Jessica was amazing for us and our new puppy visit today for his first grooming experience. She answered all of our questions and immediately demonstrated the comfort our little guy needed to be in someone else’s arms. We now know Jessica will be a great contact for us as we questions in the future.

Pet valu in Clair road go above and beyond to help you get the food your cat/dog needs. The staff are extremely helpful and professional! I recommend them to anyone!

Best place for Simba bath, he loves this place because, after bath he get treats from same store.

Today we got there with the intention of using the Dog Wash. They close at 6 and arrived at 5: 15. The employee refused to let me use as it was too late because he would have to mop the area after! I’m done with these employees who are too lazy to do the job they’re paid to do. I hope the owner sees this and understands why I and others take out business elsewhere. Good luck when PetSmart opens across the street.

Disappointed to see similar negative reviews with respect to their grooming service. I showed up to a Saturday morning appt (booked almost 2 months in advance) for the groomer to tell me the hot water wasn’t working (reportedly on and off all week) and that he had to cancel. No reschedule was offered… a call days before, the night before or morning of (at least!) would have been nice based on the recurrent issue. He did offer a complimentary nail trim, so I decided to give the store another try. I called the store a few weeks ago, where I was told I now have to book direct with the groomer. I called, left a voicemail and sent a text message (all leaving my contact information clearly) and never heard back. I won’t be returning, wouldn’t recommend and hope this location can sort out their grooming services.

Upon arrival to my appointment after having the initial appointment cancelled the groomer refused service at first because he hadn’t groomed my dog before it was another groomer who had done it. After saying it’s okay if you feel comfortable doing it then I’ll be okay with it. Then, after handing off my dog I mentioned if there are any issues with biting or anything please feel free to call me. He suddenly refused to groom my dog based off a previous experience he had with A DIFFERENT DOG. I mentioned he has never had issues at other places including your store so why is there an issue and his reasoning was my dog is not neutered. It’s unacceptable to hold another dogs actions on a different dog. As a responsible dog owner I feel it’s necessary to remind people although he’s kind he could bite.

Bad service from snooty staff. Suggesting cat food for wrong aged cats and splitting up siblings for adoption is unacceptable. Will definitely be going elsewhere in the future.

A big thanks for going above and beyond. This store doesn't have delivery so the staff does it on their way home. I know I'll be volunteering to help drive orders to others in need.

Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Selection is plentiful. Their pet wash station is awesome!

I love your products but I had a terrible customer service experience in this store, impressively bad actually. I came in around 1-2pm Today, and The young blonde girl working today not only complained about my needing assistance with reaching a product on a high display shelf, marked over $120 that I was looking to buy, but even complained to me directly that she did not want to take it down because someone else had her take it down to look at yesterday. She took out a book that hat the cat trees and prices in it, and guessed at the cost of the item I wanted, and when I asked her to verify that was the cost she looked upset, She then threw the product book of your cat tree options rather aggressively on the floor in front of me and angrily (from the clear look of displeasure she gave me) got a ladder to pull the product down. I get my dogs groomed at this location regularly and have for years, and I've NEVER had service like this from there before. She looked to be in her teens to early 20s. Blonde hair in a bun on top of her head. She made me want to not go back there, but this is the best location for my area. I still bought the product because I needed it but I've never experienced anything like this in any store before.

Barnaby is a great groomer. Our pup is normally anxious about grooming but he walks right in to Barnaby's like he owns the place! And he's always so handsome when he comes out again. ️

Always have someone ready to help you find something in the store and are always very friendly towards everyone.

Service has improved alot in the past few months and everything is always there when i need it.

Took my dogs there for a bath and it was a great experience. Large tub, towels, everything you need.

If I could give a zero I would. I didn't even get a chance to rate the service. Had an appointment for grooming January 18th. The groomer cancelled due to the weather. I understand it was bad weather. I was told I would be contacted the following day. Never heard back again. I called the store Thursday of that week and was told the groomer was off sick but she would have them contact me. Never heard a thing back from anyone. Terrible customer service!

Last time I was in buying pet supplies I witnessed a lady washing a white husky punch him in the head because it wasn’t staying still. Won’t go back

Friendly staff and great selection of products. We were very satisfied with the return policy when we were trying to pick out the right size harness for our pup.

Good place to wash your dog. It costs $10 so depending on how much your dog seems to LOVE THE DIRTIES PUDDLES IN THE ENTIRE PARK it's a pretty reasonable price. Staff are super friendly, and the prices are average I'd say.

They don't always have the exact brand or item we're looking for, but the staff is so helpful and always give good suggestions. Good selection of cat and dog toys and supplements.edit.tried the dog wash today. What a great idea. $10 gets you shampoo.of your choice, towels, brushes. Tubs are nicely tiled and good size, even for our rottweiler. Love this feature.

Great staff at the Claire Rd.location. Friendly and helpful. And this is the absolute best place to wash your dog. A raised tub, shampoo, and towels you dont have to wash. Just brilliant!

Honestly we go here to wash our dog and buy treats during emergencies and that's about it. Nothing against the store. We're thankful to have a dog washing station so close to home, and the staff are friendly. Otherwise, I find Pet Valu to be average to high priced and there's better selection at other bigger pet stores. 4 stars because one time my dog stole a treat and they were kind enough not to charge us even though our pup is a sneaky thief.

Small pet store. Focusing on cats and Dogs. Small collection of small animal products but you would be better served elsewhere. Dog/Cat products are numerous for such a small location

Nice pet store! Great selection, friendly service and even tried to special ordered a product but then found out they couldn't get the specific size I wanted.

Staff was friendly and were more than willing to help me find the proper dog food for my girlfriends frechie.

Love this store. The owner is a fantastic resource for my German Shepherd. The staff are friendly and helpful, and truly love animals. They have the most amazing stock of food for all pets, and great enrichment toys and ideas. Located across from the Costco, we can get all of our shopping in at one time.

The owner is very helpful. He brought a product in for me that I was specifically interested in for my dog, and continued to stock the item for me. Most of his employees are knowledgeable and quite helpful.

Great little shop, always friendly and have a great selection of products, often low on Hill's Science Diet but not inconvenitently
