They substituted chicken biscuits for sausage biscuits without asking on my order and shorted my husband's order by an egg and 2 bacon strips. You never do a substitution without asking! Shorting an order is unacceptable as well. Doubtful we will ever return.

Have previously ordered from this restaurant on food delivery apps but then actually went into the establishment and was very pleased! The place is spacious and very clean. The staff is very kind and patient. A great place to go for breakfast and you can also buy baked goods to go. (The muffins are delicious!)

I had a beautiful breakfast and the waitress by the name Trish is so good and warm hearted. Boy! We need people like that today! Great service and food was very good.

Super clean restaurant. Smaller portions in comparison to your average breakfast place. Decent meal, nothing exceptional.

Great place for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. However, I wish they had fruits on side, unfortunately you have to pay extra for fruits. Overall highly recommend this place for peeps who love eating BIG breakfast.

The place was clean, not too busy, nice ambience. We sat inside but the patio looked really nice. Our server was really nice and friendly and took the time to engage with my 4.5 year old. The Kids menu has lots of options! The place gave me a bit of a “Denny’s” vibe. I ordered the blackened chicken southwest salad and wasn’t too impressed. The chicken was very bland and the salad (which was mostly just lettuce) was mediocre. My sons chicken fingers were slightly overdone and had that “cooked from frozen” taste. He enjoyed his cookie though! I think the online prices haven’t been updated either (although the prices are reasonable-ish.) Other than those few things, it’s a cute restaurant!

Having breakfast at Perkins, the food is great, service is great, but you have to do something about the cleanest of coffee pots. Please

Very average, there's nothing outstanding or particularly great. Went in for brunch, and honestly you can probably make it at home better. Service was okay.

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast in Pickering. The quality has fallen off a little since they first opened, but the service is still quick and friendly.

Food was great but service sucked, waited 20 minutes for a cup for my coffee, everyone at my table received their drinks while I waited.
I asked twice and one other person at my table asked as well.
No tip for this one!

Great family restaurant with a nice patio and excellent service. The breakfast options are extensive and they have a kids menu and 55+ menu.

Food was good but service was terrible. And would it kill them to put out some plants and flowers to make the patio area less ugly?

I just wanted to experience a post-pandemic restaurant to we went here tonight. Great service and fairly quiet at dinner time. I enjoyed coffee and pie, but I thought it was weird that they sat someone in the booth right NEXT to ours.when there was tons of space available. I would feel safer if they alternated booths.

The food and ambiance was good. Just out of covid so a little less rushed. All in all a good all day breakfast place to visit l. Will definitely go again.

Great food, pot roast sandwich was melt in your mouth. Waitress was fast, friendly and just the right amount of bothersome.

Great spot for breakfast. I love the menu and service. Love that I can order a lunch dish, while my husband prefers eggs, bacon and a traditional brekky. Really happy there’s a Perkins in Pickering.

The Food portions are great and the food is very tasty. A must- try is their Lemon Meringue pie.

Never had a bad meal here. Great service, great menu, but their breakfasts are a standout. The Big Country Skillet is what dreams are made of!

Oh breakfast lord! I have never been a breakfast person, but when it comes to this location and them. I would droll and happily finish my meal. Sometimes i would see some old couples around me, it kinda looks romantic seeing people still going for breakfast dates!

Great place for breakfast, lunch or anything in between. Husband and I felt like eating different food.he was in the mood for breakfast, and I wanted a hot sandwich. We thought of Perkins, and what a great decision. Late afternoon, one server staffed which was fine given the fact it was just us and another 2 tables. Lovely lady serving us, food was hot and fresh, and even a better surprise was the free slice of pie they give on Mondays! Will be back for sure:)

Dinner meal tasted good, but I found the portions a bit small. Service was ok, a little slow for a non-busy time.

Service was good but very poor selection for those watching their calorie intake. I would have liked to see a few more options for those watching what they eat.

Staff, Food and portions sizes were perfection! Our server was Trish and she was the absolute best. She was so fast and friendly and made excellent meal recommendations. She made us feel at home and and was not pushy in her upsell. The food was just right. Perfect temperature and flavour, filling without feeling greasy or fattening. We will definitely be going back.

Always a good meal with friendly service! I had the grilled chicken on a spiced rice pilaf smothered in a mushroom white wine reduction served with asparagus and coconut cream pie for dessert. It was delicious!

Eggs were not cooked properly, sausage was really dry. The only reason I gave two stars were for the french toast and pancakes, very tasty. Overall, wouldn’t go back. Very bland

Been here a few times. Service is friendly. Pancakes are amazing and the salads are good. The burger is disappointing. Need to cut the menu in half and do the remaining things a bit better.

Staff is very friendly and have great customer service. Always accommodating.

I also highly recommend trying any of the desserts. They are fantastic.
Breakfast is served all day but they have other great options too. I go quite often and would recommend to anyone wanting to try somewhere new. Try this place it's GREAT
