It was the worst experience I ever had … the lady at the store treated us very poorly.as we went there to get the service done for cutting of my dog … but the lady (at the back) at store didn’t care to get the service done. Even they didn’t have proper equipment of cutting… We went back from there very disappointed, she charged us the same amount of money.just for shower. I don’t recommend anybody to go there just to waste their time: (
I brought my rescue cat who has long fur in for a sanitary trim. I explained to the groomer she is very timid and I don't know if she had ever been groomed. I was told it would take 1 hr and was quoted $100 plus tax. Got a phone call 35 mins later saying she was ready, as I was next door I went over immediately. Groomer was already trimming a dog that had been washed so she must have finished my cat within 25 mins. She told me that she couldn't complete the blow drying because my cat was too scared. Ok I understand. But she wasn't even towelled off! Her whole back end, tail, and paws soaking wet. I was charged $125. When I got home and saw the state she was in I knew I should have said something at the time, why was I charged full price for only half a job done and returned with a cat dripping water. I will never return and should have asked for a refund or partial payment back. Lesson learned
Great customer service. Being a franchise I know prices are higher on some things then other stores so it's the service that makes a difference. Katie was extremely pleasant and helpful and answered all my sons 10,000 questions, with a smile. Every time we have used this location the service has been fantastic. Keep up the great work.
(for the girl who helped me out today while i was looking for food for my cats) pretty much as soon as i got home i put the wet food in their bowls but they havent touched it since, they seemed interested at first but then just walked away: (but thank you regardless! You were super duper nice and i appreciate the effort you put to try and help me out, my cats are just insanely picky LOL
The staff are really helpful and make great recommendations. They have an excellent selection of items and are always willing to work with customers for everyone’s satisfaction.
We took our cat to the groomer today and instead of a light trim under the belly she shaved him completely and on top of that my husband had to hold the cat the entire time. Now our poor cat looks bald and he is a beautiful siberian so I was not thrilled at all. I will have to go elsewhere in the future. Very disappointed
I had great experience with the staff who work here. Very friendly and helpful. I was given some samples for my dog to try by the cashier (20541003). Something that wasn't done at the other Pet Valu that is in my nieghbourhood. Keep up the great work.
Excellent service, friendly and amazing staff, everyone is super helpful and gave great suggestions! The groomer was also very patient and gentle with my dog getting her nails clipped 10/10 would recommend this location!
I having been going to this Pet Value location for years. The owner and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. As far as customer service goes they are Awesome. Thank you for everything you do.
The groomers here refused my dog because "they couldn't handle him" even though they never touched or attempted to do anything to him. He's a German Sheppard mix 100lbs I don't know what kind of groomer doesn't know how to deal with larger dogs. We called ahead and brought him to book and they never mentioned his size being an issue. And then the day we bring him, they lied to my mother saying some white lady brought him in to book (this is a poor excuse for lack of communication because why say yes to the other lady, and then refuse him because my black mother comes in with the dog?) No one has ever brought my dog into this location except my mother so they're lying to her face and putting the blame on miscommunication when they could have refused him when we first brought him in. We booked at the west drive location who said they would have no problem handling him and had no idea why the main street location couldn't handle a common breed like my dog. He's no afghan, st Bernard or anything like that. Very calm in the water, and yet they just looked at him said no, and lied and gaslit my mother about someone else bringing my dog in and saying she said no to them too (this did not happen) Doggard park is right down the street and there are a lot of large breed dogs that go to that park which means a lot of people have larger (60-100lbs) dogs who would need grooming. To be so close to so many dogs and refuse a dog just because they're "too big to handle" is turning away a lot of local service.
Now our appointment is in June, after rebooking TWICE for the Main st. Location. This is so frustrating to deal with. I dont know why inadequate groomers who only want to handle terriers and short hair small breeds are working at a store where you should be able to handle dogs of all sizes. I get you may not know how to handle an afghan hound or a poodle for a show but cmon, a German Sheppard lab is "too much to handle"? I'm trying the main location next. They said they have more experienced people there. Honestly don't know why anyone would be employed with such limited skills when you learn that in school. Just shows that they dont want to deal with larger dogs. Not that they can't. Not satisfied at all. Didn't even make recommendations or to rebook with another groomer. Had to do it all ourselves. Despicable.
Absolutely horrible customer service here! Don’t shop here. One of their employees lied to me and told me that I could return a crate if it didn’t fit him. I specifically asked if I could return or exchange if it didn’t fit him and she said yes. Now I tried to return it and they said no due to it’s been 2 weeks (been busy) and because of sanitation. Well if I would of know there was a no return policy then I would of waiting until I got the pup and brought him in to get the right size. I will now try and sell it online bc I have no use for it. I would never buy from this pet Valu in Brampton again!

Sola looks amazing and you never disappoint us. I love the fact that she is handled by you from start to finish, this makes her more comfortable and makes me more comfortable too! This 1 star rating is for the groomer, the staff in the front are super nice and very helpful. The groomer is super rude I did not like her sarcasm and she did not handle my dogs gently. I’ve been to so many groomers and never had an issue but the lady at this location is the worst. I will not recommend her to anyone.
Worst experience. Waited in line because cashier was busy with a guy in the back but there was a lineup. Then she had to text someone to figure out if I can return the doggy diapers that didn’t work for my dog and after making me wait she calls this person, literally is laughing and talking in front of me and another customer in line instead of just getting a yes/no answer. Imagine standing there with the cashier in the phone laughing so hard she had tears. Pathetic. Then she tells me it’s an exchange only… Useless
