I recently purchased 3 suits and multiple custom shirts. Service has been great the whole way through and I’m very happy with the final product. The prices are also extremely reasonable compared to other bespoke tailors. I’ll be continuing to use Peter Parvez going forward!

If you need custom suits or need anything to get altered please do not go here. It will save you a lot of time and disappointment. It’s not a coincidence that the five newest reviews all gave this company a 1 star rating.

So we ordered and paid Peter Parvez in early July to get 4 customs fit suits and 1 vest for a wedding on Sept 27. As they were measuring us, it felt really rushed but they assured us that they know what they are doing.

After they took these measurements, we lost basically all contact with them. They would not answer our phone calls or emails. We had to book appointments to actually get in contact with them and figure out when we would be getting our suits.

It took until the middle of August to actually try on these suits, as they lost the groom’s suit in transit. This was really unprofessional and pushed the timeline back. Once the groom tried the suit on, it was extremely big on him. The vest he ordered was also the wrong colour.

We are now three days before the wedding and the groom does not have a fitted suit for his own wedding. He also has not received his vest as of yet. We do not trust Peter Parvez to alter the suit so we went to another tailor who was shook that a custom tailor shop would give a suit that was not even close to the person’s body shape. We are paying an additional $400 for alterations from this other tailor to fix all that is wrong with the suit.

Weddings are stressful. Peter Parvez has made it a 100 times more stressful.

Such a poor experience. Literally the only words said to me were “I make you a blazer”. Both when dropping off and picking up.

When picking the three shirts I wanted I was passed a fabric book and was given zero conversation, zero advice and no options on the shirt. I wasn’t even offered the custom monogram that I thought would be offered.

Was nice to get some custom shirts but I honestly have no faith that they’re even the right fit because I had zero conversation with what I think is the rudest man in the business. Very strange.

Like many recent reviewers, I have had a very negative experience with Peter. I ordered two suits which came extremely poorly tailored - they were not fitted but extremely baggy. Additionally, he/his tailors managed to misspell my surname in the embroidered label, an unreversable mistake. He suggested I take the suits to a Calgary tailor to get them fixed and then he would refund me for the alteration costs. I duly did so to the tune of $150, but on presentation of the receipt, Peter ghosted me, declining to reply to either my multiple emails, or answer my phone calls (to both Calgary and Toronto offices).

Looking at the other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one Peter owes a refund. I suspect that the five star reviews are either fake or from long ago when Peter's more affable acquaintance Abe was working in Calgary.

Horrible customer service. Suits were made with incorrect measurements, some in the wrong colour. It was clear that the job was rushed and there was no attention to detail. We purchased 5 suits for my fiance's groomsmen and by the time we received the suits and realized all of these issues it was too late. The quality of the suits are good, however, given the experience, we will not use Peter's service again. Do not recommend.

Ordered 3 tailored shirts from here. They mixed up order details and the cuff style. When I tried to return them and they confirmed their mistake, the gentleman said they had to ship the shirts back to Hong Kong where they came from and it would be too expensive. I asked for my money back instead and the gentleman refused. Overall the customer service is poor, they constantly try to upsell you, and the shirts get tailored in Hong Kong and are mediocre quality. You will likely have a better experience going elsewhere.

This guy is a trash bag. Was fitted 4 months out and got the suit days before which didnt fit, was told they wouldnt be able to alter it before the wedding, showed up to wedding looking like I was in a jump suit. AVOID

