Excellent treatment of the two pets we have had. All of the vets and staff care for animals and provide an exceptional level of service.

Great doctors, the clinic is very busy and often it's difficult to get them on the phone.

I always have an amazing experience at PPH but recently, my youngest cat ate a string. They were able to book me in that day and Dr Muise saved my cats life. Thank you to all the staff for your compassion and honesty during such a difficult time.

First visit with new puppy. The staff were genuinely kind with all the animals. Elly loved her visit. The doc was very informative. Thank you.

My son took his dog to Ptbo Pet Hospital for routine visit and vaccinations in 2019. Her shots were not due for renewal until 2022. A few days ago, his dog ripped a claw badly and needed to see a vet as the foot was clearly infected. He booked an appointment 4 days away as that was all they had.on the day of the appointment, Ptbo Pet Hospital called and cancelled his appointment because the dog's shots were overdue (by 1 month and we received no reminder or notification) and they decided they didn't have time to deal with the issue leaving us high and dry! We were extremely fortunate to be referred by a friend to Cavan Hills Veterinary Services who not only saw the dog SAME DAY (after asking to see photos of the injury and assessing it by email) but the TOTAL cost for injury + all vaccines was less than we paid at Ptbo Pet Hospital for just a routine visit! Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place.all they care about is $$ and don't care at all about the animal. My son is on ODSP and can't afford to take a healthy pet in for routine annual visits unless there are issues. Cavan Hills Rocks! Super professional and cost effective.

Amazing group they truly care about our fur babies. And care for them as their very own. Tyson loves going for a visit.

I'm a first time pet owner and needed to bring my newly rehomed dog in for a check up because it had been awhile since her previous owners brought her. The staff and vet who I dealt with were very friendly, informative, and helpful. Prices were decent and I was offered a couple different options to work with my budget.

I cant say enough good things about this vet clinic. After being to other vets in town, I thought they were all the same. 100% not true. The care my animals have received at Peterborough Pet Hospital is ten times the care they've ever received elsewhere. We've had 3 surgeries done by Dr. Muise - I dont think I'll ever trust another surgeon to treat my dogs. He is so accommodating and does an amazing job. My dog needed emergency surgery and he booked us in right away, we also had an orthopedic surgery on my dogs knee and he did follow up appointments with us for months at no additional cost. The cost of the surgery covered all follow ups which was amazing. He will explain absolutely everything to you and takes such good care of your animal. We see Dr. Simmonds for our usual concerns - my dog loves him. She has always had anxiety and spent most of her past vet appointments standing and staring into a corner to avoid the whole situation. Dr. Simmonds is so friendly with her and immediately makes her feel comfortable, she even wags her tail and goes to see him (something she doesnt do with anyone unless family). As a golden retriever she has a new medical problem seemingly every other week. Dr. Simmonds works with us to not only help the problem, but maintain her quality of life, keep her comfortable and happy. Previous vets I've seen have given medications or fixed the problem at the time, but have never been available for continued care or worked with us to maintain/long term prevent things. I cant see myself ever trusting another vet with my animals the way I do here. Also the technicians are wonderful! They dont rotate staff the way other clinics do often, the girls are always helpful and friendly, talk to you about things and explain whatever you need. I 100% recommend bringing your pets here for vet care you can trust.

I can’t imagine taking my 2 Frenchie’s ANYwhere else. When I first got Polly
I had no idea how ill she was, I was uneducated and in love with my first puppy. Without a doubt I can say because of Dr Simmons & Trista (and the entire staff) working with me every day trying to make my puppy healthy, explaining everything to me - they are why she is still alive. When I decided to get my 2nd French bulldog I first spoke with them and asked all the questions. I had a check list of things to look for. We found the perfect companion to help Polly with her anxiety. Prim is much healthier then Polly but because of our experiences and our relationship with our vet and vet techs and the amazing girls at the front desk I honestly cannot thank them enough. Everyone is knowledgeable, professional and treat my girls like they are their own. Thank you for everything you do!

I have been using this clinic for several years and wouldn't change for anything. The girls at the front, even you Heather (LOL) to everyone in the back have my utmost respect for what they do and how they have treated my dogs over the years. They are professional, caring and lately been treating my "Buddy" as he is diabetic. If it wasn't for Dr Jeff Simmons and everyone at Peterborough Pet Hospital I can only Thank them for Buddy being alive and with me today. Amazing place and Thank you.

Prices are the cheapest and most reasonable around. Very accommodating with fitting your pet in and with pick up time. Very highly recommend taking your animals here!

If you have a friend that is hurt/sick these great people will do everything & anything to make your little one well again!

Dr Smith and Dr. McDermid are always great with my cats and always very knowledgeable and they actually care about your animal not just the money they make like other places.