Peter was very pleasant to deal with in the beginning at his edmonto office downtown. But after we purchased group on and arrived we were up sold with a cheap sales tactic. The group on only had a tiny selection for fabrics. And the color we wanted was in the higher bracket. We had to refund the group on and pay $500 for a suit and shirt combo. The material we choose felt premium on the sample book. But when the suits came in it didn't feel the same. That was only the beginning of the issues. The suits did not fit properly and one of the shirts was not made. Peter tried to get one of the groomsmen to pay a a extra 80 to get his shirt made even though we all paid 500 even as the agreed deal. Shoulder measurements were wrong even though peter measured twice. Arm holes were too big. Chest measurements did not fit. And pants were too tight on the hips and thighs. Horrible fit. Peter assured as it was not a problem and he would get then altered in time for the wedding. He quickly rushed us out of his office and said he would ship it to us before the wedding. We had to call mulptiple times to ask him when it would be completed. It was shipped out 6 days before the wedding and no second fitting. One of the suits was not even altered even though peter said he would. The pants were still way to tight. To the point of not being able to sit down. We flipped the pants inside out to check the inseam for the thigh. There was not enough material to let out so peter ignored it and sent it to us as is. The suits shoulder still did not fit properly. Quarter inch off on both sides. Arm holes were still too big. Lots of extra material under the arm. Peter's response to all this was. " just wear the suit to the wedding and I will fix it after. " Excuse me sir I cannot sit down wearing this pants because its extremely too tight. How can i wear it. You promised a suit that would fit perfectly before the wedding. How is fixing it after the answer? Peter then says " ok bring the suit back by Friday (2 days before the wedding) and I'll refund you your money. Excuse me you wasted 3 months of out time just to return it and have us look for suits with 2 days left until the wedding? Peter is cunning. Very nice upfront but when it's time to deliver or fix his mistakes he takes a back seat. We paid 500 CAD for a suit and shirt combo and he has the nerve to say " what do you expect when you pay 500. Your are not paying me 3000 so that's what you get. The blatant disrespect for his clients after being paid is unbelievable. How he is in busniess is beyond me. I have not altered the suit and have photos and receipt to prove what peter did. We allowed him an opportunity to correct this and he ignores our calls. And we are still missing one of the shirts for the wedding party. This man conned us out of 500 for basically off the rack suits that dont fit properly. Measurements were way off. So either peter was lazy or incompetent when it came to taking measurements or the suits were poorly constructed. He said they were made in hong kong. It must of been the lowest of the lows. Terrible manners after he gets paid. And does not honor his own deal. Tells your what you want to hear to get you out of his little office. Then sends out the suits after being "altered" by mail when you have less then a few days before the wedding. So leaves you no time to actually bring them to another tailor to fix. Leaves you no options but to wear it as is. The pants are so tight I cannot even walk in them properly. Going to take all the evidence to local news here and toronto. Not to get my money back. But to ensure no one else gets scammed by peter parvez.

Had my measurements done mid April for an overcoat and 3 shirts. I was told it would take a month to arrive, it's currently July and I've received nothing.

I've called them several times over the last 2 months, each time I'm told that my shirts have arrived, but they're waiting on the overcoat to arrive. Communication is non existent, no clue why they're so highly rated on groupon.

The selection and quality of Peter Parvez is ideal. I have purchased numerous shirts, pants, and suits from Peter Parvez over the years. I have always struggled to find store-bought shirts that fit (long arms, small waist), but through Peter Parvez I no longer have that issue. All my orders with Peter have been very accurate and fit exactly as promised.

I would recommend the services of Peter Parvez to any friends or family. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to make the right choices amongst their selections.

Do Not Waste Your Money Here!

I never write reviews but this terrible experience made me do it. By far the worst customer service experience we have ever dealt with. It was impossible to get a hold of Peter once the order was placed. We placed an order for a groom and 5 groomsmen. The groom's suit was very flimsy and extremely poor in quality and it was no where close to a custom fit. The groom went for three different fittings and it was still a disappointment. Peter did not even care that's it's a groom's suit and he made no effort to satisfy his customer. We had to place an order elsewhere for the groom's suit. For the groomsmen suit, he made them all come there too many times too close to the wedding with no suit being there to try on. He claimed it was not his mistake that the suits didnt arrive since as per the courier service it was dated to arrive. He showed me his phone and his shipment is coming from CHINA! He is just taking measurements and sending it to China to be made. He hesitated to make fixes to the suit even when it was too tight and causing wrinkles on the back; he claimed that's how its supposed to be. Two of the groomsmen suit came two days before the wedding and Peter wasnt even there like he promised and we had to give in for alteration else where and had to pay for that. Do not goto him, save your money and go somewhere else.

I've ordered 9 shirts and a 3 piece suit so far from Peter over the course of about 4 years, and I've always been very happy with the material and the fit. Store-bought shirts never seem to fit me right but the shirts from Peter are perfect. It's also very quick and easy to get measured, and the shirts are ready in just a few weeks. Would definitely recommend.

Just bought a second batch of custom shirts from Peter Parvez. The experience was excellent as usual. Mathew was extremely helpful and offered solid recommendations for someone who's not fashion forward. Will be heading back to them in the future for a custom coat and suit. If you're looking for custom tailor Peter Parvez is a good option at an affordable price.

I’ve been buying my work wardrobe from Peter Pavez for several years. Excellent service. Good quality. Good value. I keep coming back. If you can wait (suits are made overseas) this is excellent value. Would recommend as long as you can wait a few weeks to get your clothes.
